P&D and The Week That Was

Truth is the Sublime Convergence of History and Reality

De Omnibus Dubitandum, (Everything is to be questioned!)

By Rich Kozlovich

Well, it seems clear AOC is running for President in 2028, which should make Little Chuckie Schumer happy since she won't be running against him for his Senate seat.  And the Democrats and their catspaws in the Pravda media will resoundingly proclaim she's remarkably qualified.  Like Whoopie Goldberg claimed Jill Biden should be Surgeon General because she was a great doctor.  Except her degree is in education.

However, AOC graduated cum laude from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in international relations and economics.  And she so impressed potential employers in those fields, she got hired to be a bartender.  What better qualifications could there be to run the world's biggest economy and military?  Right?

But a legitimate military man, Hegseth, is unqualified to be Secretary of Defense. Ya just gotta see the humor in that, and the flack he's taking is hot and heavy against him.  So he must be doing something right, because when a bomber is directly over the target, that's when the flack is the heaviest.

Senator Kennedy recently said the strategy for defeating AOC was to just let her talk, and that she’s the reason they have directions on shampoo bottles. An astute observation.  But…… beyond that …… the Democrat party has ….. baggage…. lot’s of baggage. Baggage she, or whomever they choose will have to defend, and the Pravda media can’t bail them now since no one cares or believes what they say. In my view the only concern Republicans have is voter fraud.

The back room boys know they’ll have to get Scotty to replicate and beam down hundreds of thousands of false ballots to win with their bench. Cory Booker, Gavin Newsom, AOC, Buttigieg, Walz, Rahm Emanuel, Kamala, Jasmine Crockett, and Josh Shapiro. What a bench.  It will be interesting to watch how they overcome all that baggage, and each other.

I think this cartoon defines their situation. No leader, no message, and no agenda.  Rude, crude, and stupid isn't a winning strategy.

What’s interesting is Trump has only been in office for three months, an incredible three months I might add, and we’re already talking about the 2028 election.

Wow!  A major announcement!  It's possible life been discovered on a distant planet!  Nah, as you read this it becomes obvious what they really found was nothing. On a personal note, I love all this kind of stuff, but so what? Here’s what it’s really about. Funding. Ya can’t keep getting billions of dollars and find nothing. And when they find something, it still turns out to be nothing. But nothing can be reinforced with speculation, which makes nothing look like something, and something generates a lot of talk. And a lot of talk generates funding, which really is something.

Pope Francis has died, and we're seeing accolades pour in, and we're seeing history being cited about who he supported and what he supported, that are not so laudatory.  Unlike the type of responses vile leftist cretins spew out when a conservative passes,  conservatives will not be dancing in the streets over his passing, and no one should.  Having said that, I have huge files on just about everything that faces humanity to use as source pieces, and I will have my own commentary on his history.  History is everything, and history will not be kind to this Pope.  As Archbishop Carlo Maria ViganĂ², a very traditional Catholic who he had excommunicated says, "he will have to account for the crimes he's committed."

Recently Little Chuckie Schumer who is desperate to get back into the good graces of the radical base stated that if Trump “disobeys” SCOTUS there will be consequences", which is rich since during the Obama and Biden administrations they went out of their way to get the most radical and corrupt political hacks appointed to the federal bench, and then threatened anyone who disobeys their corrupt rulings.

For those interested, I’ve tried to keep track of all these judges and their decisions. The rot is deeper, farther, and wider than we realized until now.   There are two options to fix this effort in judicial insurrection.   Congress steps in and exerts their Constitution authority to determine the jurisdiction of the courts, which the judiciary has been unconstitutionally usurping by making up the rules over jurisdiction to enhance their power without Congressional input or approval, and that needs to be brought to an end.

If that doesn’t happen I have to believe in order to save the nation the Trump administration will have to invoke the Jacksonian strategy. “They made their decisions, now let them enforce them.”  No matter what clabber these judges spew out, the Constitution gives the federal judiciary no enforcement authority at all. Constitutionally all enforcement authority is in the domain of the Executive.  All of which needs to be followed up with a Constitutional amendment that imposes term limits and more clearly defines the jurisdiction of the courts.

I have nine posts of my own and twenty three by others today.  I've really devoted most of my efforts on the Pravda media, and I think you will find them worth a look or two.

My very best wishes to all those of good will and honest hearts.

Harris on Swanky Circuit to Raise Funds and Test the Waters

The former veep is taking a temperature for 2028.

by | Apr 23, 2025 @ Liberty Nation News, Tags: Articles, Opinion, Politics

The poster child for what not to do when running for president is seeking attention from the Democratic Party’s biggest donors. Tapped to headline an elitist event with exorbitant ticket prices on May 6, former Vice President Kamala Harris will be testing her appeal for a possible 2028 presidential run. By all accounts, it is a show-and-tell interview with Democratic National Committee chair Ken Martin. A sellout might mean she is still the “it” girl for the progressive voter. Still, someone else is already on the campaign trail wooing the socialist-minded members of the electorate: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

A proposed meeting between Harris and Martin has been brewing for a while – a lesson learned from 2024 when the party allowed a cognitively declining Joe Biden to wait until there was no time to find another candidate. The former veep has teased a decision, which will be made by the end of summer, on what her political aspirations include, unless retirement is on the list of possibilities. Martin knows what’s on the line, and if that entails pushing Harris across the line or out the back door, it needs to be settled sooner rather than later.

The event is a typical elitist party powwow in the Big Apple with two levels of participation. Ticket prices for “building the opposition” start at $25,000. The higher tier, dubbed “fighting for the future,” costs $44,300.

Does Harris Have the Chops for a Campaign?

Kamala is a dismal campaigner at best and has run two presidential races without knowing how to do it. In 2020, the then-senator from California couldn’t get any traction in her state and dropped out before she could call Joe Biden a “racist” twice. She was installed as Biden’s running mate because she checked all the perfect boxes for optics. Poor performance and dereliction of duty – for not invoking the 25th Amendment – left her with no time to become a better candidate once Joe was put out to Rehoboth Beach for a long nap.

As we can all attest, Donald Trump beat her handily. Because the Democratic Party was in a free fall, rumors were flying, and Kamala refused to do much to make herself president. After the one debate with Trump, her numbers looked promising. But somehow, Harris campaigned even less than Biden did during the pandemic. This is not how to win the biggest contest of them all.

Liberty Nation depends on the support of our readers.

The former presidential candidate cannot rest on her name ID and laurels – scant as they are. Doing combat with radical progressives who have increasingly caused chaos for the old guard will be the job of the next candidate. It is a matter of time until a leader emerges who can mend the fractured party or do exactly what Trump did when he redefined the GOP as MAGA. Speaker Emerita, as Sen. Nancy Pelosi calls herself, is being pushed out, right along with Sen. Chuck Schumer, as the energy of under-40 radical left voters digs deeper in every election.

Harris Is Slipping

Recently, news outlet The Hill released a list of the ideal candidates for 2028. Kamala was sixth behind California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro. Topping the list was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Like her, respect her, or hate her, she is exciting in the political arena, and she’s gallivanting around with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on the catchily phrased “Fighting Oligarchy” tour. Sanders has anointed AOC to lead the charge as his mentee. Even pollster Nate Silver of now-defunct FiveThirtyEight is interested: “I mean, look, in polls, if she were to run — try to primary Chuck Schumer, she is now ahead in those polls, and New York Democrats are actually a pretty moderate lot.”

Kick Back and Ditch the Matrix

David Hogg, now the DNC vice chair, is getting tired of the old folks: “We need a better Democratic Party and need to get rid of the democrats in safe seats who do not understand what is at stake right now, who are asleep at the wheel, not meeting the moment, and are a liability now and to the future of our party.” Hogg has made noise about shaking things up, and AOC seems to be the woman who can do it. If nothing else, that girl can campaign and fundraise.

Perhaps the DNC fundraiser event will help Kamala move into whatever she would like to do next. It’s unclear if Harris will run for anything – well, once bitten, and you know the rest. But remember, this is a test and only a test.

Elections, and the Democrats Have Baggage.

A nation in which one administration can allow millions of unvetted illegal migrants into the country, but requires that a court vet each deportation decision in an individually adjudicated case will soon lose the values our democratic system was intended to preserve. -  Bill Ackman

By Rich Kozlovich

Reports are the Democrats are going to double and triple down on critical race theory, gender ideology, no immigrant should be detained, the Jews are bad, and Trump supporters should be hanged as their platform for the 2028 election.  They actually believe that will swing them right back into power.  And they're not alone in that fantasy as even Never-Trump Republicans are predicting a huge comeback.

Interesting mind set since just like their myrmidons in the Pravda media, their numbers are cratering, but they have nothing else to offer, and if they change, taking a more moderate or conservative tact, Democrats might as well become Republicans.

All those who've been around Biden for all these years had to know that, he was a nitwit.  The evidence has been abundant for years, and yet those people chose him as their go to relief pitcher to be their candidate for President of the United States in 2020.  Just think now bad the rest of their bench is.

AOC clearly wants to be President, after all, she graduated cum laude from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in international relations and economics, which so impressed potential employers she became a bartender.   Since Joe wasn't even smart enough to be a bartender, and the Democrats thought he was smart enough to be President, why not AOC?  And.....I want everyone to remember that I said this first...... RFK, Jr. will be running to be the Democrat nominee in 2028.

Another favorite of mine is that great intellectual and moral giant, Michael Moore, with his latest rant filled with logical fallacies claiming one of these deported illegal migrant children might have cured cancer, or stopped an asteroid from hitting the planet.  But then again, maybe they wouldn't.   But if he can show us which ones would be able to do that, we'll keep them.

In the meanwhile they're criminals because they're here illegally, eating up American's tax money, overwhelming our public services, committing a lot of crimes, forming criminal organizations, and even creating groups to overthrow the United States, much of which Joe Biden can take "credit".  Other than Michael Moore and his ilk, all of whom are suffering from mental delusions, the rest of us call this blame, not credit.

It turns out AOC is their new leader now, and little Chuckie Schumer is in trouble ....serious trouble...  with his base.  Senator Kennedy said his strategy for defeating her is to just let her talk, and noted she's the reason why they put instructions on shampoo bottles.  But she appeals to a base that's just as nuts and radical as AOC and Chuckie is scared.  Why?  Well, he's always been great at puffing out his chest and talking big and bad, but there's a new sheriff in town, and he backed down and voted for the continuing resolution.  He's actually afraid now for his job, and his safety.  Well schadenfreude, that's how the SCOTUS justices felt when he sicced the mob on to them.

But I think Chuckie may not have to worry about losing his job, at least to AOC, since it's clear she want's to be President.  It also seems clear she thinks she can get nominated, and get elected.   Nominated, really?  Well, given the Democrat bench who are giving the impression they're running:

Cory Booker, Gavin Newsom, AOC, Buttigieg, Walz, Rahm Emanuel, Kamala, Jasmine Crockett, and Josh Shapiro.

With a clown car like that, she just might get the nomination.   But elected?  With the baggage they have, and the staff that's in place, I wouldn't bet the house on it.

But there's a big worm in the Democrat apple.  The leadership and those who've been in the Congress for many years are going to be attacked by that same AOC radical base that supports her.   David Hogg says America's problems are the direct result of Democracy, and he's the Vice Chair of the DNC declaring war on the old guard Democrats

Janet Yellen proves what an idiot she is telling America having manufacturing return to America is  an undesirable pipe dream, and that gigantic intellect Whoopi Goldberg calls for higher taxes to keep the government big and well fed.

Democrats have made fighting deportation and keeping illegal aliens like M-13 gang member Abrego Garcia in America their hill to die on, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.  And guess what?  America isn't happy about that.  Plus they seem to have missed the fact the President of El Salvador is not sending him back, and he doesn't care what the Democrats or their corrupt catspaws in the media or the federal judiciary says, so why are they still playing this game.

Democrats are so stupid in their desire to appease some fraction of society, often an irrational faction, they run with the latest philosophical flavor of the day.  California lifted the statute of limitations on sex abuse lawsuits, and no one thought to ask what were going to be the consequences over this.  Well, it's going to cost them billions and billions of dollars with cases going back 40 years, and most of them are unprovable.  Will they repeal that law?  This is California, just raise taxes.

Josh Shapiro's aide scandal is bound to come up, and his catering to Muslims will most certainly not help him with Jewish voters, except for those who are far left "useful idiots".

In California Newsom has a lot of baggage.  Gas prices are set to surge because they're shutting down another refinery.   It appears Newsom is going to either force out all the energy producers in California, or put them under state control.  California hates white people, and decided to show their contempt by punishing white drivers two to five times more than minorities.  And that's fair, after all, Newsom needs that money to fight Trump.

Young girls are upset they have to dress in front of boys in their schools, and the school boards seem irritated seemingly unwilling to understand what's their problem.  We can see why Texas has approved school choice, and I think we can potentially see this on the horizon for the nation, since it appears public education is failing to educate.   Just 30% of Illinois 4th graders read at proficiency standardsBefore the Department of Education was created 1979 "the level of reading proficiency in the United States was generally quite high, with illiteracy rates being low and declining. By 1950, illiteracy was below 3% in two-thirds of states, and below 10% in all states. Even the earlier measurements of illiteracy, which focused on basic reading and writing, showed the rate was less than 1% of the population 14 and over in 1979."

In Michigan Senator Mike Rogers is attempting  to “MAGA-Wash” his record in hopes of winning back his Senate seat saying, “As your next senator, I won’t just represent Michigan. I’ll fight for it. I’ll stand with President Trump and we will deliver on the mandate given to him by the American people."  Wow! Imagine that.  That's abject heresy to the left, who will not vote for him, and conservatives won't believe him.  He's toast.

There's nothing these leftists can't contaminate.  Colorado, a once solid red state until all those leftist migrants, who Michael Smith calls the hollow people, "untethered from the principles that make a civilization function", fled California and filled the state's major cities, turning, Colorado blue, we now find homelessness is up 90% since 2020.

Here's what's happening.  Red states are on the rise, and Blue states are moving in that direction, and Texas has approved school choice, the teacher's unions are losing their grip on society, and it's long overdue, and we can thank their insane attachment to gender issues for a lot of that, not to mention their failure to teach the nation's children how to read, a massive increase in illiteracy has developed since 1979 when the Department of Education was created and started destroying education in America.

That's a lot of baggage, and the hits just keep right on coming, but it's all coming to a head.

P&D and The Week That Was

Observe, Orient, Decide, Act

Imprimis is the "free monthly digest of Hillsdale College and is dedicated to educating citizens", and just ran this piece,  New Thinking Needed on National Defense, pointing out the very real inadequacies in America's military.   And they're big.   I think this is a good piece as it hits on all the basics.

I never liked Trump as a person, although I'm finding him far more acceptable as I watch his reactions to events now.  I think the assassination attempts changed him.  I also think it made him all the more determined to get things done, and he's my age, 78, and realizes time isn't on his side.

If you give me six lines written by the hand of the most honest of men, I will find something in them which will hang him.  Cardinal Richelieu

I have to say his willingness to stand and deliver against all these attacks by a corrupt legal system has totally impressed me, heterodoxy isn't for the faint of heart, it takes guts and the willingness to be virulently  hated by your enemies, and still push forward against their slings and arrows.   He has nothing to gain by being President, except to save the nation.  He clearly understood their efforts to destroy him wasn't about him, it was to be a lesson to anyone in the future who dared stand up to the vile leftist cabal that's trying to destroy the nation.

‘Perceived foes’- The left has only impeached Trump — twice — tried to assassinate him — twice — indicted him multiple times, and came perilously close to sending him to Riker’s Island prison, but yeah, The New York Times asserts that the hostility is just “perceived.".....

So, as a leader, he's been amazing, and I don't think I fully realized how smart he is.  I'm convinced he saw his tariffs to be a solution to a great many issues, on a great many levels, including this one discussed in the Imprimis article.   He clearly understood these tariffs would drive companies back to America, factories will be built, supply chains will be altered and shortened, and the economic reality that the world's economy is the American economy is setting in with these chest pounding nitwits.

Did he see all the details? No!  No one could, but he sees the basics, it's a kind of "if you build it, they will come" attitude.  As AT&T used to say, "The system is the solution", so he put the right tools in place so the system could fix itself.

Is there a moral imperative in trade? - Once, American manufacturers and Democrats believed there was such an imperative, but until Trump came along, both political parties had abandoned that idea..........

Over 130 nations are now scrambling to the White House looking for deals, with many foreign companies pledging trillions to build factories here in America in order to avoid tariffs.    Imagine that.  But the chair bound generals and admirals who make the decisions over purchases need to be purged, and that's always been the case.  See my Col. John Boyd article.  Boyd was a bona fide military genius, and if there ever was anyone who applied Boyd's OODA principle, Observe, Orient Decide, and Act, it's Trump.

OODA1

AOC says America wasn't meant to last, and so we must assume she's wanting to be President in order to make that happen?   But, the Democratic party just might save America yet:

..........by their own stupidity.  They have demonstrated that they have learned absolutely nothing from the 2024 election, and that might end up being the salvation of the country—if they continue along that line, and with talk of AOC and Jasmine Crockett being their future “leadership,” things do indeed look somewhat brighter for the nation.  The Democrats are apparently intending not to learn anything, but to become even more stupid...........And since then, it appears the Democrats have learned nothing from their defeat. They continue doing unbelievably stupid things that turn off masses of American people. Just a few examples:........Keep it up, Democrats. You might save the country you despise yet.

Andrea Widburg published this piece, The new conservatives, discussing one of the most important factors, and least discussed, in any society.  Demographics!  She discussed how the next generation of voters is actually very conservative, and I think she may be on to something. I’ve read where a young generation, and I don’t remember the alphabetic designation they’ve attached to them, is the most conservative generation in years, and that they’re more religious.

I don’t know if that’s true or not, but historically generational changes can result for a host of reasons, but a lack of security as a result of failing to perform is foundation for such changes. Since the Pravda media is toast, they’re seeking out answers from other sources, but the idea they're getting their information from podcasts bothers me since there’s no time to lay foundation, and that’s the secret to understanding. Reading, especially books, allows for reflection and is the foundation for understanding.

We’re living through serious times with totally unserious people at the helm: They’re in the White House, Buckingham Palace (although mercifully merely symbolic there), and throughout the media. The old-time TV newsmen all leaned left, but they at least had the appearance of gravitas. This current crop is drawn from the back of the classroom and the bottom of the heap. They are ridiculous, ignorant people who risibly believe that they have both wisdom and knowledge. - Andrea Widburg

As DOGE is exposing the seditious corruption of the administrative state conservatives are shocked to find it’s far worse than they thought. Also, I think all this is clearly exposing the dangers a corrupt judiciary presents to the nation, and I believe there will be a fix for this judicial overreach in the near future. I’ve tried my best to track these rogue judges and the issues involved as a source article. For those interested here’s My Judiciary Gazette, which I keep updating the information regarding the judges, and the list is substantial.

The national debt is far worse than the 37 trillion that's on top and being reported.  When you add in the obligations to Social Security and Medicare, and they're not including the future costs of Medicaid in this analysis, Budget Group says the actual federal debt Is $158.6 trillion dollars.
Al Sharpton is up to his old corrupt and illegal extortion tricks.  PepsiCo agrees to meet with Al Sharpton over DEI cuts, potential boycott.  I just don't get these invertebrate executives.  This is extortion, flat and simple, and extortion is illegal.   I would tell him, Jesse Jackson, and all the other race baiting hypocrites to shove it, and if they did start a boycott, I'd sue their organizations, and them personally, for every dime them have, and I'd keep suing them.  And this would end.

There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs-partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. - 1911, Booker T. Washington

It's become clear neither Putin or Zelenskyy want that war to end, and I've concluded it wouldn't be long before Trump told them to shove it and walked away.  Well,  Secretary of State Rubio says unless Putin and Zelenskyy start taking peace seriously he's prepared to walk away.  There are times when you just turn mother's picture to the wall and leave, and I think that time is now.

The Bolsheviks have discovered that truth does not matter so long as there is reiteration. They have no difficulty whatever in countering a fact by a lie which, if repeated often enough and loudly enough, becomes accepted by the people. -  Winston Churchill

This week I've been trying to get a handle on so many of my drafts, and there's a ton of them, so in today's P&D I have 14 commentaries of my own, and 17 by others, and this video Theory of Stupidity!

Normally I don't do videos as I consider most of them time wasters, since by the time I get to the end I find there's nothing I can use.  Whereas print pieces can be scanned to see if they're worth reading.  But this one is profound and will be the foundation for a piece of my own, and possibly a series as things develop, and since there are no boundaries on stupid, I'm sure there will be "developments" for future pieces.

This is a time that's considered sacred to practicing Jews and Christians, and most certainly a time to reflect, ponder and evaluate reality.  So, have a good weekend, and my very best wishes to all people of good will and honest hearts.
