Obama Distracts his way to Victory

This week's episode of "Distract a Republican" began with the Senate
launching the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), a boondoggle designed
to please gay rights advocates and trial lawyers. The bill would supposedly
stop discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity in the
workplace. In reality, the bill creates a vaguely defined protected class that
would take precedence over religious Americans.

told the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday that the town of Greece, N.Y. has no
business opening its public meetings with Christian or other sectarian prayers."We
hope the Supreme Court will agree that civic participation should not be
conditioned on compromising one's religious scruples," said Americans
United Legal Director Ayesha Khan.
