For the last few decades liberals and left-wingers have been in a war against free speech in general, but political speech in particular. While the founders never envisioned complete license to speak, they did intend that every, any, and all speech on political matters should be unfettered.
The left is currently in all-out war against anyone with a center-right political viewpoint and are working daily to quash the opinions of the center-right. If you are a conservative on Twitter, Facebook, or social media, or if you are conservative in the media, you are targeted for destruction.
