Benjamin Franklin once declared, “I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.”

My Take - Can the nation fix itself? The abandonment of the concept of creation and a creator as the ultimate moral arbiter dooms society. For this to change will require massive changes in the basic moral paradigms society functions under and finds acceptable. We've become a society devoid of sanity at the most fundamental levels - government, education and the news media! In short - we've lost our minds!
