There are two kinds of writers and thinkers, at least generally speaking, generalists and specialists.  Either of both can cross over when they need to, and Daniel never ceases to amaze me.  He's not only a generalist in his world view, he's a specialist more often than not, and I like that he can take complex issues and explain them in a way everyone can understand them, which is one of the things that made Thomas Sowell one of the finest thinkers in the world.  

Today's offerings cover global warming, Islamic efforts to destroy America, along with leftist efforts at racial disharmony, destruction of America's military, economic collapse, transgender violence and what  I think any rational person would have to call leftist treason.

Baseball Home Runs Blamed on Global Warming - Americans, at least liberal ones, lost the right to make fun of Lysenkoism, phrenology and every bit of stupid pseudoscience some years back. Ever since, “the science” has become someone’s idea of an absurd routine, part Peter Sellers and part South Park, in which the goal is to say completely absurd things with a straight face. At the current rate of descent into absurdity, it takes the occasional new low to even get any attention............

 

CAIR Again Conflates Blasphemy and a ‘Hate Crime’ - CAIR, like other Brotherhood groups, is an Islamist organization masquerading as a civil rights community group. The Islamist mission is not to protect any ethnic or even religious group, but to impose Islamic law.  CAIR-MN recently got slapped down for trying this with pictures of Mohammed being shown at an art class at Hamline University .............

 

California Wants ‘Ebony Alert’ for Missing Black People - Fighting imaginary systemic racism with actual systemic system. A Democrat California politician is tried of all those privileged missing kids and senior citizens hogging the alert system. Senate Bill 673, introduced last week, would create the “Ebony Alert” system for missing black children and young women. When activated, the proposed system – similar to Amber or Silver alerts — would inform people of missing black children and young women.State Sen. Steven Bradford, who introduced the measure, says the new alert system would ensure that resources and attention are given to bringing home missing black women and children — eliminating implicit racial bias in cases involving missing persons of color.  Great. So when will missing Latino, Asian, transgender and gay people get their own colorful alerts?...............

 

“The Military Can’t Afford to Alienate Anyone Except White Men” - The Biden administration’s reaction to being criticized for playing identity politics with the military has been to play identity politics with the military. Are you concerned about our military readiness now that its purpose has been redefined to focus on the national security threats emerging from climate change, white privilege, and abortion bans? Please allow the man claiming to be a woman to explain why you’re undermining military readiness.........The military can’t afford to alienate anyone… except the straight white religious men and anyone who won’t get vaccinated. The military must be turned upside down to accommodate the tiny percent of the population that suffers from a mental illness that causes it to believe that it’s actually a member of the opposite gender.............

 

Biden Bans Cars - The Biden administration is effectively moving to ban cars. And they’re not even hiding this. The spin here isn’t even that this is about “air quality”, but that it’s about forcing consumers to buy electric cars (which they can’t afford) in the wake of Ford losing $3 billion on worthless battery vehicles. And any such proposed measures should be subjected to the same scrutiny, up to the Supreme Court level, as Trump’s census question was................

After Audrey Hale’s shooting spree killed 9-year-olds at a Christian school, another transgender shooter was allegedly caught planning an attack............

 

California’s State-Funded Chinese Influence Operation - Politico decided to provide an entire high-profile forum for former California Gov. Jerry Brown to launch into a defense of Communist China..........In its extensive softball piece, Politico never mentions Brown’s relationship with China.  Why does Jerry Brown care seems like an obvious question. It’s also the one that the media seems reluctant to answer...........
