April 19, and the shot heard around the world Next year, patriotic Americans will celebrate America’s 250th birthday. We should know what happened in the years/months leading to our nation’s birth. On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere, William Dawes, Samuel Prescott, Sybil Ludington and others rode through the Massachusetts countrywide yelling, “The British are coming! The British are coming!”

Thanks to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s 1860 poem, Paul Revere’s Ride, Revere gets most of the credit for the ride.

Why were the British coming? British General Thomas Gage was determined to seize colonist weapons and gun powder that was being stored in Concord, 20 miles northwest of Boston. Patriot spies learned about this and set out on the famous midnight ride to alert colonists that the British are coming. The 800 British regulars arrived in the small town of Lexington, which is near Concord, in the early hours of April 18. That night, Patriots made the famous ride.

Patriots sought to keep the British in Lexington, away from the weapons and gun powder that was being kept in nearby Concord. On April 19, 1775, Captain John Parker led about 70 Patriots on the town green. Realizing they were outnumbered, Captain Parker yelled to his men to disperse, but in the melee a shot rang out—the shot heard around the world. To this day, historians debate which side fired the shot.

Lowe's Closing For Easter Sunday: Bravo for Lowe’s Home Improvement for joining many other national chains and announcing it will close its 1,751 stores in the United States on Easter Sunday, one of the most important holidays for Christians. In past years, Lowe’s has closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Now Easter Sunday joins the list. Associates will receive a PAID day off to go to church and be with family and friends.

United Kingdom - As final proof that inmates are running the United Kingdom asylum, two MEN (aka trans women) were in the final round of the Ultimate Pool Women’s Pro Series Event 2 that was held last weekend in the United Kingdom. A MAN WON THE WOMEN’S EVENT! 

UK Supreme Court rules that equalities law defines a woman as someone born biologically female - The Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that the U.K. equalities law defines a woman as someone born biologically female, rejecting the Scottish government’s argument that it includes transgender women. Justice Patrick Hodge said five judges at the court had ruled unanimously that “the terms ‘woman’ and ‘sex’ in the Equality Act refer to a biological woman and biological sex.” The ruling means that a transgender person with a certificate that recognizes them as female should not be considered a woman for equality purposes.....

Germany: Germany’s constitution protects free speech but not hate speech. Hate speech is defined as any speech that could incite hatred or be deemed “insulting.” But who gets to decide what is insulting? Moreover, posting what German authorities call hate or insulting on the internet yields a higher fine since. Once verbiage is on the internet, it’s there forever. If you didn’t write the comment, meme or article, but just reposted it, authorities will treat it as the same crime, punishable by a fine of thousands of Euros or up to one year in jail, if you are a repeat offender. This is a western nation! As reported in Breibart News:

The Bamberg district court in Bavaria sentenced Deutschland-Kurier editor David Bendels this week to seven months in prison on probation and a fine of nearly sixty per cent of his annual income, or 210 ‘daily rates’, for posting an image on social media of Interior Minister Nancy Faeser holding an altered sign.

German Politician Fined for Citing Afghan Rape Stats  - The Stasi-like campaign against German conservatives who oppose mass immigration intensified recently with a court ruling that upheld a massive fine against a politician with the populist Alternative for Germany party. Her crime: Citing statistics and pointing to the truth that rape by Afghans is out of control. The nearly $6,500 fine regardless, Marie-Thérèse Kaiser merely said aloud, or at least on social media, what everyday Germans see with their lying eyes. The mass influx of unvetted Afghans imperils the nation’s women, just as they do elsewhere, including the United States.....
