DOJ Ignored Evidence Of Terrorism Leading To Travel Ban Being Struck Down

Department of Justice attorneys ignored ample evidence of terrorists from the nations affected by President Trump’s executive order on immigration and refugees. This helped lead to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upholding a suspension of the order Thursday afternoon.

“The Government has not shown that a stay is necessary to avoid irreparable injury,” the unanimous opinion said. “The Government has pointed to no evidence that any alien from any of the countries named in the order has perpetrated a terrorist attack in the United States.”

The opinion from the appeals court added that this is “despite the district court’s and our own repeated invitations to explain the urgent need for the executive order to be placed immediately into effect.”...........The DOJ has not responded to a press inquiry about why their attorneys were unprepared.............To Read More.....

My Take - First of all - the government doesn't have to show these judges anything....period!  The law is clear - this falls under the purview of the President of the United States and the courts have absolutely no say in this matter.  This is a clear case of the federal judiciary overstepping it's bounds.  If these judges refuse to back away - the President of the United States should simply order the entire executive branch to ignore this order by an out of control federal judiciary.  It's time for a Constitutional crisis!  And the courts need to be slapped into place. 

Secondly - the fact the DOJ was unprepared demonstrates this department is a viper's nest of leftist lackeys that needs to be purged.
