Hillary can count on the GOP’s useful idiots

Chasing after pats on the head from the media, country club Republicans continue to line up against Trump. They rose to power on appeals to “Republican loyalty,” but now display none. Party pragmatism suddenly disgusts them, as they deliver lectures about “values” higher than victory. Who knew RINO proponents of abortion rights and gay marriage cared so much about transcendent values?

 

Of course, it is never explained how handing victory to Hillary will advance those values. According to Bret Stephens of the Wall Street Journal, Hillary is a more “survivable event” than Trump. While providing the political season’s dumbest comment, Stephens calls Sean Hannity Fox’s “dumbest” anchor. The Republicans Stephens represents denounce Trump for his superficiality even as they glibly warm up to what would be a disastrous Hillary presidency. They call Trump vulgar while showering him in vulgar epithets and profess horror at his egotism while wallowing in their own.

My Take - From this article we can ascertain some things about the Republican elite.  First of all, they're not now, nor have they ever been, conservatives.  Secondly, they're clearly in agreement, or at the very least harmonious, with the left regarding religion, and in particular Christianity. Thirdly, they claim a "survivability" component to this election.  I agree with them on that, but what we have to determine is "whose" survivability are they talking about.  Is it the nation's survivability or their own they're so concerned about? 

If Trump gets elected they see themselves kicked out.  Worse yet - they won't be able to tap into the government feeding trough.  With Clinton they see things going on just as they are now.  What they don't seem to grasp is this may be the last election if Hillary is elected, and just as the industrialists who supported Hitler believed he could be controlled.....they're in for a rude awakening when she destroys the Constitution with her Supreme Court picks, destroys the economy with the taxes and regulations she's sure to pass and her willingness to abandon the the United States to the United Nations. 

There is one more thing.  If they are successful in undermining Trump so as to not be elected - the Republican Party is doomed, and it won't be Trump's fault.  He may have been the trigger, but the coming doom is invertible if Trump isn't elected. because conservatives are sick of these politicians.    Conservatives will abandon the party in droves and there will be a third party, and just as the Whigs disappeared when the Republican Party was created......so to will the Republican party. 

However, by then  Democrats will completely dominate the political realm and then it won't matter if there are any other parties.  The Democrats will come to full fruition and openly become the communist party, banning any other party.
