Coming Attractions From Today's News

If a godless, communist thug comes to power in a country, chances are pretty good lots of people will get killed. These are principles that history has consistently verified............The Democrat hierarchy now is hard-core Marxists/Leftist, people with no conscience whatsoever, to which political power means everything. And they will stop at nothing to obtain it. - Mark Lewis

By Rich Kozlovich

Last week I posted this article,  Illegal Aliens, Gun Control, National Security, and Treason, and in that piece I discussed the take over of a number of apartment buildings by gangs of illegal aliens from Venezuela forcing the tenants to give them their rent money.  I noted in that piece the authorities were doing nothing about it and the governor wants everyone to ignore the videos showing what was going on.  In that piece I linked an article that stated:

Most Americans have no idea what’s coming when the invasion forces that have already penetrated and occupied America are given the “purge” activation order to exterminate and replace American citizens.

Well, not all Americans are ignorant of the deadly consequences of the Democrat's immigration policies, or better to say their lack of immigration policies, where in some insane fashion they think they're going to be immune to the consequences of their insanity.  This article appeared to day, Coming Soon to a Town Near You: The Aurora Illegals Invasion, saying:

Last week, armed Tren de Aragua (TDa) gang members,Illegal immigrants from Venezuela, pounded on apartment doors in Aurora, Colorado, and bullied residents. This problem may spread to communities across our nation because Democrat politicians have opened our southern border to criminal illegal aliens -- many have been flown in -- and they are going to set up residences and headquarters in many places.

Note:  This is now an international criminal gang created by Maduro for his political purposes and he lost control of them. RK

The article goes on to show the insanity of how this is being dealt with, and I gotta tell ya, this falls under the category of "you just can't make this stuff up".  In New York three out four arrested in Manhattan neighborhood are migrants, and on Monday's almost every court case is a migrant.  As for this international criminal Venezuelan gang, they're already in New York and tied to "hundreds of crimes, including the shootings of two NYPD cops who were trying to arrest a member in June."  If you like this, thank Biden, Kamala, and the criminal organization known as the Democrat party.

Remember, these enablers are the same nitwits that scream demonstrators on January 6th were insurrectionists, and have through judicial corruption abused these people's Constitutional rights.  Something that needs addressing at a criminal level if Trump is elected.  There are judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers who need to be brought to justice over this.  And I include the illegal Congressional January 6 Commission for the illegalities they perpetrated.

While the focus right now is on the upcoming national election, Jarrett James Lash notes American's faith in local government is strong, and local government still works.  First, I think that's debatable, especially in each and every one of America's major cities, which are a disaster now, but he states something I think is worth repeating.

"We would be better off investing more time and energy in school board and town council elections than fretting over who is on the presidential ticket."

Well, to a large degree, I agree.  If you can capture the base of the political structure, eventually the entire structure changes.

This whole thing about Trump at Arlington is badly backfiring on the Democrats, and it gets worse daily.  John McCain's son is outraged, outraged I tell you, claiming Trump, who was invited by the Gold Star families, was just there campaigning,  despite of the fact his dad did it.  Remarkable!  But the hits just keep right on coming, as it  turns out John McCain’s son may have violated military prohibitions against campaigning.

Wow! Kinda like Captain Renault, I'm shocked, shocked I tell you to find corruption in the McCain family! So, if all that's being said is true, it looks like the apple didn't fall very far away from the tree. Most people seemed to forget John McCain was considered the most reprehensible of the Keating Five in the Keating Savings and Loan Scandal. More about McCain is covered here, and here's my whole John McCain file, and it's not a pretty story.  So, as for being shocked...well....actually.....I not really shocked at all.

America's universities are out of control, and need to be purged of their leadership, and then purged of all these protestors, and defunded, and laws passed to prohibit funding from foreign sources.   But there's a trend I'm seeing, which I think is going to be more pronounced as we approach November, and that's, if you’re Jewish and you vote for Democrats, you’re crazy.

Who does Biden blame for Hamas murdering that American hostage?  Israel.  Since he can't blame covid any longer,  it must be the Jews, Christians, conservatives, Republicans, white supremacists, and Rumpelstiltskin.  Oh, wait, Rumpelstiltskin was a mythological character wasn't he?  So too is blaming others for the negative outcome of their stupid leftist policies mythological.  Blaming Jews for the vile murderous actions of Muslims, that's always been the fall back position for antisemites.    Sieg Heil!

The Pravda media just can't get it's act together.  CNN dumped Brian Stelter because CNN was going down the toilet, and it's getting worse daily as demonstrated by the fraudulent rigged interview with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz by Dana Bash.

So, what's their solution? They brought him back as their Chief Media Analyst.  What could possibly go wrong with brilliant leadership such as that.

I'm getting the impression the assassination attempt on Trump has given him a new lease on faith.  He now feels, and correctly so, Our Country Is ‘Missing a Lot of Religion’; ‘No Guard Rails’ Without It.  Also,  he may be taking a new tact on going after the big time political criminals, like Hillary. He made a huge mistake by not putting Hillary in jail, if he gets a second chance, he needs to take it, and he's inclined’ to release Epstein client list if reelected. Well, that should be a no brainer, as I wouldn't be surprised if many of his most virulent attackers are on that list.

Do I detect a pattern here?   Treason and spying in the midst of the Democrat hierarchy?

Another theme playing out is how well JD Vance is being accepted by Americans, on both sides of the aisle.  After at speech in Erie that went over so well he was asked where was his teleprompter.  He responded saying,  "Ma'am, I don't need a teleprompter. I've actually got thoughts in my head, unlike Kamala Harris." He also said, and this really is resonating:  "I'm here, and I've been given this incredible opportunity, and I'm going to try to make something of it, and the way to make something of it is to actually get out there and talk to people." It's believed this trip will be something talked about for weeks in Erie.

Finally.  For those of us who've written about the green movement we know....they lie... a lot.  Since we've had so much experience with their lies, most of us start out with the attitude everything they say is wrong, and all we have to do is develop the intellectual argument to show it. Most of what they say are either lies of commission, or lies of omission, with just enough truth to fool everyone, especially the Pravda media.... and I don' think they're fooled at all.  They're part of the corruption.  But time and truth are on the same side.  Here's another lie that's known and one they keep repeating.  Truth, facts, history, and reality are anathema to green activists.  We really do need to get that.

Taking the offensive against eco-activism in Oregon

By September 3rd, 2023|20 Comments @ CFACT

On Saturday, August 26th, as the air filled with smoke from local wildfires, CFACT’s National Grassroots Coordinator, Tom DeWeese, traveled to the rural community of Grants Pass, Oregon. He was invited there because citizens of the community found themselves caught on the frontlines of several battles over intrusive environmental policies that are smothering their local economy.

DeWeese addressed an event sponsored by several local groups, including the county Republican Women’s Club and the Farm Bureau, and  attended by almost 500 people. DeWeese explained in detail precisely what they are facing: namely, a determined, well-funded, and politically-powerful cadre of Green ideologues dedicated to enforcing a radical environmental agenda. “Individual efforts by a few in opposition to this agenda simply will not stop it,” DeWeese explained.

Grants Pass faces the federal Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) ongoing effort to destroy the local timber industry. The county once had thirty lumber sawmills. Today, it has none. As a result of the closures, the community lost revenue and struggles to fund local services. Meanwhile, the wildfires burn almost unabated.

In addition, the Oregon State Legislature has mandated severe environmental policies that foster “sustainable development” must be included in every local comprehensive development plan. This has led to the inability of local communities to autonomously choose how best to meet the needs of their residents — as elected city councils and county commissions simply, without question, follow the state dictates.

As DeWeese spoke to the gathering of determined, but frustrated activists, he explained the origins of the policies and the powers behind them. In addition, he revealed how Green nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) virtually surround state and local representatives to pressure them to pursue far-reaching eco-policies. Said DeWeese, “They have a radical agenda, and they fully intend to see it enforced.”

DeWeese then presented a dramatic depiction, using over 35 members of the audience, to showcase how NGOs surround and pressure local government officials. The audience ate it up! “But,” said DeWeese, “you aren’t there, and our side has no clear agenda of our own to present for policy ideas. We must get off of the defense and take the offence to change the debate.”

To counteract the influence of Green NGOs, DeWeese put forth a plan to create a permanent infrastructure of citizen activists in the community to “keep up our own pressure” on local officials. He called it “building a Freedom Pod,” … focused on protecting local property rights, small businesses, and individual liberties.

DeWeese finished by telling the gathering they must stand up and be heard. To dramatize the point, he called on all of them to stand up and say NO! As all 500 shouted: “NO” and the room shook, DeWeese concluded, “That’s what your local and state representatives must hear from you!”

Real Threats to Biodiversity and Humanity

Paul Driessen

References to climate change almost guarantee funding, even for research topics of little interest beyond academia and eco-activists. Polls reveal that most people worry most about energy and food prices, crime, living standards, Putin’s war on Ukraine, and increasing efforts to control their lives.

A recent  Rutgers University scientists sought to determine how much diversity is required among bee species to sustain wild plant populations. They concluded that ecosystems rely on many bee species to flourish – and “biodiversity is key to sustaining life on Earth,” especially with many species “rapidly going extinct due to climate change and human development.”

US Geological Survey wildlife biologist Sam Droege says wild bees are generally “doing fine.” However, they definitely face challenges, primarily due to habitat loss, disease, and competition from managed honeybees and bumblebees – not to pesticides, since most wild bee species don’t pollinate crops.

That brings us to one of Wokedom’s favorite topics: intersectionality– in this case, actual connections among bees, climate change, habitat losses, and threats to our energy, living standards and freedoms.

Simply put, the gravest threat to wildlife habitats and biodiversity (and to people's rights, needs and living standards) is not climate change. It is policies and programs created, implemented and imposed in the name of preventing climate change.

Let’s examine habitat and biodiversity threats– without asking whether any climate changes today or in the future are still primarily natural, or are now driven by fossil fuels. Let’s just look at what purported solutions to the alleged “climate crisis” would likely do to the planet and creatures we love.

In reality:

The most intensive land use – and thus greatest habitat destruction – is from programs most beloved, advocated and demanded by rabid greens: wind, solar, biofuel and battery energy, and organic farming.

Team Biden is still intent on getting 100% hydrocarbon-free electricity by 2035. It wants to eliminate fossil fuels throughout the US economy by 2050: no coal or natural gas for electricity generation; no gasoline or diesel for vehicles; no natural gas for manufacturing, heating, cooking or other needs.

America’s electricity demand would soar from 2.7 billion megawatt-hours per year (the fossil fuel portion of total US electricity) to almost 7.5 billion MWh by 2050. Substantial additional generation would be required to constantly recharge backup batteries for windless, sunless periods. Corn-based ethanol demand would disappear, but biofuel crops would have to replace petrochemical feed stocks for paints, plastics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, cell phones, wind turbine blades and countless other products.

This is just for the USA. Extrapolate these demands to the rest of a fossil-fuel-free developed world ... to China and India ... and to poor countries determined to take their rightful places among Earth’s healthy and prosperous people – and “clean, green” energy requirements become monumental, incomprehensible.

We’re certainly looking at tens of thousands of offshore wind turbines, millions of onshore turbines, billions of photovoltaic solar panels, billions of vehicle and backup battery modules, and tens of thousands of miles of new transmission lines. Hundreds of millions of acres of US farmland, scenic areas and wildlife habitats would be affected –blanketed with enormous industrial facilities, biofuel operations and power lines.

Add in the enormous and unprecedented mining, processing and manufacturing required to make all these energy-inefficient technologies – mostly outside the United States – and the land use, habitat loss and toxic pollution would gravely threaten people, wildlife and planet.

Let’s take a closer look, now just from a US perspective, but knowing these are global concerns.

Solar power. 72,000 high-tech sun-tracking solar panels at Nevada’s sunny Nellis Air Force Base cover 140 acres but generate only 32,000 MWh per year. That’s 33% of rated capacity; 0.0004% of 2050 US electricity needs. Low-tech stationary panels have far lower efficiency and generating capacity, especially in more northern latitudes. Meeting 2050 US electricity needs would require Nevada sunshine and nearly 235,000 Nellis systems on 33,000,000 acres (equal to Alabama).

Triple that acreage for low-tech stationary panels in less sunny areas. For reference, Dominion Energy alone is planning 490 square miles of panels (8 times Washington, DC) just in Virginia, just for Virginia. Then add all the transmission lines.

Wind power. 355 turbines at Indiana’s Fowler Ridge industrial wind facility cover 50,000 acres (120 acres/turbine) and generate electricity just over 25% of the time. Even at just 50 acres per turbine, meeting 2050 US power needs would require 2 million 1.8-MW wind turbines, on 99,000,000 acres (equal to California), if they generate electricity 25% of the year.

But the more turbines (or solar panels) we need, the more we have to put them in sub-optimal areas, where they might work 15% of the year. The more we install, the more they reduce wind flow for the others. And some of the best US wind zones are along the Canada-to-Texas flyway for migrating birds – which would mean massive, unsustainable slaughter of cranes, raptors, other birds and bats.

Go offshore, and even President Biden’s call for 30,000 MW of electricity (2,500 monster 12-MW turbines) wouldn’t meet New York State’s peak summertime electricity needs.

Biofuels and wood pellets. America already grows corn on acreage totaling more than Iowa, just to meet 2021 ethanol needs. Anti-fossil-fuel interests need to calculate how many acres of soybeans, canola and other biofuel crops would be needed to replace all those petrochemical feed stocks. (They also need to calculate water, fertilizer, labor, tractor, processing and other requirements.) And of course, acreage not removed from food production would have to be converted from bee and wildlife habitats.

Climate activists also insist it is sustainable to cut down thousands of acres of North American hardwood forests (nearly 300,000,000 trees per year) and turn them into wood pellets – which are hauled by truck and cargo ship to England’s Drax Power Plant. There they are burned to generate electricity, so that the UK can “meet its sustainable, renewable fuel targets.” And that’s just one “carbon-neutral” power plant.

Organic farming. The environmentalist dream of converting all US (and even all global) agriculture to 100% organic would also reduce wildlife habitats dramatically – especially if humanity is to simultaneously eliminate world hunger ... and replace petrochemicals organically.

Organic farms require up to 30% more land to achieve the same yields as conventional agriculture, and most of the land needed to make that happen is now forests, wildflower fields and grasslands. Organic farmers (and consumers) also reject synthetic fertilizers, which means more land would have to be devoted to raising animals for their manure, unless human wastes are used. More lost wildlife habitat.

They reject modern chemical pesticides that prevent billions of tons of food from being eaten or ruined, but utilize toxic copper, sulfur and nicotine-based pesticides. They even reject biotechnology (genetic engineering) that creates crops that are blight-resistant, require less water, permit no-till farming, need fewer pesticide treatments, and bring far higher yields per acre. Translation: less wildlife habitat.

There are alternatives, of course. Government mandates and overseers could require that “average” American families live in 640-square-foot apartments, slash their energy use, ride only bicycles or public transportation, and fly only once every few years. We could also switch to “no-obesity” diets.

Indeed, scientists are again saying we common folks could “reduce our carbon footprints” by eating less beef and chicken, and more insect protein, perhaps ground-up bugs – or roasted bumblebees. Or we could just reduce the number of “cancerous, parasitic” humans. (Perhaps beginning with wannabe overseers?)

The Myth of Global Warming Disasters

By Rich Kozlovich

It's amazing, everyone with a degree in anything is now "an expert".  Kind of like Hollywood celebrities like Whoopie who declared Dr. Jill Biden is a great doctor and should be Surgeon General.  Of course Jill's  PhD. is in education, not medicine.  But what' as silly fact like that have to do with narrative?

These "stars", or even better, sports celebrities.  That means they've immediately become "experts" on science, medicine, social engineering, and ...well...who knows what all, but whatever the leftist social narrative of the day will be, even if it's diametrically opposed to yesterday's leftist narrative of the day...... they'll be for it.  But tending bar is what really creates a deep understanding of how the world should work.  Just ask AOC.

California "experts" hype sea level rise by 2050 50+ times greater than actual data shows by Larry Hamlin notes:

The Orange County Register has published in the last month 3 climate alarmist hyped articles (the latest article is shown below) which grossly exaggerate claims by California "experts" that the state's future coastal sea level rise by 2050 might be 3.5 feet or maybe 6 feet or maybe 7 feet by 2100 or maybe 10 feet by 2100.

The rate of California’s coastal sea level rise is not a mystery but is in fact clearly documented by NOAA measured tide gauge data going back more than century.  This ridiculous coastal sea level rise guessing game by the state’s “experts” is based solely upon using flawed and failed UN IPCC computer climate model scenarios while deceptively and dishonestly ignoring more than 100 years of actual NOAA coastal sea level rise tide gauge recorded measurements at numerous California locations that  demonstrate the rate of coastal sea level rise remains consistent with past periods and is not increasing despite decades of failed climate alarmist assertions otherwise. This absurd political guessing game of the states future coastal sea level rise is illustrated below from the 3 successive Register articles starting with the most recent as noted above.

Computer models aren't science.  They're part of science, but under no circumstances are they, or should  they be, foundational in promoting public policy.  The intent of computer modeling was a fast way of testing hypotheses, take look at the outcome, and then proceed to either abandon a hypotheses or look for real science, meaning observable, recordable and replicable facts that supports the model.

In the hands of these activist "experts" computer modeling is "game boy" science.  Garbage in garbage out, and is being deliberately misused to generate conclusions lacking real scientific data, which they then claim is "science", which we need to follow.

A few years ago Global Warming Religionists were claiming the Great Barrier Reef was doomed by Global Warming which would cause the rise of the oceans, both of which has been shown to be provably false.  As we see, another Global Warning bit of scare mongering is biting the dust, the "Great Barrier Reef is experiencing ‘record high’ levels of coral coverage."

Former JCU marine physicist Peter Ridd says the Great Barrier Reef is currently experiencing a “record high coral reef.” “This is data accumulated for some time, which … shows that it’s actually on a record high coral reef,” he told Sky News Australia. "The Great Barrier Reef is home to more corals than it was when the record began in 1985. “There are twice as many corals as a giant cyclone passed through a reef around 2011 and 2012. This record-high coral cover has three catastrophic unprecedented bleachings in the last five years. It seems that there was an event. “So you have to wonder if these bleaching phenomena were probably as devastating as these experts claimed.”

They weren't, any more than the Polar Bear was threatened, and I have no doubt in my mind they're aware of it.  Make no mistake about it.  Any nation that embraces all the Global Warming, Climate Change clabber is in for trouble, especially when it comes to energy as shown in this piece,  Fossil-Free Energy: India's Aluminum Industry In Peril

“Aluminum smelting requires uninterrupted power supply for production, which can be met only through in-house captive power supplies. The reduction in coal supplies, without any advance notice, has brought the industry to a standstill as it has been left with no time to devise any mitigation plan to continue sustainable operations.” (Aluminum Association of India, below)

Sometimes it’s not easy to follow up your words with actions. This is particularly true when a large economy based on fossil fuels is threatened by an anti-energy mentality trying to substitute dilute, intermittent energies for dense, reliable ones..........But what the political leaders do not realize is that sustaining modern civilization requires continued use of fossil fuels to meet some, if not almost all, of our most basic needs...........

Global Warming is a part of the leftist secular religious movement, along with abortion, destruction of the family, destruction of the world's economy and the elimination of about five billion people.   Why is that so hard to get?
