It's a phenomenon like we've never seen before. Jeb Bush was the de facto leading candidate in the GOP primary, with the establishment money backing him and the glut of conservatives in the race lagging behind due to their splitting up the conservative vote. Suddenly, Donald Trump entered the race and shattered Bush's lead, outpacing him by double digits in the polls. In some instances his rhetoric seems to go too far, but so far he's untouchable; the more outrageous the statements, the higher his ratings. He is attracting the average Republican who doesn't pay much attention to politics but knows him from his TV show The Apprentice and his celebrity businessman status. He brings star power into the race that the other candidates cannot match. Full Story;
My Take - This is a strange article, but I thought you
might find it worth perusing, which is followed by an even stranger article.
I'm often amazed at comments made after debates and wonder if everyone
watched the same debate. Let's get this once and for all. Trump was challenged
on his positions - p0sitions he publically tooted on a regular basis – and comments
he willingly spouted to the public in one forum or another. He was the front
runner, and as a result how could any panel ignore any of his positions.
Finally - Let's suppose he was nominated and none of this came out, does anyone
really believe any of those issues wouldn’t be raised by the opposition…….
after it’s too late? That's what primaries and debates are for - to expose
their views, their lives, their weaknesses and their strengths and for a bomb
thrower like Trump to complain now shows his true character.
As for Rush and others to be ‘outraged’ that
Fox went after him – either deliberately or not….. is silly.
This is politics…..watch my lips…..this is
politics.
Trump is toast!
Get over it. Here's pollster Luntz's view on Trump, and the view I think is absolutely correct!
Fox News Kow-Tows to Bilderberg Politics, Obstructs Evening Debate to Coronate "Jeb!"
By Jonathan Henderson, on August 8th, 2015 Fox News Kow-Tows to Bilderberg Politics, Obstructs Evening Debate to Coronate "Jeb!"
I briefly glanced at E! Entertainment's piece claiming Megyn Kelly the big winner of the Fox News debates. And perhaps E! is right. After all, she provided the entertainment, which appeared as a Rovian Inquisition. And the debate was waged based on who the little queen permitted to speak. She literally could have starred in "The Devil Wears Prada". Because the night cap of August 6, 2015's GOP debates made me, for the first time, a believer in Alex Jones. What I watched last night was the Bilderberg edition of the Jerry Springer Show. I may picket outside with the InfoWars crowd next year. And why not? Given the decrepit Australian global media mogul Rupert Murdoch intends to employ Fox News to preserve his Trans-Pacific Partnership pipedream, he is prepared to destroy Donald Trump and stonewall Tea Party candidates in order to crown Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton emperor.

Why the Supreme Court Ruling On Marriage Was Even Inconsistent With Libertarianism
By Brian Ferguson, on August 7th, 2015
Mary, a Conservative is visiting a certain IVY league campus attended by a good friend, and runs into John who is a Libertarian. She gazes over and notices that he is carrying a copy of a classic Thomas Sowell book and decides to strike up a conversation with him. Mary: Wow, rather odd running into another Conservative in these parts. John: Yes it is, although I don't really classify myself as a Conservative, I'm a Libertarian. Actually I used to refer to myself as a Conservative until fairly recently. Mary: Really? what spurred the change of heart? John: Over time I've just found Libertarianism to be a more consistent Philosophy.
