“You’re going to order two phone lines for the
campaign, aren’t you?” My question was directed to the newly minted
campaign manager that I knew very well had never worked in a campaign beyond
passing out emery boards and pens on election day. It was a low-budget
campaign, and wouldn’t make or break this kid– well, it might have broken him
from thinking of staying in the game.
His reply was less than encouraging. “Uh, why do we need
two phone lines?”
The race was in a district where the voters were fed up
with the incumbent, and the primary complaint was that their representative no
longer cared about their concerns. That would lead to a pile of phone calls to
the election office of the candidate, and a lot of pro-bono“constituent
affairs” work for the staff. While many of those calls would be legitimate,
there would also be a fair number of calls from the local“less-than-sane”
folks. Without two lines – one for real campaign business, and one for the
“crazies” – it would be difficult to deal with the day-to-day business of the

Degree in Liberal Studies, explains what “social justice” actually looks like
when implemented. “Social justice supports equality and solidarity in a
society. (All wealth must be equally distributed.)”
“Government control comes with a heavy price. Life does
not continue along the same path we are accustomed to today. It changes
drastically. YOU will go to your government approved apartment (flat), in your
sustainable development, with government approved clothes, eating your
government approved food, going to your government approved job on your
bicycle. Traveling is out. Healthcare is controlled by the government. Your
electricity, energy and food will be rationed. All services are mediocre, your
only purpose in life is to work for the government. After all Nancy Pelosi
needs to take another $10,000 a day room for her vacation and someone has to
pay for it.
If the Government has determined that you have
accumulated more wealth than your neighbors, that is not acceptable, as the
requirement of social justice demands wealth must be shared. You will be
required to share your wealth to make room for other less fortunate families.
In preparation of implementing Social Justice, you will now be required to

My Take - Strange article, but if you look at
what's happening in Venezuela you begin to
realize this kind of mentality permeates the left, and always has. Leftism has
been a failure wherever it has been tried. Leftism is a secular religion with
no moral foundation; as a result has no restraints. There is no depth of
degradation to which the left won't stoop in order to gain the one thing they
want more that anything. Power to control the lives of those around them.
Leftists must be insane since we now have more than enough history since the
French Revolution - the real historical foundation of socialism - to know that
leftists, who are constantly harping about inequality, offer godless utopia
when history shows they never deliver anything except godless dystopia. They
truly must be insane!
I just skimmed through a Wall Street Journalarticle
about NY judge Shira Scheindlin, the woman who ordered massive and senseless
changes to NYC’s stop-and-frisk policy that she considered unfair to blacks and
hispanics. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has stated that 75 percent of all NYC
crime is committed by blacks; and 99 percent of all crimes in NYC are committed
by either blacks or hispanics. Despite these facts, Ms. Scheindlin wanted the
police to waste time and money making sure that 40 percent of people stopped
and frisked are white. It seems as if she considers stopping and frisking to be
some kind of cruel punishment bearing no relation to who actually is a threat
to the public, something done just to make other people (minority people) feel
bad. Although her arguments lack common sense, she wants this punishment of
being stopped and frisked to be shared equally between the potentially guilty
and the obviously not guilty. So very left-wing, isn’t it? One of the reason
left-wing rules, regulations and laws are so ridiculous and even unenforceable
is that they don’t address the core problems nor are they based on observable
facts. They spring full-blown from the non-analytical minds of progressives,
who think they can push history along by imposing fantastical solutions on real
