A Billion Dollar Somali Autism Fraud in Minnesota

By Daniel Greenfield @ Sultan Knish Blog

The $250 million ‘Feeding Our Future’ free food fraud in which Somali groups stole a quarter of a billion dollars while claiming to feed hundreds of thousands of children who never existed seemed like the biggest case of welfare fraud in Minnesota, but it may be just the beginning.

Somali autism fraud, partly linked to the ‘Feeding Our Future’ scam, may be even bigger and after the FBI raids of autism clinics last December, the scale of it is still being put together.

The pattern in both Somali meals for children and autism treatment for children is similar.

In 2019, Feeding Our Future distributed $3.4 million in taxpayer food aid funds to the non-profits it was sponsoring, In 2020, that shot up to $42 million and then up to $197 million in 2021.

EIDBI autism claims to Medicaid in Minnesota similarly shot up from $3 million in 2018 to $54 million in 2019, $77 million in 2020, $183 million in 2021, $279 million in 2022, $399 million in 2023, and nearing $400 million most of the way through 2024 for a total of over $1.4 billion.

How did autism claims rise from $3 million to $400 million a year in just 4 years?

The number of autism providers shot up 700% from 41 to 328 over 5 years. 1 in 16 Somali four-year-olds (6%) were supposedly suffering from autism leading to a mass demand for services. Somalis had accused the Minnesota Department of Human Services of racism, and protested outside its offices to pressure it into providing funding for the $250 million ‘Feeding Our Future’ and similarly launched a pressure campaign to sign off on the autism fraud.

Somali community groups set up their own autism treatment centers to provide diverse “culturally appropriate programming” and Somali kids were seven times more likely to receive autism treatment than other children. Whistleblowers at the Minnesota Department of Human Services report that 1 in 5 autism centers in the state are now under investigation.

In the 85 investigations, of the 5 closed cases last year, all of them involved Somalis including apparently Sharmarke Issa, the former chair of the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority who pleaded guilty over his involvement in the Feeding Our Future fraud.

Some of the autism clinics double dipped by also signing up to hand out meals to children. Smart Therapy, one of the autism clinics raided by the FBI, received $13 million from Medicaid and also signed up with Feeding Our Future to get ‘reimbursements’ from the government for allegedly feeding 300 kids a day for seven days a week which by 2021 was up to 500 kids.

The emails listed in the federal complaint appeared to be signed by Aisha Hassan, the CEO and President of Smart Therapy. The autism center was allegedly working with S&S Catering, whose owner Qamar Ahmed Hassan, took in $13 million in government money and then wrote checks to a travel agency specializing in Islamic tours of Mecca as part of the Feeding Our Future fraud. It’s unknown if Qamar Hassan and Asha Hassan are related, but a whistleblower told investigators that another Smart Therapy owner was indeed related to Qamar Hassan.

A Smart Therapy whistleblower stated that the employees were teenage family members of the owners with no training, spent all day on their phones, that the children were not autistic, and that their parents were paid to sign them up for ‘treatment’ with envelopes full of cash.

Star Autism Center, also raided by the FBI, billed Medicaid for 21.5 hours of autism therapy from one therapist in one day. Another billed 23 hours of services in a single day. Star’s organizer, Abdinajib Hassan Yussuf, claimed to know nothing. Both centers billed for treatments being provided by its ‘therapists’ while they were in Kenya (which hosts a large Somali migrant population) and Turkey which serves as a center for Islamic terrorist migration. Including ISIS.

It is difficult to know the full scale of the Somali autism fraud, but troublingly DHS Assistant Commissioner Natasha Merz had claimed that the catastrophic growth of the state’s autism program has been “pretty consistent” with other DHS programs including housing and disability funding. That means that the fraud we know could be only the tip of a massive iceberg.

For example, Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) was budgeted at $2.6 million when it was launched in 2020 but by 2024, was expected to hit $120 million. The sheer scale of welfare fraud under the Walz administration is so severe that hundreds of millions of dollars can easily vanish across the board without anyone even noticing because it’s no longer an aberration.

Under Gov. Tim Walz, it’s become routine for welfare programs to shoot up from the millions to the hundreds of millions. “Well, I think you’re always accountable for when things happen, but I think the accountability piece that we’re going to have to try and understand,” Walz replied, when asked about Minnesota’s spiraling welfare fraud crisis. “The question is, in state government, our job is to carry out the programs to try and get the resources to the people who need them.”

While Gov. Walz may act baffled, he and his political allies in the DFL chose to roll money out the door to Somali groups, while eliminating accountability and avoiding any scrutiny out of fear of racism. Between Attorney General Keith X. Ellison and DHS Inspector General Kulani Moti, a former public defender and the daughter of the first ‘Oromo’ immigrant from East Africa to move to Minnesota, sensitivity has been a priority, rigorous enforcement has not.

Somalis were already caught stealing tens of millions of dollars in various unrelated Medicaid health care frauds including $20 million in fraud in 2023 alone. This year there’s already been a Somali $7 million fraud conviction. But without federal investigations, these are just a fraction of the abuses being caught at the state level, even as the massive systematic fraud goes on.

Somali fraud now appears to equal half the budgets for the Twin Cities. How big can the fraud get before Minnesota runs out of money?

Nitwit Brigade on Parade, Part V

By Rich Kozlovich, Tags:

As I watch the increasing insanity going on in the world, and the stunningly insane things prominent people say one has to wonder if they're certifiable?  Mia Farrow claims Trump is a ‘National Emergency’, because he's deranged, not rational, incapable of running the nation, and is surrounded by yes men, sycophants, and flunkies who are "utterly inept idiots".   Trump is so bad she claimed "that it is Trump who should be locked up, not dangerous members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang".  In March she took a page right out of former Prince Charlie's Global Warming, "Oh noooo, we're all gonna die" book, claiming because of Trump the world had only  three to four months to live.  Well, just like the former Prince, she's an idiot.

Ask yourself, are we better off now than we were a year ago?

Now we have this terrible Minnesota murder of two young Catholic children by a trans character, which was clearly a anti-Catholic hate crime.  And Catholic hate is something the federal government under the three Obama administrations were guilty of, even listing traditional Catholics as domestic terrorists.   Especially those Catholics that favor the Latin mass.

As Monica Showalter reported in April of 2023, the FBI was infiltrating Catholic Churches, investigating “Radical Traditional Catholics.” What made them radical, a threat worthy of the time and energy of the FBI? They like the Latin Mass. No doubt a distinction ferreted out by “experts.” FBI Director Christoper Wray professed shock—it was only one field office—and promised the investigation was shut down, until he had to admit it was several field offices, and maybe it really wasn’t so shut down after all.

Wow!  You can see how radical and dangerous that is to the nation.   Right?

Do you remember when on September 23, 2022 at 6:45 a.m., the the FBI found this family dangerous enough to invade their home with  armed FBI agents, rifles in hand invading the home of Mark Houck, a Catholic Pro-Life activist, terrorizing his family of seven children and arrested him.  Are we really to believe the FBI was convinced they needed Gestapo/SWAT tactics to arrest this father of seven with no criminal record?  After all, you never know what that many children might do to big tough fully armed agents.  Do you think they were sending a message?  You bet they were!

With all the hateful hyperbole by the Obama/Biden cabal against Catholics is it any wonder a mentally troubled man who thought he was a woman, and who hated Trump and wanted to kill him, acted out on all that hateful activity by the previous administration?   And this followed a previous shooting the day before at the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Minneapolis killing one person an wounding six others.

But not according to Mia, not all that hate spewed out by the Democrats had anything to do with this, and not the fact Independent and Catholic schools begged Governor Waltz for help to make their schools safe.  Oh, no, it's the Republican's fault.   It's the Republican's fault.

As it turns out this monster is one of theirs.

He was gay/trans, hates Trump, violent and deranged, and given the insane things their base is doing I'm betting he represents the psychological profile of a substantial number of Democrats.  But who can find fault with Mia's musings.  How about anyone sane?

When Mia talks it makes you wonder if it's possible she might be one of the ‘repulsive’ liberals driving people away from Democrats Jimmy Kimmel is talking about?   Which is really rich, you know, Jimmy Kimmel, the man who lives in a bizarro mentally unfit world where "fake is real, and real is fake."  And he's concerned about "repulsive liberals".

Is there any other kind?

Judicial Boundaries Need to be Imposed

By Rich Kozlovich

The Supreme Soviet of Minnesota, aka, the Minnesota Supreme Court, has decided the interior of your car is a “public place if it is driven on public roads."  Okay, if that's a valid interpretation of the Fourth Amendment against "unreasonable search and seizures by the government", then perhaps the government should be allowed to search any private property without a warrant that borders on public streets, calling that property "public space"?  Or perhaps your wallet, a suitcase, a briefcase, or anything you're carrying on while walking on a public sidewalk next to a public street should also be considered "public space"?  Right?

How does this kind of insanity become policy?  How can any American jurist believe such nonsense?  How does judicial corruption such as this infest the thinking of America's judiciary?

I’ve been organizing my draft files and came across this piece written by Andrea Widburg in 2023, America’s top law schools are openly abandoning the Constitution.  While academia has become a festering sore on the body America, academia’s law schools are a cancer. These institutions have abandoned the rule of law and openly support rule by judicial tyranny, and this is the time for a constitutional confrontation with the judiciary.

The Constitution says it’s the Congress who decides the jurisdiction of the federal judiciary, and it’s time they exercised that power. Furthermore, there needs to be sanctions on jurists who exceeded their authority and twist logic and reality like a pretzel to fit their vision of how the world should work. And that sanction should be the ability to fire them, and not with things like a two thirds vote (67 Senators) in support of impeachment, which is now unattainable in the Senate.

It's time Congress stops sitting with the thumbs and pass legislation that creates punishments for radical out of control judges.  They may have lifetime appointments, but I don't see anything in the Constitution that prevents the Congress from imposing penalties for conduct where the judiciary exceeds their jurisdiction.  And again....it's the Congress that determines their jurisdiction, not the judiciary.

The English Barons forced King John to sign the Magna Carta saying there had to be limits to his power. Congress needs a Magna Carta for the judiciary, i.e., a Constitutional Amendment for term limits, and that amendment needs to define the boundaries of the federal judiciary's authority. Term limits and the definition of the power of SCOTUS was a failure on the part of the Founding Fathers which needs fixing.

Minnesota is just a symptom of a national chronic infection in the judiciary, but not only in the United States.  When it comes to making judgements against Trump's policies, it seems to be an international infection.

Remarkable, perhaps he didn't get the memo.  Joe Biden isn't President any longer, and this judge has no say in the matter, just like so many of these judges in the United States that think they are going to determine policy for the federal government.  And that includes this foreign born Muslim who Biden appointed as a Federal District judge, says Trump has not complied with his ruling on Trump's suspension of foreign aid saying:

“The Court was not inviting Defendants to continue the suspension while they reviewed contracts and legal authorities to come up with a new, post-hoc rationalization for the en masse suspension.........”

This judge has ordered the resumption of hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign aid all over the world, way beyond his judicial authority, and the administration has appealed his ruling.  It seems to me that alone should obviate his decisions until the case has run it's course.

It appears an Egyptian judge has decided he will determine American policy, and has ordered Trump to unfreeze aid to Egypt!    The latest good news is SCOTUS has temporarily blocked this lunatic's order, and it's time for SCOTUS to stop sitting on their hands and bring this to a screeching halt.... permanently!

All these leftist Anti-American judge's rulings are a part of a national effort by leftists to handcuff the President, and those he appoints from doing their Constitutionally mandated jobs, forcing the administration to waste money, and preventing the administration from seeing where that money is going and to whom.  These arrogant misfit judges need to be told to shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Perhaps the President needs to send an official letter, signed by as many members of Congress as are willing, telling SCOTUS and each and every federal judge these rulings are out of bounds, they're out of control, and any further rulings inappropriately interfering with Executive privileges and responsibilities will be considered a seditious effort to undermine the boundaries created in the Constitution between the three branches of government, and action will be taken.

It's time for a Constitutional confrontation.

Gov. Walz’s Legacy is That Majority of Students Can No Longer Read

Test scores in Minnesota hit a 30 year low under the former high school teacher.

Daniel Greenfield @ Sultan Knish Blog

Gov. Tim Walz has made much of being a former high school teacher in his political campaigns. The DNC brought out former students of his on stage and the media has rolled out adulatory stories claiming that Walz’s time as a teacher will help him shape America’s education policy.

The recent release of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA) test scores for 2024 by Education Commissioner Willie Jett, a Walz appointee, were described by the Minnesota Star Tribune as “stagnant with only about half of students meeting or beating grade-level standards in math and reading.” The paper struggled to describe an empty glass as half-full.

The actual numbers showed that 49.9% of Minnesota students reached grade-level proficiency standards in reading, only 45.5% did so in math and only 39.6% managed it in science: a more accurate description would be that well less than half of Walz’s school students are proficient.

The educational glass in Minnesota isn’t half full, it’s more than half empty.

A majority of Minnesota students aren’t proficient in math or science and a little less than half can read at grade level. These are catastrophic numbers that show a school system that has failed at its most fundamental function despite billions of dollars in runaway spending.

The already terrible 2024 test scores are much worse when viewed in historical context.

In 2017, the year before the election that put Walz in charge of Minnesota, solid majorities of students were proficient in reading and math, and even science scores in the state were passable. Walz however ran as an educator and promised that he could do better.

In 2017, 59% of Minnesota students tested as proficient in math. By 2024, that number had dropped catastrophically by more than 13% down to 45.5%.

In 2017, 60% of students had tested as proficient at grade level in reading. Under Gov. Walz, those numbers have fallen to 49.9%.

In 2017, 54% of students met or exceeded test scores in science. By 2024, only 39.6% did for a decline of 14%.

The respective double digit education declines of 13%, 10% and 14% under Gov. Walz have taken test scores to some of the worst numbers in the state in thirty years.

And these numbers don’t tell the whole story of how bad things are in Minnesota. One analysis found that there were 19 schools in the state where not a single student was proficient in math.

Some of this can be attributed to Gov. Walz’s decision to pander to his teachers’ union allies in EM by shutting down schools and curtailing the education of a generation, but not all of it.

Pre-pandemic test scores were already showing declines and Gov. Walz has had years to turn around pandemic educational failures, but the former teacher who ran twice on fixing education failed to lay out any practical vision for turning around the failed public school system.

Test scores have been consistently falling since Walz took office. Math scores only improved by 1% since the pandemic and reading scores have been in freefall, declining year by year even since the pandemic and last year fell for the first time underwater below the halfway mark.

While Gov. Walz’s decision to close schools was disastrous, but things have gotten worse since. In his 2022 race, he ran on promises to further increase education spending. His campaign featured a commercial claiming that “as a former teacher, Governor Walz does what’s right for our kids.” But doing right meant throwing more money at political allies running a failed system.

The massive $2.2 billion education spending bill passed by Minnesota Democrats last year officially brought up spending to $7,281 per pupil, but not only is there little evidence that the per pupil spending ratio leads to improved education outcomes with some schools in the state that have been spending as much as $31,000 per student producing zero percent proficiency, but much of the money actually went to putting more of Education Minnesota (EM) teachers’ union members along with more administrators, school nurses and social workers on the payroll, and enacting a controversial “ethnic studies” program that critics say brings racism into schools.

A year later, most Minnesota students still can’t handle math, science or reading.

“My messages to families, to students, to teachers, to support staff is, ‘This is the budget for many of us who taught for decades,’ this is the budget we’re waiting for,” Gov. Walz bragged “This is the transformational moment.” It was transformational for everyone except students.

Gov. Walz and his party chose to spend $6 million on ethnic studies while students were struggling with basic skills. $135 million was spent paying ‘unemployment’ for workers off for the summer. Rather than funding schools, much of the new money funded social services, free meals, family social workers and even drug overdose prevention medications on site.

Minnesota Democrats have camouflaged social welfare spending and benefits for union members as educational spending, but there’s no sign that students have benefited from it.

The state’s powerful educational unions have claimed that Democrats are better for education, but test scores in reading hit a high of 74% and math scores hit a high of 64.7% under former Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a Republican, and have been declining ever since.

Gov. Walz was following the policies of a party that took reading test scores down from 74% to 49.4% and math test scores from 64.7% down to 45.5%.

Behind the numbers is the reality that 3 out of 4 students used to be proficient in reading, now less than 2 in 4 are, and 6 out of 10 students could count, now only 4 out of 10 still can.

What will happen to those two illiterate students and those six students who can’t count?

The Walz campaign claimed that he wanted to make “Minnesota the best state in the country for kids.” But in his second term in office, the kids of Minnesota can’t read, count or do anything.

The governor inherited majority proficiency rates in education in Minnesota and brought them down to less than half. That record may have more bearing on his education policy than his past working as a teacher.

Gov. Walz’s actual educational legacy is that a majority of students can no longer read.

Will the Real Tim Walz Please Stand Up!

By Rich Kozlovich

Yesterday I published this piece on Walz's stolen honor, entitled, Duty, Honor, Integrity, Valor!, but that's just the tip of the iceberg of the character of Tim Walz, and that character isn't pretty.  So let's explore the other issues surrounding Walz in order to find out who the real Tim Walz truly is.  The one they're trying to whitewash, or the one who has a track record that's despicable?

The Democrat party VP pick process by the Kamala and her cabal was a mess, and since it was Eric Holder who was allegedly in charge of that effort, we shouldn't be surprised.  Far left, and big on dumb.   And Katie Pavlich says, look who's taking credit for Kamala's VP Pick.  The Democrat Socialists of America

There's a ton of dirt on Walz, some of which I'm going to cover today, and it's not going over well with Americans, and seemingly not with Democrats either.  While I don't believe in polls, this one is really startling, as it claims only 17% of Americans have a positive view of her choice.....that's a lot of Democrat discontent.

Harris and Walz Go for Mainstream - These two radicals hope to fool America into thinking they’re reasonable.

Of course Nancy Pelosi, with her sharp intellect and uncanny rational grasp of reality assures us that Tim Walz, Kamala's radical leftist pick, is right "down the middle” of America, in spite of his view that the red states are nothing by rocks and cows.  Kinda like a Hillary's "deplorables", a slap in the face of vast numbers of Americans whose votes she needed, and didn't get.  While Minnesota isn't a "Red State" it is a sparsely populated agricultural state....full of cows and rocks.  Is that what he thinks of Minnesota also?

Then there's that brilliant political mind, that amazing reincarnation of RFK, Beto O'Rourke.  He told another mega mind, Jen Psaki, Texas could possibly be in play because... and get this.... because Harris and Walz are creating so much excitement the Democrats are filled with joy, and "electricity moving through the system."  So much so he thinks they have the ability to impact the down ticket so much they're going to take back the House of Representatives.  And of course, Jen was pleased as punch.   I wonder what he knows?  Is he in the voter fraud underground movement and has the inside track on their efforts?  Just a thought.

But in spite of being called a coward by his military comrades, Bloomberg writer, Francis Wilkinson, claims “Tim Walz’s Masculinity Is Terrifying to Republicans",  as he's a Democrat gun hunting horse back riding Ronald Reagan.  Remarkable!!!!

Well, over at American Thinker, where the word think actually means what says, Olivia Murray, says Walz’s alleged ‘traditional masculinity’ isn't a threat to Republicans and "In fact it’s the exact opposite—we despise him for lacking it."....... "So he totes a gun and wears camo? That’s called a costume, and it’s that charade that disgusts us." And that's the mild part of her commentary.

Minnesota

Spencer Brown reports that  Tim Walz is anything but ‘Minnesota Nice’ saying: Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, now Kamala Harris’ running mate, is a harmless, folksy midwestern fella — according to breathless mainstream media coverage. To millions of Minnesotans, however, Gov. Walz and his alleged normal-guy leadership has been a big government disaster. Beyond growing questions about Walz’s military record — which he should answer with definitive proof or apologize for such disqualifying lies — the governor of the North Star State (frozen homeland of this writer) has a radical record he needs to explain.....

Minnesota Gov. Walz bans police training for 'excited delirium' - By Eric Utter June 8, 2024 -  According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, also known as the New World’s Pravda, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has signed a law prohibiting training for licensed police officers on “excited delirium.”You may well be asking yourself, “Say what?”Star Tribune: “Excited delirium usually refers to a person possessed by a potentially deadly form of agitation, sometimes abetted by drug abuse, and displaying aggressive behavior, profuse sweating, public nudity, mouth foaming and superhuman strength.”

Democrats Go Long on ‘Tampon Tim’ and Transing the Kids - Leftists are horrified that people might find it stupid to stock boys’ bathrooms with menstrual products.....

Minnesota, which has voted for these leftist nitwits for 50 years, but perhaps Minnesota isn't that pleases with Walz either.

Minnesota House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth (R) called Kamala Harris and Tim Walz "the most extreme ticket in recent presidential history." She took Walz apart.

Gov. Walz likes to tout his legislative achievements from the past two years of one-party Democratic control, but voters need to know the real story. The last two years featured some of the most extreme and irresponsible policies we’ve ever seen in our state: $10 billion dollars in tax increases, an unsustainable and unaffordable 40 percent increase in state spending, New fees on your online orders, massive cost increases for your Uber and Lyft rides, expensive and extreme energy mandates that will drive up the electric bills for you and your family, and even a gas tax increase that goes up automatically every single year!

She also pointed out among other things that Walz signed a bill "to give illegal immigrants free tuition, drivers licenses, and even health benefits, making Minnesota a magnet for illegal immigration" and let the BLM riots in 2020 get out of control, that resulted in all kinds of injuries, even deaths, and millions in damages before he was "forced to respond."

Then we have this bit of leftist brilliance,  ‘One Person’s Socialism Is Another Person’s Neighborliness’! Which Andrea Widburg says:

Tim Walz is the Id of the Democrat party, an open advocate for socialism and everything that comes with it: socialized medicine, an essentially nationalized economy, the end of the hydrocarbon usage that makes the modern world possible, a feminized military, a pro-Iranian foreign policy, a war on sexual norms and (by extension) on children, unlimited abortion, and racism. Always, always racism, including a drive to re-segregate America after all the efforts we made to desegregate it. That last point makes it incredibly ironic that one of Walz’s newly famous statements about socialism echoes South Africa’s “Architect of Apartheid.”.......

And he calls Trump a fascist who is a threat to Democracy, and yet supports Biden-Harris’s big 3 gun control policies. There's a reason for this old maxim: "You can vote into Socialism, but have to shoot your way out."

Update, 8/14/24: Minnesota Grandma Jailed Over COVID Lockdown Warns Walz ‘Will Take Your Rights Away’ - A Minnesota grandma and former business owner who was jailed for defying lockdown orders during the coronavirus pandemic warned that Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) “will take” Americans “rights away.” In an interview with Fox News, Lisa Hanson, who owned the Interchange Wine & Coffee Bistro in Albert Lea, explained how after watching Walz allow businesses such as “big-box stores” to reopen while keeping “mom-and-pop” businesses shuttered, she decided to defy the lockdown orders and ended up serving a 60-day jail sentence and receiving a $1,000 fine.........

Antisemitic

Why didn't Kamala's cabal pick Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) for her running mate.  Well, here's one answer.  It was claimed a poll showed he wouldn't have helped her win the election, in spite of the fact he has a 77% approval rating in Pennsylvania.  Polls are really to be trusted....right?

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who you might think would be the logical pick for a couple of reasons: he could help the race in Pennsylvania -- which Harris has to win to have any chance -- and he is more moderate, so that could help Harris seem more moderate.

Oh, no!  No moderates in the party representing "democracy" in America.  Or, then again, there's this possibility, just a shot in the dark mind you, but it's possibly.....just possible mind you..... there's are real stench of antisemitism controlling them party, and Kamala is an antisemite.  Both she and the party wanted a like mind as her running mate.  The fact of the matter is Harris and Walz deserve each other, as "Walz’s political career reveals the true him. Timidity and pandering are the hallmarks of his governorship."

Just a guess or course, but it does seem to be a strange coincidence she met with pro-Hamas activists at the disastrous Detroit rally where she made the announcement.   Does that seem telling to anyone except me?  Or you really believe there are coincidences in politics?

After all, Shapiro may have embraced totally unacceptably favorable views about Israel's continued existence.  Imagine that.  Not to mention he's entirely too Jewish. Can't have that in a party that's younger members are getting more extreme by the day, and part of their extremism is the level of antisemitism they've embraced, which isn't inert or passive.

There are those who claim Jews are a spent political force with the Democrats, as Harris caters to Muslims in Michigan promoting an arms embargo to Israel, and Walz plays footsie with Hamas, and praised a Hitler supporting Imam as ‘Master Teacher’.   Nothing scary there....right?  What could possibly go wrong?

Update, 8/14/24: News of Tim Walz Hosting Pro-Hitler Imam Gets Worse With Unearthed Footage - This article has been updated to include how even CNN has covered the scandal involving Walz and Imam Zaman. Last Friday, days after he was selected as Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, it was reported that Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) had hosted Asad Zaman, an imam who spoke out against Israel on October 7 and shared pro-Hitler propaganda. While the Harris-Walz campaign claimed that Walz had no personal relationship with Zaman, a new report is out showing otherwise..........

Yet, what will we find after the election?   We're going to find America's Jews will still vote for the defenestration of Israel, and their continued abuse here in America.   Jews are arguably the smartest people on the planet.  They've also been the most successful ethnic group in history, in spite of the fact they've been abused, discriminated against, decimated, and done so for thousands of years.  I keep asking, how can they be so stupid?

China Connection

There's a China connection with Tim Walz, and it's one I don't understand, and it's a connection I think should be explored, and we'll come back to the issue of George Floyd.

Was Teacher in China at time of Tiananmen Square…Walz is also likely to come under fire from the right for two culture war issues he found himself in the middle of: expanding vaccinations across the state during the Covid-19 pandemic, and dealing with the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd, a Black man whose death at the hands of police sparked nationwide protests

Exclusive: Seven Troubling Tim Walz Connections to Communist China - Minnesota Governor and Vice-Presidential hopeful Tim Walz has an abnormal relationship with China. “No matter how long I live, I will never be treated that well again…it was an excellent experience,” Walz said upon his return from the first of many trips there. Walz claims that his Chinese hosts lavished him with “more gifts than I could bring home.”

Update, 8/14/24, 4:00 PM: I had stated in the article there was something odd about his China connection that I didn't understand, but it should be investigated. Well, apparently that was done, and guess what, if true, it ain't pretty and in my mind constitutes treason and potentially spying.  Schweizer: Tiananmen Tim Tied to CCP ‘Secret Police Stations’ in USA  Kidnap Critics of CommunistsTies between the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) are becoming more alarming, with Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer revealing that the VP hopeful is connected to “secret police stations that the Chinese have here in the United States.” During Schweizer’s latest appearance on Breitbart News Daily, Walz was accused of being connected to a group called Minnesota Global that is allegedly tied to a secret Chinese police station in the Twin Cities:..........

Corruption

  • Judged Warned Tim Walz to Stop Lying About $250 Million Fraud by Somalis - Ramsey County District Court Judge John Guthmann in 2022 admonished Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) for making “inaccurate” and “false” statements in claiming he forced the governor to continue making payments to the scandal-ridden Feeding Our Future nonprofit, which is at the center of a scheme to steal $250 million from a coronavirus-era welfare program.
  • Past DUI Arrest Continues to Hound After Conflicting Claims - Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), who emerged Tuesday as Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, will likely face new scrutiny over a 1995 DUI arrest after court records emerged to suggest he had misled the public about the case.  Walz, who was living in Nebraska at the time, was pulled over for drunk driving. He eventually reached a plea deal and admitted to reckless driving. The issue surfaced in later political campaigns, but Walz said he had not been drunk......
  • Update, 8/15/24: CNN Hits Walz for False Claims About DUI Arrest in 1995 -CNN reported Thursday that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s 2006 congressional campaign lied about his arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) in 1995....
Wow!  And this was covered by CNN?  That goes to show that even a blind monkey can find a coconut once in a while, or then again, perhaps because they're going out of business if things keep going as they are CNN is trying to create a new image?  Nah, this is an anomaly, and even if it isn't nothing will save them.

Have no doubt, the riot the burned Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd, who was a thug, and he wasn’t murdered, falls right in the lap of Tim Walz, who would happily allow that to the rest of America, with support from Kamala and the Democrat party.
Policies

There's so many things wrong with this man.  Unfettered immigration is national suicide, and he supports it.  Freedom of speech is the guarantor of a free society, he's against it.  Race hustling is destroying the fabric of America, he supports it.  Climate change, formally global warming until warming pattern stopped 25 years ago, is the greatest scientific fraud perpetrated on humanity since the Theory of Evolution, followed closely by the covid tyranny.

Immigration?

We own illegal aliens a ‘debt of gratitude’. As  Olivia Murray says: Only a progressive Democrat would argue that inferior cultures, rape, and murder are something for which to be thankful.

Censorship

To understand how extreme Walz’s leftism is, look at his take on the First Amendment August 8, 2024 by Andrea Widburg As is typical for all totalitarians, he wants to police “wrongthink” that challenges government power.

Global Warming
  • Walz’ Climate Record Should Sound Alarms for American Energy Security - If mad scientists went to a secret lab to create a climate clone of Kamala Harris on energy policy, they’d be thrilled if the new handiwork ended up looking – and acting – like Tim Walz.......wants to decarbonize his state.......He signed a 100 percent carbon-free electrical standard by 2040, and tied his state’s emission standards to California’s. He did so despite the fact that nearly 70 percent of Minnesota’s current energy mix comes from traditional energy sources.  Now, Tim Walz wants to be your next Vice President, and bring those ideals to America at large......
  • Doubling down on climate dogma as Kamala Harris chooses Walz as sidekick  - Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party’s nominee for president, chose her successor, Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota, now serving his second term in the Gopher State. The climate religion is more rampant than ever in one of the two major political parties in the U.S., and no apostates are allowed. In that sense, any of the names considered by Ms. Harris would have been an on-the-record devotee to the issue. If you are all in on the climate agenda, you will not be disappointed with Gov. Walz as Vice President. America, beware. We warned in 2020, and we do so again.
  • Governor Tim Walz is a net-zero zealot - “Climate change impacts lives and livelihoods in every corner of our state…Minnesota will continue to lead the way in combatting climate change, and we’ll create clean energy jobs in the process. This bill is an essential investment in our future that will continue to pay off for generations to come.” ......
Race

Identity Politics - Bad for America, But Good for Democrats  - With history as our guide, if the elections were held today on a scale from 1 to 100, the Democrats would already have a 9 to 1 lead over former President Donald Trump. In our model, 10% would represent the Black vote and 90% would be the non-Black (predominately white) vote. This is not based on issues or records but solely on identity politics. Can this change?............

Update, 8/14/24:
  • Walz Slammed for ‘Hesitating’ to Send in Guard as His Daughter Tipped Off Rioters via Social Media  - "To be clear, the national guard will not be present tonight."  Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey was critical of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s response to the unrest in his city in May 2020, saying later that year that the governor hesitated to send the National Guard as the city burned in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death. Frey spoke out about Walz’s response during an August 2020 interview with the Star Tribune, telling the outlet his office made multiple dire requests for National Guard resources to the governor that were not granted until after the city was forced to abandon a besieged police precinct ........... According to the Senate committee report, around the same time the National Guard was being mobilized and starting to arrive in Minneapolis, the governor’s daughter, Hope Walz, was given “access” to “confidential information that she then disseminated to the general public and rioters
It appears the entire Walz family suffers from a serious case of "weird".

Transgenderism

Tim Walz Signed Law to Strip Children of Parental Protections - Gov. Tim Walz signed a law that strips parental protections from out-of-state teenagers and children who claim to want irreversible transgender medical treatment in Minnesota. He also signed laws that install tampon-dispensing machines in K-12 schools to broadcast the state’s claim that teenage girls can choose their legal sex, and also a law that allows pedophilia to be someday legally protected under existing state anti-discrimination laws.............

The Democrats latest meme is that Republicans are "weird", really weird.  But the fact is with the exception of now disgraced RINO's, the Democrats almost have a monopoly on weird, and the 'Chief Weirdo is Tim Walz'.

And Donald Trump says, ‘THANK YOU!’ to Kamala Harris

  • Discover the Networks has this history of Tim Walz.  It's extensive, and it's not pretty.  There is not one corrosive, destructive, and far left Anti-America theme he's not embraced, including giving nuclear arms to Iran. Here,  The Real Tim Walz

Minnesota’s Failed Class-Warfare Tax Policy

Writing about Mitt Romney’s selection of Paul Ryan in 2012, I opined that, “…it probably means nothing. I don’t think there’s been an election in my lifetime that was impacted by the second person on a presidential ticket.”

I feel the same way about Tim Walz, who is Kamala Harris’ pick for Vice President.

But since several readers have asked me my opinion on the Minnesota governor, I’ll give my two cents.

The first thing to understand is that Minnesota has bad tax policy. It is one of only nine states receiving the lowest-possible grade in my tax ranking.

And if there was a an even-worse category, Minnesota might be eligible, particularly since Gov. Walz pushed through more class-warfare tax policy last year.

No wonder he received a failing grade from Chris Edwards’ Fiscal Policy Report Card on America’s Governors (one of only eight governors to “earn” an F).

Other experts also have not been impressed. Jared Walczak of the Tax Foundation has an assessment of Governor Walz’s tax policy. Here are some highlights, though lowlights may be a better description.

Most states have cut taxes at least once since 2021… Twenty-eight states have cut individual income tax rates, fifteen states have cut corporate income tax rates… Under Gov. Tim Walz (DFL), Minnesota has been an outlier, one of the few states to raise taxes in recent years… Under Walz, Minnesota became the only state to impose a surtax on the long-term capital gain income and other net investment income of high earners (all other states tax long-term capital gains at ordinary income tax rates or even preferential rates).

Walz also signed legislation partially phasing out the benefit of standard and itemized deductions for high earners… Minnesota has doubled down on its status as a high-tax state even as most states have moved in a different direction. That may go some way toward explaining the state’s lackluster economic performance of late: in the past year, employment only grew by 0.7 percent in Minnesota, ranking 42nd nationwide. Net outmigration to other states is 6th highest for households with $200,000 or more in income, and 8th highest in terms of net outflow of income from all households.

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal has a disapproving editorial on Walz’s tax policies.

Private industries have lost jobs, including finance, information, professional and business services, retail, manufacturing and leisure and hospitality. …Manufacturing employment has declined by 7,500 over the past 12 months, while professional and business services have shed 22,700 jobs. This is especially notable since Mr. Walz last spring signed a giant tax increase, including a 1% surcharge on investment income over $1 million. …Minnesota’s top rate is 9.85% not counting his one-percentage point surcharge—which sends the rich or retired out of state. Households with roughly $5 billion in adjusted gross income left Minnesota between 2019 and 2022, according to the most recent IRS data. Minnesota in 2022 ranked eighth in income loss among states as a share of overall AGI… Top destinations for Minnesota refugees include zero-income tax Florida, Texas and South Dakota. South Dakota’s rate of job growth has been more than four times higher than Minnesota’s since Mr. Walz took the helm.

All of this analysis is confirmed by data on migration and changes in taxable income.

Simply stated, Walz is driving productive people (and their money!) out of the state.

Which brings me to the second thing that readers should understand.

Walz is a big spender. Here’s some data from the National Association of State Budget Officers’ most-recent State Expenditure Report.

The burden of government spending has been expanding by average of nearly 12 percent annually in Minnesota. I also included Colorado, which has a liberal governor. But it also has a spending cap, so the budgetary burden has only climbed by an average of about 1.2 percent annually.

The bottom line is that Walz has a terrible track record, but so does Harris, so they are a good match.

By Rich Kozlovich

Here are today's articles and podcasts as posted by 10:20 AM.  I've been impressed with so much of what appears here, but as usual, I don't always agree with authors.  I've taken exception with "My Take", on one article dealing with GMO's, and while I've read this author's pieces in the past and agreed, I put this article on the same par as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his absolutely correct views on the Covid vaccines.  And that's the problem.  He's been an irrational anti-vax nut for years, and this gives inappropriate, and undeserved credibility to the rest of his nutty views.  Since these false vaccines are genetic manipulators, it gives the anti-GMO nitwits inappropriate and underserved credibility on all genetically manipulated products.  I address that below, and with sources, since I've been writing about these immoral GMO misfits for many years.

President Trump Must Expose Operation Warp Speed by - May 1, 2023 = Surely Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, and all their genocide cohorts are smiling broadly. Recent projections suggest they may ultimately achieve their global depopulation goals. But before we lynch President Trump, we must answer a few questions. First, are we truly justified to align President Trump with the likes of eugenics maniacs and sociopaths? Second, how do we construe Trump’s silence on the vaccine issue?........

CCP’s Spider Web-Like United Front Network & Its Rampant Violations of US Sovereignty - by | May 1, 2023 - Dr. Li-Meng Yan w/ The Voice of Dr. Yan – The House select committee on CCP issued a letter to the FBI and DOJ, seeking answers about the FBI’s strategy and efforts in investigating and combating CCP’s secret police stations on American soil. As pointed out at the end of the letter, “US law enforcement agencies must hold these perpetrators to account and better protect the U.S. from further threats.”.............

Genetically Modified Organisms and Your Diet, by | May 1, 2023 - We dedicate this issue of the Report to information about how plants in the food chain are being directly modified to survive herbicide which is widely applied to get rid of competing weeds. Our guest, Steve Smith, will take us through this complicated set of terminology and help us understand what it all means. With his permission, I have adapted this information from his website Institute for Responsible Technology. What is a GMO? GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organism. We can also use genetically modified or genetically engineered..............

My Take I've been writing about GMO's for many years and this piece is simply wrong. He claims there is "as usual collateral damage" for the use of BT, but fails to say what that damage is. However, there has been very real documentation regarding damage perpetrated on humanity by these green misfits due to their resistance to GMO's, especially Golden Rice, which could have saved millions of lives in Asia by adding Vitamin A to their diet.

"It’s one of the world’s most preventable tragedies. Every year, as many as 500,000 children go blind because their diet contains an insufficient amount of vitamin A. Half of these children will die prematurely, typically from diarrhea and measles. Many more will have stunted growth." -

The author needs to seriously re-evaluate his views.  While I agree these false vaccines, which are nothing more than gene altering compounds that haven't been property tested, are clearly dangerous and even deadly, but compounds when properly tested have created grand advances in medicine by gene editing. GMO's Are Not the Problem. They're the Answer! - Not only is GMO resistance unscientific and irrational, it's immoral.

Minnesota Has Become Trans Health Refuge State for Children  -by | May 2, 2023 -  Nurses Out Loud with April Snipes RNFA, BSN, CNOR – Minnesota has joined California in becoming a sanctuary state for minors seeking gender-affirming healthcare. If your child seeks care in Minnesota, you will not be able to get access to them, nor have them extradited and brought back home due to new laws that have been passed. State Rep Leigh Fink is the chief author of HF 1655, a bill that seeks to establish gender identity as a protected category and aims to remove existing legislation that allows for discrimination based on sexual orientation. This includes those who have a sexual attachment to minors. What does this mean for parents?.........

Minnesota's Twisted 'Gender Dysphoria' Policy

February 7, 2023 By Jay Tucker

Teachers are now to provide professional gender-affirming care for students without a required medical license, without parental approval or consent, without securing informed consent, and without conforming to professional standards of care.

Minnesota proposes to require teachers to “ensure” that student gender-identities are “affirmed.”  How would that work?  Let’s say 13-year-old Katie approaches a teacher and informs the teacher that she was born in the wrong body, that she is actually a boy, that she is to be called Ben, and that she needs to have her breasts removed in order to become her authentic self.  According to Item 4E of “The Proposed Standards of Effective Practice” for teachers in Minnesota, the teacher is required to ensure that Katie’s identity is affirmed.  The teacher, however, has no knowledge of Katie’s mental health history, whether she is under the care of licensed gender-care professionals........To Read More....

The Other Blue State

Everyone knows that people are abandoning blue states like California and New York and moving to red states like Florida and Texas. The same phenomenon is at work in smaller states–on a reduced scale, but the pattern is consistent.

Take my home state, Minnesota. For the last seven years, my organization has been documenting the net outflow of residents, and especially taxpayers, from the state. This year, that net out migration has reached a new high (or low). John Phelan reports:

New Census Bureau data show that our state smashed [2021’s] record in 2022. From mid-2021 to mid-2022, 19,400 Minnesota residents left for other states, by far the highest number in at least three decades.

As Figure 1 shows, until 2001 Minnesota received more residents from other states each year than it lost to them. Since then, in all except two years, 2017 and 2018, our state has seen more residents leave than have chosen to come here from elsewhere in the United States. The loss of residents seen in 2021 and 2022 is not a new phenomenon, but the pace of exit is quickening: Minnesotans are fleeing the state in larger numbers.

EXCLUSIVE: Unexplained Ballot Drop in GA Senate Race Likely Prevented Herschel Walker from Winning Race Outright – ‘Drop and Roll’ Pushed Race to Runoff

By Joe Hoft November 10, 2022 3212 Comments

On Tuesday in the 2022 Midterms, the “Drop and Roll” occurred in the Michigan Governor race just like it happened in the 2020 Presidential Election.  It also occurred in the Minnesota Governor’s race.  We now have evidence that it also occurred in the Georgia Senate race stealing the win from Republican Herschel Walker.  The crooks and criminals are stealing US Elections in multiple ways.  One of the biggest ways they stole the 2020 Election for President was the “The Drop and Roll” method.

In the Drop and Roll incidents in the 2020 Election, we identified that at around the point where 90% of the expected ballots were returned, a large batch of ballots was “dropped” with nearly every ballot going to Joe Biden.  These batches were as large as 330,000 ballots for Biden in Virginia at one time........The drops are always in favor of Democrats.............To Read More...

Who Goes to Jail? One Governor’s Perverse Answer

Posted on by John Hinderaker in Crime, Minnesota

We have often written here about Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and, among other things, his irrational response to the COVID virus. His fecklessness (or worse) is now becoming a national story, as in this column by Daniel Horowitz at The Blaze.

Walz is now explicitly threatening to imprison Larvita McFarquhar for the “crime” of trying to feed her family by operating her restaurant, Havens Garden, in a small town in southwestern Minnesota, in defiance of an executive order by Walz that Larvita believes (correctly, I think) to be a violation of her constitutional rights.

Meanwhile, Walz and his Attorney General, Keith Ellison–the only AG in America who has come out in favor of political violence by supporting Antifa–are freeing a gang banger who killed an 11-year-old girl from prison:

On Tuesday, Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison, as part of the state’s Board of Pardons, voted to immediately commute the life sentence of Myon Burrell after he served 18 years for the murder of 11-year-old Tyesha Edwards in 2002. He intended to kill someone else in a gang fight that day, but a stray bullet hit Edwards in the heart while she was in her home doing schoolwork.

In Walz’s view, incarcerating violent criminals is contrary to “science.”.........To Read More....

Minnesota's liberal governor is leading the way testing American liberty

September 3, 2020 By David Smith @ American Thinker

American civil tolerance is now being violated daily in novel and alarming localized ways by a familiar yet modified variation of the "petty tyrant." Arising out of the pandemic smokescreen, states' governors such as Walz (Minn.), Cuomo (N.Y.), Murphy (N.J.), and Whitmer (Mich.) have, through their unilateral abuses of local government process, trounced the federal constitutional rights of the citizens they govern beyond recognition in ways too numerous and egregious to cite.

Taking full advantage of the corporate monopoly on access to and control of free speech, these new petty tyrants effectively mute unwanted civil discourse while breathlessly converting propaganda into truth, faith into fear, initiative into ideology, all while allowing real-world leadership to be replaced with distance cowardice. It is through their continued inaction that American citizens remain unsafe from unabated mob violence while any opposition is suppressed through threats of virtual censorship, cancelation, or even "erasure."

Minnesota was one of the first states to showcase this new method of governance during Governor Timothy Walz's first self-congratulatory quarantine kick off conference. In a bizarre spectacle, minor agency heads of a small Midwestern state, many with no private-sector experience, preened about in the first person, referring to "my agency" and "my staff," culminating in the oxymoronic proclamation by an education department official that "there's no problem a group of educators cannot solve." It was then that people knew they were doomed. No one at that point anticipated how far this little group of state and local appointees could run amok with legislative authority, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights through unilaterally closing schools, shutting down commerce, and curtailing freedoms to assemble and worship. Worst of all was the reckless, irrational, and sustained fear created by Walz, who cited absurd and unscientific mortality predictions of up to 100,000 deaths in Minnesota alone, one of the biggest political blunders ever made, which, when exposed, was blamed on "computer modeling".........To Read More....

Minneapolis neighborhood which vowed NOT to call cops after George Floyd's death is now struggling with a 300-person homeless camp in their local park which has left them feeling unsafe because of drugs

A Minnesota neighborhood where many residents vowed not to call the cops on people in their community following the death of George Floyd, are finding it difficult to come up with alternatives after about 300 homeless people have set up camp in a local park.

Those who live nearby where Floyd was killed at the hands of cops on May 25 welcomed dozens of tents to Powderhorn Park while the displaced people look for permanent accommodation, urging officials not to evict them for now.

But in the past two weeks since they've been using the open space, people living near the park have complained about a heavy flow of traffic keep them up at night as drug dealers. Two people in the encampment have already been taken away in ambulances after overdosing............To Read More.....
