Green New Deal Is Little More Than Socialism Masked as Environmental Policy

Democrats unveiled their latest version of the Green New Deal last Thursday, but despite some concessions to reality, this version is still little more than socialism masked as environmental policy.
It’s a modern rehash of the original New Deal of the 1930s, which, despite its success in increasing the size of government and distending the Constitution, had its excesses contained by the Supreme Court.
