Media hacks
may be ready to anoint Chris Christie as the 2016 Republican nominee for
president, but Clear Channel's Sean Hannity isn't. Yesterday on his nationally syndicated radio
talk show, Hannity questioned the appeal of Christie: "I don’t know what the big appeal of
Christie––just based on the record––is. It is hardly an economic boom or a
turnaround in the state of New Jersey, I can tell you that."
Hannity went
on to say Christie did not represent the "mainstream of conservatism"
and warned that the New Jersey Republican would not be able to beat Hillary
Clinton in a head-to-head match-up. Listen to the segment here:
