If You Know What's Good For You, You Better Not Become an X-Democrat!

On March 21, 2021 Joseph Farah, publisher of World Net Daily, ran this piece, The Van Drew Rule: Why ex-Democrats are so rare.  Answer: Death threats!

U.S. Representative Jeff Van Drew out of New Jersey used to be a Democrat and then decided he actually agreed with Donald Trump's Make America Great Again views, and became a Republican.  And in days gone by that would have caused a stir, especially in a state like New Jersey, but after a lot of hot and heavy rhetoric, it would have passed.

As the author notes how that's changed because now there's a price to pay for that kind of thing in America, at least if you're a Democrat becoming a Republican, and especially if you're choosing to be a conservative Republican.   Now he's getting death threats from a "columnist" named John McCall of the Ocean City Sentinel saying:

"I would swear to your demise as a politician and I believe that you personally are a degenerate,"  "As a member of the New Jersey Press Association, I will do everything in my power to ensure that you are deposed if not dead. Anything I can do to basically get you out of office, I will do. You are a traitor Jeff Van Drew and you deserve the fate of all traitors."

This lunatic went on to say:

"And as a traitor, he has forfeited his right to protection under the law. Know this V.D.: It doesn't stop here. ... God save you."

The author goes on to report:

McCall also recently wrote speculatively about sexually assaulting the congressman's wife and storming his house to "violate his family."

How can that not be considered a crime?  Certainly a "hate crime", which is an unending phony catch all  leftists use to attack conservatives.  Apparently it only works in one direction!  Imagine that!

And what did the the publisher of the Sentinel, a man named David Hahan, have to say?  Instead of preventing this man's vile comments from being published, or condemning what is clearly vile and threatening, he excused his comments, all with the usual, I'm so sorry you have a problem clabber.  Is it any wonder the print media is dying?

Well, it's my understanding that threatening a federal government official is a crime.  If that's true, and I think it is, this man needs to go to jail.   Ask yourself this:  When was the last time you saw this happen to an ex-Republican?   But being an ex-Democrat means being an X Democrat.  The X being a target on their back.

This pattern of violence and threats played out all during the Trump administration and it was promoted by people like Maxine Waters, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi and a host of other prominent Democrats including a host of Hollywood misfits.

How long can this can go on before these promoters and perpetrators of violence are held accountable?  How long before we recognize who the real promoters of violence are in America?

Okay, for those who think that last one is a trick question, here's a clue: It's not ex-Democrats?

  1. Of course this is occurring, but this is nothing new. Ever since the Vietnam War, prosecutions against Leftist agitators has been about nil, except for show trials like the Chicago 7.

Everything related to the criminal justice system has been pathetic for decades. Why? Easy. Conservative lawyers don't go into the justice system. They would rather join the private sector. Thus, about 105% of everyone is liberal.
