Wisdom is the Application of Knowledge and Understanding

I keep reading about the Republican civil war in Congress involving spending, and McCarthy's penchant for going along to get along, and the unwillingness of so many in the Republican House, and the leadership of the Republican party, to put a stop to it. 

In politics the prevailing mentality has been there's a need for finding common ground and compromise in order to get things done. Well, that sort of advice that was worth something in day's gone by.....maybe.  But that "bipartisan" mentality got us to where we are now.   But for sure, it's not going to work to the nation's benefit now.

Take as an example the deal Reagan had with the Democrats regarding the five million illegal immigrants he pardoned. He did so because they promised to "absolutely" make sure the border would be secured. It didn't happen, and they never intended for it to happen.  In Reagan's day, it was assumed the opposition was the "loyal" opposition. It only appeared to be the "loyal" opposition, but it never was "loyal"! It was only the opposition! 

The left was still making it's "long march through the institutions", and had to maintain an appearance of "loyalty". But now, the "long march" is finished, they've thoroughly infected education, science, commerce, government, entertainment, the news industry, and even the military. Now the opposition can be openly vile, virulent, and doing everything in it's power to destroy everything that makes a society stable.

1. Education has become nothing more than an intellectual sewer of Marxist propaganda, race baiting, and anti-Judaic/Christian rants, turning out kids who can't read, write, spell, think clearly, and at the higher levels of education they're turning out unqualified intellectual zombies. 
2. History has been distorted beyond recognition. 
3. Scientific integrity as become an oxymoron, and made so by government grant money. It's now American Lysenkoism. 
4. Entertainment is now corrosive, corruptive, and destructive socially at a foundational level. 
5. The military is obsessed with diversity, equity, inclusion and gender issues. Yet their failing to do the job they're supposed to be doing. Keeping the jets flying and ships and submarines operational.
6. They've brought the nation to it's knees with the false pandemic mandates, illegal immigration, hysterical climate insanity, inflation, food shortages, high energy costs, and an  incomprehensible foreign policy being instituted by a mentally impaired President, and a corrupt treasonous administration. 
7. Crime is rampant beyond anything the nation has ever seen due to their lax enforcement of the nation's laws, and weakening of law enforcement. 
8. They're turned government agencies into armed thugs attacking honest Americans in order to promote their destructive political schemes.   
   

These misfits are either incapable of understanding the dangers they're bringing forth to the nation, and to the civilization, or they understand it and want it.  If those are the options, then we have to ask: Do they suffer from stupidity, insanity, or both? Do they actually believe they and their families will not be impacted negatively by the collapse of a civilization built on Judaic/Christian principles and values?  

Do they really believe if Islam or leftism takes power, both of which share the same goal of attaining power in any way that works, and sharing the same more foundation of hate, greed, envy, lust, and violence, that will not impact they and their families negatively? 

Shivanthi Sathanandan, a big advocate of defunding the police was attacked by four young men who beat her savagely, in front of her children, and threatened the neighbors who tried to help her.  They were unarmed.  And guess what?  She feels "rage" because they won't beheld accountable for their behavior.  

Then there's Fani Willis who is now upset that she and her family keep getting doxxed.   "It's been very troubling..... she and her daughters, as well as other loved ones, have had their private information posted online along with racial slurs and threats of violence."  Well, that didn't seem to bother them when it was happening to conservatives.  They just don't seem to get it. Once this kind of thing gets turned loose on society it metastasizes and no one is safe.

We now face an implacable foe who desires the nation's destruction, but the difference in days past that implacable foe was in Moscow. Now that implacable foe are America's leaders right here in the nation's capital, along with many "leaders" in state capitals, many of whom, if we're to believe recent reports, are in corrupt collusion with the Chinese Communist Party and other foreign entities.   

Those who encourage finding common ground fail to understand, there can be no common ground, because there is no common ground. It's capitulation or conquest, and conquest by that foe will drag all of humanity into a dystopian horror. 

Failure to make wise decisions is due to an lack of understanding, and they lack understanding because they despise facts that conflict with their destructive narratives, thus they ignore the things known, and make up the things not known.
