Apparently there was a cold war joke that went around dealing with the mess created by Stalin's "five year" agricultural plans. It went something like this:
The manager of the state collective farm was dreading his annual meeting with the Commissar for Agriculture to discuss the harvest which, once again, had been dismal and far below state quota. From behind his desk, framed photos of Stalin and Lysenko on the wall above him, the Commissar opened, “And so, Comrade Manager. Tell me about the potato harvest.”
Thinking quickly, the manager blurted out, “Comrade Commissar, there are so many potatoes you could pile them up past God’s knees.” The Commissar was genuinely taken aback by this casual repudiation of official atheism. “Comrade Manager! You surely know there is no God!” “And, Comrade Commissar, you surely know there are no potatoes.”
Virtually everything we're seeing has now exposed what's been going on with the leadership in America today, is just another cold war joke. Surely, we know there is no integrity in government.
