A writer at the New York Times recently said people should not use critical thinking but allow the paper and other so-called experts to do the critical thinking for them. In fact, he advised not looking at any other news sources. However, since a Times reporter in the Soviet Union, Water Duranty, lied in his articles puffing Josef Stalin, or Uncle Joe, when Duranty knew the tyrant was killing millions of people, many of that paper's articles have been suspect. Staff writers have even left the publication, accusing the Times of enforcing a biased culture.........

Today in Oregon, the leftist political clique has now adopted "woke" mathematics, where the teacher can't ask you to show how you arrived at your answer or can't tell you there's a right or wrong answer to two plus two...............One wonders how children raised in "woke" mathematics are going to become doctors. They couldn't prescribe a certain number of pills a day, because that would be oppressive.......The woke sensibility doesn't even remember the recent past, let alone the millions of people killed by Marxist cultures, nor the true freedom brought to civilization by loving your neighbor and your enemy as yourself.
