The Prince of
Wales has warned that natural disasters like Typhoon Haiyan that devastated the Philippines and
flooding in India earlier this year will become more common unless action is
taken to tackle climate change. The
Prince urged governments taking part in international climate change
negotiations in Warsaw to form new agreements on cutting greenhouse gas
emissions by reducing deforestation around the world. He was speaking at the launch of a new report
examining the progress of the private sector in reducing deforestation.
Here are some other
applicants to the Club!
UN
head Ban Ki-moon says Typhoon Haiyan due to climate change - 'We have seen now
what has happened in the Philippines. It is an urgent warning. An example of
changed weather and how climate change is affecting all of us on Earth.'
Philippines
lead negotiator Yeb Sano at UN climate summit in Warsaw 'announces he will not
eat during the conference, until a meaningful agreement has been achieved’
Jeffrey
Sachs Special Advisor to UN Sec.-General Ban Ki-moon, 'Climate liars like
Rupert Murdoch & Koch Brothers have more & more blood on their hands as
climate disasters claim lives across the world.'
Clearly they deserve immediate acceptance.
In the real world where facts actually matter, ‘There have been 35
cyclones in the last 800 years that have killed more than 10,000 people.
Thirty-three occurred with CO2 below 350 PPM. The deadliest one in 1970 was
blamed on global cooling at the time”. Does anyone see a pattern here? Global Cooling – Global Warming – it really
doesn’t matter. If the temperatures
remained the same they would be upset at Global Stability. It isn’t about climate….it’s about power and
money, and destroying capitalism in order to impose a worldwide government
under the most corrupt, incompetent organization the world has ever known: The
United Nations. There's more here!
