Despite previous statements questioning human activity’s role in climate change, former Texas Governor Rick Perry assured Senate Democrats in his confirmation hearing to be Secretary of Energy that he believes the “climate is changing.”
“I believe some of it is naturally occurring, but some of it is caused by manmade activity,” Perry told the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources Thursday, reassuring skeptics that he will follow “sound science” as energy secretary........See more
My Take - I've watched Perry do the Washington two step for years and it should be clear to the most casual observer as a conservative he's a leaky vessel on his best conservative day. How did they pick this political hack as a tool to clean the Energy Department's bureaucratic stygian stables?
He's clearly uninformed, misinformed, stupid, cowardly - or all of the above - if he's claiming he believes humanity has something to do with climate change. That's a ploy someone uses to avoid standing in the line of fire from the media, the left, and activist warmers. He's not the man for the job.....unless they're going to give him a back bone transplant.
This is not a good start friends!
