Former secretary of state Henry Kissinger famously asked, “Who do I call if I want to call Europe?” Since the fall of Napoleon Bonaparte, that question has been unanswerable because Europe never spoke with one voice. The European Union has its presidents. France’s Jean-Claude Juncker is president of the EU Commission and Poland’s Donald Tusk is president of the EU Council. My Take - The Iron Chancellor of Germany in the 19th century was Otto Von Bismarck. He said unlike America, that really was a county with a shared culture and language, Europe was nothing more than a geographical designation. Europe is doomed, economically, socially and demographically. When it's all over Europe will be a third rate continent rife with civil strife. Bankrupt and begging the U.S. to bail them out.
Let's get this right: We don't need Europe. We need to let them suffer the consequences of their arrogance. The Bretton Woods era is coming to an end....get over it!
