Republican Echo Chamber Politics

Going After Gaetz, Going After Maga

When Matt Gaetz resigned from Congress, it was assumed the House Ethics Committee would not release its report because he was no longer a member of the House. But after a secret vote, that’s exactly what the House Ethics Committee did on December 23. Since it was a secret vote (cough-cough), should we assume that the two Republicans on the committee who are loyal allies of ousted former Speaker Kevin McCarthy voted to embarrass Gaetz? They are:

  • Ohio Representative Dave Joyce:  Email (media): sarah.young@mail.house.gov,  Phone: 202-225-5731, Write: 2065 Rayburn House Office Bldg, Washington, DC 20515
  • New York Representative Andrew Garbarino: Email: Click here for form, Phone: 202-225-7896,  Write: 2344 Rayburn House Office Bldg., Washington, DC 20515

Until we rid Congress of RINOs, having the “majority” isn’t going to mean that much. If you want to share your thoughts with Reps. Joyce and Garbarino, remember it was a secret vote.

Mollie Hemingway posted on X on the day the report was released:

“Sometimes I feel like I was the only reporter to look into details of the Gaetz allegations. That’s how I learned the accuser is in prison for making the same false sex-with-minors accusation against someone else.”

Patriot Neighbors reached out to a national opinion writer who asked to remain anonymous about the report. This was their comment:

“Gaetz wasn't allowed to mount a defense to the ethics committee. There was no due process, so nothing is believable.”

Gaetz said the same on X:

“There is a reason they did this to me in a Christmas Eve report and not in a courtroom of any kind where I could present evidence and challenge witnesses.”

As I see it, these McCarthy acolytes represent echo chamber politics where the resonance is pure stupidity and ignorance, and they don't represent a winning strategy.  Think about this. They railed at Matt Gaetz and his Heroic Eight for daring to stand against the time, vilifying and condemning them, but what happens after the next election in two years and more conservatives take seats in the House?  Gaetz and his supporters were the heroes, Joyce, my Rep., and that entire crowd are disgraceful.

"Treason is an ugly word and an even uglier crime. In simple language treason is the act of betraying one’s country to those who would destroy it and enslave its people. This definition is so simple that leftwing sophisticated journalists sneer at it. To them treason is merely relative with one country’s traitor being another country’s hero. This is the appalling moral and intellectual state of current Western journalism. The moral rot runs so deep that one despairs of living long enough to see any improvement." - Gerard Jackson

Mike Johnson is Speaker of the House, and Matt Gaetz is a Hero! Imagine That!

By Rich Kozlovich

Okay, after a grueling battle in the House to unseat McCarthy as Speaker, and a number of well known Republicans who were nominated to be speaker were rejected, on October 25, 2023 Representative Mike Johnson was sworn in as Speaker of the House.  Shocker!  No one really knew who he was or what he was.  Well, that's changed very quickly over the last two weeks and we now know who he is and so do the Democrats, who are in total attack mode because they're scared, and they need to be.

What I will be presenting may not be in chronological order but all of this will be insightful about Johnson, and why the Democrat Party is scared, and how it’s a good thing Mike Johnson got in quietly:

"otherwise, the media and other Democrats would have been able to have more time to collude to destroy him, just as they try to do with any political opponent who dares to disagree with their radical leftist ideology.  It really doesn’t matter who they are or what they do.   Think of what they have done to Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, Amy Barrett, Samuel Alito, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, and Trump over the years."

First, he's promised to Release Full J6 Videos, that in itself will be damning evidence of deep state corruption, and the lies by Democrats, along with RINO's Adam Kinzinger and disgraced Republican Liz Chaney who claims Speaker Johnson Is ‘Dangerous’ — He Attempted to ‘Undermine Our Republic’, because he believes the 2020 election of Joe Biden was fraudulent.  Well, it was blatantly fraudulent, (more here) and he's willing to be the gutsy guy that says so, and anyone who says otherwise is either stupid or corrupt.  Chaney qualifies in both categories, not to mention massively delusional.

But that kind of insane leftist rhetoric is what we called SOP in the Navy.  Standard Operating Procedure.  posted this piece which covers just how insane they are, Media Claims, Mike Johnson, Whom It Never Heard of Before is the Greatest Threat to the World snarkily asking, Does Mike Johnson eat dogs? Probably. He went on to say:

The formula never fails. And the formula is ‘Random Republican + Potential Threat to Left = Hitler’..........I once assembled a list of how every Republican presidential candidate after the fall of Hitler was denounced as the new Hitler. It’s just a template and any Republican, including the mildest of figures like Mitt Romney or McCain, gets automatically slotted into it. The cynicism might be funny if it were not so evil.

While the corruption of Joe Biden is blatant, and appears unending, the Democrat party is seemingly far more upset they can't find a thing on him.  Even questioning if he has a checking account.  As the author notes:

Yet I haven’t seen them worry at all about the Bidens receiving tens of millions in kickbacks from foreign countries, or having twenty shell companies that seem to launder money. They didnt worry that Joe and Hunter shared a bank account, and that Joe had to have Hunter pay some of his bills… but they are worried about this? Why don’t they care about the millions of Americans living paycheck-to-paycheck, thanks to Biden’s policies slowly impoverishing them?

Please ask yourself, is this the best shot they can take against Speaker Johnson?  This November 1, 2023 article,   Hit Piece on Speaker Johnson's Finances Backfires Spectacularly: 'I'm Supposed to Be Angry at This?' , by is telling:

Establishment shill Matt Fuller of the Daily Beast complained, in effect, that new Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson of Louisiana lacks the personal wealth required of a ruling-class oligarch.  “Mike Johnson doesn’t have any retirement savings, own a single stock, or have any assets at all,” Fuller posted Wednesday on X, sharing a Daily Beast hit piece entitled, “Does New Speaker of the House Mike Johnson Have a Bank Account?”  “He has less than $5,000 in his bank account. He’s got a 250-500K mortgage, a home equity loan, and a personal loan. So what’s his retirement plan? To lobby?”

Podcaster Joey Mannarino noted:  “So he can relate to the struggles that we’re all out here having? I’m supposed to be angry at this?”

Matt Gaetz:  “The Daily Beast is furious that [Johnson] isn’t rich, corrupt or rich from being corrupt. He doesn’t have shady business deals. He doesn’t trade stocks as a congressman. Cry more, I guess?”

Have no doubt, these attacks are just the beginning.  He's vowed to continue Biden impeachment inquiry, which might lead to an investigation of both Biden and Obama.  He's slammed the FBI for targeting religious Americans saying:

“I’ve made it very clear that, in my view, the evidence shows that, the FBI, for example, in the last couple of years has been weaponized.” “We have the evidence to show it,” he said. “They have, in some cases, targeted people of faith. They’ve targeted conservative Catholics and concerned parents at school board meetings and all the rest. The evidence is very clear that that’s happened.”.............“We have to ensure that the FBI is a trusted institution,” he said. “And right now, it’s not, by large numbers of Americans because of this evidence that they’ve seen.”

Make no mistake, that sends shock waves throughout the federal government along with those who've benefited from the dual justice system we're seeing in action, and the deep state will be doing all they can to destroy him.

If they can't attack him for financial corruption, they are, and will continue, to attack him personally.

Let's start with the basic truth. What they know they ignore because it doesn't fit their narratives, and what they don't know, they make up.

Left Media Says Speaker Johnson, Who Has Four Kids, Is an ‘Incel’ Because He’s Not Homosexual. The leftist media meltdown over Christian conservative Mike Johnson replacing Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House of Representatives is intensifying, with Salon.com claiming his ascension is symbolic of "the incel-ization of the modern GOP".

Did you hear the explosions eruting all over the nation? What explosions?  The exploding heads of leftists all over America when Johnson said God invented civil government:

The new speaker of the House of Representatives opened up about his Christian faith and how it informs his politics in an interview with The Daily Signal, in which he stressed the importance of treating political opponents with dignity and respect while adhering to fundamental truths. Speaker Mike Johnson discussed the Christian principles of America’s Founding Fathers, the greatest moral threat he perceives to society, double standards in the media when reporting on the religion of Republicans versus Democrats, support for Israel, and more.

His call for "Greater Integrity" in government must have really made their heads explode, especially how graciously he presented it saying:

“I believe that Scripture, the Bible, is very clear: that God is the one who raises up those in authority.  He raised up each of you.  All of us.”  He then referenced certain historical realities that re-affirm the intimate relationship between our history and the understanding that our identity as a country has not been and should not be separated from our closeness to Almighty God.  He recounted how the motto “In God We Trust” was placed in the House chamber as a rebuke to communism, which is associated with atheism, and highlighted the Declaration of Independence’s use of “Creator.”  He also noted the presence of Moses on the wall of the House chamber.  Later, on the Capitol steps he cited Romans 5:3-4 in the Holy Bible, which says, “Suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope.’”  As an interpretive afterthought, he added, “What we need in this country is more hope.”......

What has to be far more disconcerting to the left is not only is he a good man, he's a smart man.  Joe Biden has stated he will veto any legislation to support Israel that's not tied into funding Ukraine.  Johnson says he supports funding for Ukraine, but without tying it to aid for Israel, and now he's managed to pass a  $14.3 billion Israel aid bill that will fund support for Israel, which  won't increase the budget.  It's brilliant, because that money will be cut from the IRS.  Brilliant, and now that puts Joe Biden and McConnell on the hot seat.

The trouble with being a Republican Speaker of the House is far different then being a Democrat Speaker.  The Democrats are in lock step, the Republicans are never in lock step and for a Republican Speaker the job is much like herding cats.  However, this demonstrates he understands how the system works and has solutions that are at least thought provoking and can potentially get all the cats in the same room with this novel idea for avoiding government shutdown.

Two things, there's no such thing as a government shut down.  The federal government takes in about four trillion dollars a year, and that money keeps coming in whether the budget is passed or not, and the government still keeps writing checks.  How painful it is, and who to, depends on the President and how much ink he can generate from the media.

Personally, I think a government shut down is a good thing.  As an famous entomologist once said in defense of pesticides:  "There's nothing like a good epidemic to get things started."

Finally, while Johnson has some squishy views on race, here are 30 Things to Know About Mike Johnson, and none of that will disturb the moral and the sane.  To me it seems clear Johnson is a humble, modest, and amiable man.  Mistaking those qualities for weakness is a serious error in judgement.

And Matt Gaetz is the hero.

Matt Gaetz has been vindicated, and if the hysterical, establishment conservatives who bashed him for ousting Kevin McCarthy had any humility, they would be lining up in apology. They were wrong, Gaetz was right. Republicans have a House Speaker whose record far more accurately resembles the conservative base and its principles. Speaker Mike Johnson won’t always be perfect, but thank God he’s not Kevin McCarthy.

 Imagine that.

Who's David Giglio?

By Rich Kozlovich

On Tuesday Ian MacConnell published the article, The Republican Caucus in Chaos? Hardly, confirming Gaetz and his group really were the Heroic Eight, and outlined exactly want these eight gutsy members of the Freedom Caucus wanted, which is exactly what their conservative base want.

Drain the Swamp, stop all the omnibus bills used to spend without restrictions or accountability, end continuing resolutions and pass budgets as the Constitution requires, and if that means shutting the government down, so be it. Expose the Uniparty, and the RINO's who are a part of that vile cabal.

By taking action against some of the Democrats sitting on committees McCarthy gave the impression he would work with the conservatives, but we have to remember, he was the pick of the RINO's and Uniparty because they are who he is!  It wasn't long before he slid right back into that pit of corruption with his one man negotiating team with the Democrats on a spending resolution, a party that's doing everything to destroy America, making McCarthy a fellow traveler.  Then he followed up with another spending resolution because he previously recessed the House for six weeks, and did all this in spite of the fact he promised conservatives he'd end all of that.

He only supported the Biden impeachment because conservatives threatened to have him removed as Speaker if he didn't.  Then Gaetz started his campaign to oust him, and that gusty move was the beginning to his end.  And Gaetz stood his ground in spite of all the vitriol that was thrown his way, and he succeeded.

As this all unfolded McCarthy made public statements that were nothing about what he was really up to.  He wanted to be Speaker again, and we now know he was backstabbing each and every one of the candidates hoping he could get back into the Speaker's chair. And how exactly could that happen?  We already know it was McCarthy who cut a deal with the Democrats in the first place, not Gaetz, and I'm sure he thought they would support him for Speaker again to avoid a conservative being chosen.  How delusional can a man be?

All this exposed the RINO's for who and what they are, and then they realized Trump was inserting himself into this mess.  That scared them.  They feared he would come out against them in the next election, and panicked.  Johnson was chosen unanimously, and now, McCarthy and his supporters are "in full retreat", and all that vindictive and snotty arrogance is turning into fear, and rightly so, since I have no doubt when they come up for re-election, Trump will come out against them!  If he's elected, he knows they're the enemy, and he has no desire for them to be in Congress.

That brings me to David Giglio. He's the MAGA Challenger to Kevin McCarthy:

David Giglio, a self-proclaimed "America First" Republican who owns and operates a sports card and memorabilia business, announced on Monday that he would challenge McCarthy in next year's GOP primary. Giglio previously ran a failed campaign in the 2022 GOP primary for California's 13th Congressional District.  Giglio slammed McCarthy as a member of the "corrupt uniparty" in a statement announcing his campaign.

Giglio pledged to deliver "radical change" while praising former President Donald Trump and accused McCarthy of "capitulating to [President] Joe Biden and the radical Democrats." "After years of being sold out to special interests, the people of the Central Valley deserve an America First Republican fighting for them in Washington and working alongside President Donald Trump to WAGE WAR against the corrupt uniparty!"............

That's what the conservative base wants to hear, and wants to see put into action.  The conservatives who won in 2020 and 2022 were chosen because a larger and larger portion of the voting public has come to realize these Uniparty nitwits have place the nation at serious risk at many levels.  They also realize it will take drastic .... and dramatic..... action to save America.  Because of the actions of the Heroic Eight, and the nightmare of this Israel/HAMAS War, America is finally becoming enlightened, and liberals are going to bed as conservatives.

I've stated in the past if Gaetz is reelected, he will be one of the most powerful members in the Congress, and now, McCarthy is done because of him, his power is gone, his ability to sway events is gone, and his Never Trump RINO supporters are badly diminished, and voters may decide next year they've worked hard enough in Congress and need to spend more time with their families... permanently.

So, who really is David Giglio?  Just one of many who I think will be challenging RINO's in 2024, which brings me to this.  Remember when Newt Gengrich and Mark Levin railed against Gaetz and wanted him kicked out of the Republican caucus for ousting McCarthy, the man everyone is now calling a RINO?  Gengrich didn't surprise me, but Levin did.  So, what are we hearing from them now?

Crickets.

Welcome to the world boys, and the bug man was right again. Imagine that.

McCarthy is Done and Now, the Real Story Begins, Part VIII

By Rich Kozlovich

Well, waddayaknow. I'm gonna finally be able to end this series, and it only took eight parts. The Republicans have now finally picked a Speaker of the House.  Imagine that.

I've seen over and over again claims that Gaetz worked McCarthy's ouster with the Democrats.  Well, there seems to be a lot of smoke, and yet, I don't see a fire.  Not one Democrat has come forward to claim Gaetz tried working a deal with them.  Not one Democrat has claimed they were in cahoots with Gaetz and the Heroic Eight.  Not one!  Why?  If there was an ember of truth in these claims of a Gaetz/Democrat collusion to dump McCarthy why hasn't it burst into a conflagration of media outrage?  Gaetz certainly couldn't offer them anything because he didn't have the power to offer them anything, and they knew it.

The big knock on the Heroic Eight was they didn't have a plan.  That's false. I do wish everyone would walk away from this irritating meme, because, actually, they did!

On the other hand, we do know there was a McCarthy/Pelosi collusion for her to support McCarthy, and as Speaker, he could offer the Democrats a lot, and he would have because they would've owned him lock, stock,  and barrel.   What was McCarthy's plan, who's the traitor?

After Steve Scalise Jim Jordan was chosen as their nominee but lost after three votes because  25 Republicans blocked him.  Why?    Because Jim Jordan is a threat to the "Swamp", the system of reckless spending, borrowing, regulations, and "the traditions, the hierarchy, and the old-guard beliefs'"  So, were those 25 traitors?  That's what Patricia McCarthy called them saying:

The uniparty, that deep state bureaucracy that rules over us all, determined that the people should not have the Speaker of their choice.   A clear majority of Republicans wanted Rep. Jim Jordan to replace Rep. Kevin McCarthy for good and obvious reasons.  But twenty-five members of the House GOP revealed themselves to be petty, sniveling, chumps who decided that the people should not have a say.

Traitors was what the Heroic Eight were called when they voted to kick McCarthy out.  Everyone says: Be Reasonable! But their definition of being reasonable is to go along to get along. If that really was the definition of reasonable, I would like to see one time when being reasonable ever overcame deeply entrenched and determined forces.  In short "to be reasonable" is to surrender!  But they were only eight votes.  Remember, it was the Democrats who voted him out, and that's really rich.  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

Then Patricia McCarthy discusses  Tom Emmer, a major RINO and Never Trumper who:

"As head of the National Republican Congressional Committee in 2022, he reportedly implored Republican candidates in the midterms to distance themselves from Trump. And he’s been telling GOP donors that he won’t support Trump’s 2024 presidential primary campaign. “You can’t have the majority leader of the Republican Party being very anti-Trump and against his agenda,” one source close to Trump tells TIME. “That’s just not going to work. There’s no trust there.”

And he had the nerve to call President Trump for an endorsement.  Four hours later he dropped out.

However, one has to ask, why was this RINO chosen in the first place?  Kevin McCarthy!

Ex-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is conspiring with Establishment Republicans to install an anti-Trump, anti-MAGA Speaker. The former House Speaker has thrown his support behind Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) in the speakership race. McCarthy and Emmer worked together to pull funding from pro-Trump congressional candidates – a move that many blame for the 2022 midterm disaster. What was supposed to be a red wave turned out to be a trickle.

Make no mistake, Congressional Republicans are at war with their base.  And Matt Gaetz even claims  Kevin McCarthy Worked Behind the Scenes to ‘KNIFE’ Other Speaker Candidates.   So, who are the traitors?

Now, the Republicans have finally chosen a Speaker, Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana, and now,  after voting against McCarthy, and all the glee the Democrats expressed is now coming back to haunt them.  It's hard to understand just how stupid and petty these nutrolls actually are.  I'm guessing like most people, I've never heard of him, and as it turns out, it appears he's as conservative as Jim Jordan, but not as flamboyant.

Trapper apparently knows him and has followed him for many years saying his ‘ideology is very far to the right’.  Which brings me to ask, did you hear all those explosions?  What explosions you ask?

When Mike Johnson claimed this was part of God’s plan, leftist minds exploded all over the nation, and they've gone into melt down mode, "with Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign strongly condemned the election of Johnson.....“MAGA Mike Johnson’s ascension to the speakership cements the extreme MAGA takeover of the House Republican Conference,” Ammar Moussa, a spokesman for the Biden campaign".

  • Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) called Johnson an “insurrectionist.”
  • Rep Ilhan Omar (D-MN) labeled him a “MAGA Extremist” and wrote that his “achievements” include seeking an “abortion ban” and voting “against LGBTQ+ rights.”
  • Schiff discouraged voters from doing their own research and googling the new Speaker.Let me make it simple: Johnson is a hard-right, pro-Trump, leading election denier in the House,” he wrote. “Sadly, this is what passes for Speaker material in the Republican conference.’
  • “Introducing extremist GOP Speaker nominee Mike Johnson,” wrote Ocasio-Cortez. “He was a key architect of the Jan 6th strategy to overturn the US election.”
They really dislike him because as "political analyst Gloria Borger" claimed:

"You know, I think he is a person who’s hard to demonize. You know, it's very easy to demonize somebody like a Jim Jordan, who’s a firebrand. He's out there, he's fighting. And then Donald Trump can demonize an Emmer because he didn't believe the election was rigged.

But you had this kind of, I don’t use the word 'milquetoast,' that's not quite the right word, he's a serious person, who is not prone to getting in big, huge fights with people. He is known as a listener, I was told. He is hugely conservative, but he doesn't wear it on his sleeve all the time. So he can get along with moderates and listen to them. And it will be interesting to see what happens with Ukraine aid, for example. But, you know, he’s not the devil incarnate."

So, they really hate him because they will find in hard to demonize him?  Remarkable, but neither, truth, honesty, morality, integrity, or hypocrisy ever stood in the way of the Democrats.

He's been called one the smartest and most principled members of Congress, and he's got his hands full with all that's on the table.  Will he compromise?  Yes, but there's a difference between compromise and capitulation.  In a compromise both parties get something of real value.  The McCarthy wing gets almost nothing and amounts to a capitulation.  Is this is the end of the McCarthy, Ryan, and Boehner, era of Republican Speaker?  We'll see.

In my opinion, this was the only outcome that could occur.  The real benefit to all his is now the nation is far more insightful of who stands for what, and many of the Republicans have been exposed as CINO's, Conservatives in Name Only, and I'm expecting to see a lot of them primaried in 2024.

In his article, Are We Winning or Losing?, Jeffrey  Tucker states:

"The past four years have taught us much about the workings of the world that we did not know. The real rulers of the political social order who once hid in the shadows came out into the open".

He couldn't be more correct.  This Israel/Hamas War, and the Battle For Speaker of the House has done a lot of good exposing organizations and people for who and what they are.  Heterodoxy isn't for the faint of heart. It takes guts, smarts, tolerance, patience, knowledge, a really tough hide, and the willingness to be unliked for long periods of time. That's what we saw. Gaetz and his group were the Heroic Eight. Everything else is a red herring.

If Gaetz is re-elected he's going be one of the most powerful men in the House, even if the House goes Democrat. I know three things for sure.  Persistence, courage, and the willingness to be unliked as long as it takes will take a toll on their adversaries.  All of whom lack all three.

Leaders lead, and often times that means challenging the conventional wisdom, and those who've benefited from that "wisdom" are outraged when someone like Gaetz and the Heroic Eight stand as rocks in the current.  CINO's need the support of the group, the man rowing against the tide needs only truth, and guts, and Gaetz has exposed just how badly McCarthy and the RINO's have been conducting the "peoples" business.

This Israeli/Hamas War is going to drive a lot more people to the right as they're seeing just how contemptuous and disgusting the Democrats and the left in general are over the horrors heaped on the Israeli civilian population, especially the children.  That's heartbreaking, and that heart break is going to translate into change, and that change of heart is going to benefit people like, Gaetz.

We need to thank Gaetz, because no matter what happens now, McCarthy is gone because of him, his power is gone, his ability to sway events is gone, and his Never Trump RINO supporters are badly diminished.

McCarthy is Done and Now, the Real Story Begins, Part IV

It's the Governance Stupid!

By Rich Kozlovich

I discussed in Part I how all this talk about dumping McCarthy would create chaos was a load of horsepucky, and why.  Then Part II dealt with all the actual chaos that was created by these McCarthyite and McConnell CINO's (Conservative in Name Only).  I think Part III was especially good as I think I clearly established all the rants against Gaetz were immaterial logical fallacies and none of what was said abrogated the facts regarding the charges against McCarthy.  McCarthy's actions were the issue, not anything else. If Gaetz lied about what McCarthy did or didn't, then they should have exposed him, they didn't.  McCarthy was guilty as charged.  That was the issue, and everything else was a red herring fallacy.

As a result its been posited Rep. Gaetz might lose his seat in Congress in the next election over this.  Make no mistake, the CINO leadership is going to do all it can to dislodge him. His reaction?  If he loses his seat, the that's okay because ousting McCarthy is ‘absolutely’ worth it

While those eight Republican heroes who voted to oust McCarthy are being called rebels, they view McCarthy and his ilk as the rebels.  After all what else would you call those who ignore the Constitution, and violate the trust of the base with their twisted agenda.

Promises matter by John Green says:

The lesson is that in a system which depends on good-faith negotiations, integrity is important, and promises matter. When men working within that system lack honor, agreements aren’t agreements, and deals aren’t deals. Without honor, the system can’t work -- and hasn’t been working for many years.

McCarthy learned the hard way about Democrat promises, which I think is remarkably telling.  Nancy lied to him!  He was shocked, shocked I tell you.

How could he have been in Washington all these years, and in leadership roles and not know the Democrats lie....a lot.... because they have no stable moral foundations, and they will never let hypocrisy stand in their way.

Now we're seeing a new battle emerge for Speaker.   There were two top contenders, Jim Jordan and Steve Scalise, both far more conservative than McCarthy.  As for talk McCarthyites were going to bring him back ...well..... the beauty of America is you can dream any dream you like, but the rest of the world doesn't have to share it, and even after saying he wouldn't run again, he backtracked saying if they wanted him he would graciously accept.  Now that's dreaming.

Top conservative leaders in the House and Trump endorsed Jim Jordan for Speaker, but now Jordan says he will vote for Scalise, and they wisely told Fox News they wouldn't have a public debate over this as it was an in-house Republican issue, to be dealt with in-house. Have no doubt, Fox would have worked to make them look like a dysfunctional family and incompetent legislators.

So, with Jordan supporting Steve Scalise, who has an impressive record, who faced an attempted assassination, and is now fighting cancer.  I think he feels if his life is going to be cut short, he wants to make sure he leaves something behind that is meaningful.

So, now he's the Republican choice, and he actually wants the job as I don't think Jordan really wanted it.  He's the hard driving debater type who loves going after the left, loves showing his knowledge, intellect, and logic to defeat them, and if Speaker, he'd have to give that up.  The truth is, both Jordan and Scalise are strong conservatives, unlike McCarthy. However, there are problems.

There are at least twenty House Republican who say they won't vote for him.  So, using the logic used against the Heroic Eight, are they "rebels"!  And will all those who railed against the Heroic Eight call them out as "rebels"?  How about those 45 CINO's who sent a letter condemning Gaetz?  Since there are 221 Republicans in the House, and only 45 signed that letter, that means 176 didn't agree.  So, are they "an arrogant minority" and "rebels" also?   Will Gaetz's detractors call them out for that?

Of course the Democrats are going to put up their own candidate, but they know they will lose, but even so, they're willing to be gracious, and have offered to enter into a bipartisan coalition to run the House.

Rolling On The Floor Laughing GIF - Rolling On The Floor Laughing Emoji GIFs
"House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Democrats were ready to enter into a bipartisan agreement to run the House of Representatives........... “To the extent that my Republican colleagues are unable to resolve the ongoing Republican civil war, we’ve made clear as Democrats that we are ready, willing and able to find common ground, to enter into a bipartisan path forward. So, we could govern the House in an enlightened fashion that ensures that bipartisan priorities that have significant support from Democrats and Republicans in the House can receive an up or down vote. So that we could move forward and get things done for the American people as opposed to allowing the extremists within the House Republican conference to continue to dominate the agenda.”

Imagine that!

McCarthy is Done and Now, the Real Story Begins, Part III

By Rich Kozlovich

This is Part III in this series.  Part I, I outlined how everyone went insane over McCarthy's ouster, and saying:

Now we're hearing ..... Chaos, Chaos, Chaos, without McCarty we have chaos.  Really?  Ya gotta be kidden me! Why is it getting rid of a guy who was given a "F" rating by Conservative Review for his votes over the last six years, who loved more spending, more debt ceiling increases,....... massive spending and debt increases I might add, ......... abandoned every conservative principle he claims he believes in, was cozy with Democrats with back room deals is chaos, yet all that capitulation to the left isn't chaos?

In Part II, and in support of Gaetz's move to oust McCarthy I state:

Good decision making is a serious problem for Republicans.  There's a reason they're called the "stupid party", they earned it......And I got kickback on this which surprised me, from conservatives.  Well, this week has been a fiasco of inane intellectual blabber ...... from conservatives!  I've been aghast at the ranting from those who claim to be conservatives over Gaetz's successful ousting of McCarthy, claiming we'll now have chaos without McCarthy, which I will cover in Part III. Can they all be that foolish?  Apparently they can!  So I will run a series of pieces to clarify all of this for them, because it's clear a lot of conservatives are in some serious need of some clarity, and clarity starts with defining things properly.  This the second in my series, and the theme will be, Gaetz, whatever his flaws, is the hero in this story.

Let's start with those who are condemning Gaetz:

Laura Ingraham was seemingly "aghast" that such thing could happen, according to her, their reasoning was unsound.

Mitch McConnell says, “I think [McCarthy] has much to be proud of,” McConnell told reporters Wednesday, a day after the vote. “We avoided a government shutdown. We did the inevitable with regard to the debt ceiling, and I’m one person who’s extremely grateful for his service.....I have no advice to give to House Republicans except one, I hope whoever the next speaker is gets rid of the motion to vacate."

Why? Because he says it's impossible to govern with such a system. I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

Mark Levin really surprised me with this load of clabber claiming, "Let's cut to the chase. Gaetz is a POS demagogue who repeatedly lied during the House floor debate yesterday, and then, of course, simultaneously was fundraising and collecting email lists on behalf of the people."

Wow, am I shocked.  No politician ever did any of that before!   Did they?  I'm not going to try and dispute his claims because it's most likely I can't and they're accurate.  But, this is where we need clarity? Does any of that obviate the facts about McCarthy as a RINO failure who never saw an expenditure he couldn't embrace, or a hike in the debt limit he couldn't accept?  That he betrayed conservative base, the Republican party and the nation?  All of which Levin seems to have either ignored, failed to recognize, or dismiss.  All of which reflects poorly on Levin, not Gaetz, irrespective of his flaws.

White House Press Secretary Krine Jean- Pierre, called this "shambolic behavior that we're seeing from House Republicans............ The White House insisted that Biden is willing to work with Republicans bipartisanly......(sic)

Their real concern?  As this Dem. Senator makes clear..... billions of unaccountable dollars for Ukraine.  Well, they may find there's a new concept of bipartisanship distinctly opposite of the invertebrate "governing" by McCarthy and McConnell, in the future.

But here's my favorite, Newt Gingrich:

Newt Gingrich who called those eight Republicans "traitors.....and said all of them "should in fact be primaried" and "be driven out of public life............"What they did was to go to the other team to cause total chaos. We ought to be focusing on Biden, we ought to be focusing on the economy, we ought to be focusing on the border," Gingrich lamented. "Instead, you're going to get a week or 10 days of the media focusing on Republican disarray........."It's an astonishingly destructive behavior by a handful of egocentric people who think they're superior to 96 percent of the conference," Gingrich went on to emphasize.

Now I think that's really amazing!  Why?  I have a long memory, and a big file on everything that goes on in the world.  In 2011 I wrote this piece, The Power of Science, with that infamous video with Gingrich and Nancy Pelosi sitting on a couch spouting nonsense about global warming.  I went on to say:

After getting beaten up over this incredible stupid act, Gingrich confessed the Pelosi ad ‘the dumbest single thing I’ve done in years’. Newt owns up to his participation in this infamous climate ad with Nancy Pelosi, but despite his confession is he out of the woods regarding green issues? He may now be sorry for this lack of insight for doing this incredibly stupid alarmist ad, especially with a person who is clearly a fruit cake, but one wonders if he regrets this because he has all of a sudden become enlightened and more clearly informed; or is it just because this issue isn't the popular cause célèbre it was a couple of years ago.

The fact is he either believed what he was saying, and then took the cowards way and backtracked, or he didn't believe what he was saying and was a dishonest coward.  And he's calling these eight Republicans traitors, and unfit for public service?

Ya just gotta be kidden me!

But the worst demonstration of stupidity and invertebracy was the  45 House RINOs Sign Letter Calling Out 8 GOP Reps for Voting to Remove Kevin McCarthy as Speaker, and they listed them in this article.  One of them was my Representative Dave Joyce, but truth be told, I didn't have to look to know his name was there.

Gingrich shot off his mouth saying they should be focused on Biden, not McCarthy.  Okay, but where was their RINO outrage at the vast expenditures by Biden, all of which they voted for, going to illegal aliens. Is it any wonder there are those who think the Republican party isn't only the "stupid party" it's the "worthless party" and is part of the "uniparty" destroying America beyond repair? Apparently that was okay, but firing the man who helped make all that happen is outrageous and chaos!
  • Where was their outrage at one of the most evil people in America, Hillary Clinton, with her vile and outrageous claims about the Russian collusion and her commissioning of the Steele dossier?
  • Where was their outrage at her successful efforts to "get election laws changed to benefit Democrats".
  • Where was their outrage at the media's collusion in all that?
  • Where is their outrage now that she's demanding America set up "re-education" camps, just like Mao?
  • Where's they outrage at over the new FBI’s task force created to target Trump supporters?  You know, like those radical Catholics who want their mass in Latin.
  • Where is the letter from these 45 misfits telling the world that's unacceptable?

This gets even better yet.  Where's the outrage over Biden using s $83 million covid relief funds for a new John McCain Library? All of which they voted for, and as far as I can tell, this was on McCarthy's watch.  It get's better.  Cindy McCain, who despises Trump, and thinks Biden is just grand and deserves to be President, also thinks character counts, but the Biden/McCain history isn't exactly an example of integrity or character, unless it's low.

One thing is clear, all RINO's have a serious issue with, cognitive dissonance.  They fail to define things properly, fail to see the logical fallacies, fail to understand the long term consequences, and have a serious failure in verterbracy.   They fail to define things properly, thus lack clarity.  But no matter, this is the reality.   The status quo has changed, the conservative base is outraged, and they just refuse to recognize that.

Over at Canada Free Press in his article, Kevin McCarthy, Rewriting History, asks:  How do you see Kevin McCarthy now? As a victim of a personal vendetta, or a sleaze ball whose lies finally caught up with him, saying:

How quickly we forget.  To hear the screaming scalded cats on Fox, Kevin McCarthy is the tragic victim of a vindictive Matt Gaetz, who dislikes him so much he would end McCarthy’s speakership just to settle a personal score.  Kevin McCarthy is a snake, a smooth talker, and definitely not a conservative. He’s the ultimate swamp creature, he pretends to want “what’s best for the country,” but really wants what’s best for himself...........“It's clear that he's no friend of conservatives. His "Liberty Score" is an F. He and his dark money allies systematically undermined MAGA candidates in the 2022 GOP primaries and even in the general election.

Rank and file GOP members didn't want him, and only 36% of likely voters think the country is on the wrong track.............McCarthy has spent his career putting special interests ahead of those of the American people in favor of lobbyists, government bureaucrats, the military industrial complex, and has done nothing to control our borders, oppose the drug cartels or oppose Chinese expansion.”

Now I think it's time to present those who are lauding Gaetz.

On October 5, Over at Frontpage Magazine published this piece, Bravo, Gaetz, At last, a politician stands up to the establishment uniparty, saying:

“Gaetz has very few friends in the conference,” said his fellow Florida Rep. Carlos Gimenez. “Gaetz maybe has a couple of friends in the delegation. But I’m not one of them"..............even patriots who are sympathetic to Gaetz are saying that he has jeopardized the Republicans’ slim majority in the House.........Gaetz himself is not a candidate.....So the whole thing was a disaster, no? Gaetz should have left well enough alone, right? Wrong. In fact, Gaetz has won a rare victory for the American people, and should be congratulated and thanked accordingly............For years now, indeed, for decades now, and with very few exceptions, the far Left has set political policy in the United States. On occasion, patriots have refused to go along, but almost every time their opposition collapsed into capitulation, with a few minor details adjusted but the larger principles of the Left’s initiative left intact. This capitulationism has been the hallmark of the Republican Party since at very least 1952.........Gaetz added: “Speaker McCarthy made an agreement with House conservatives........

Another of my favorite writers is Patricia McCarthy over at American Thinker.  On October 5th, she posted this article, Matt Gaetz is a hero saying:

So, eight conservatives have successfully ousted Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House and much of the conservative punditry is angry!   What does that tell us?   It tells us that all those RINOs who voted to retain McCarthy are not conservatives.  That any member of Congress can and does vote to perpetuate the brutally irresponsible spending of the uniparty that runs the swamp which should be a wake-up call for all Americans............

The vote to oust Kevin McCarthy should be an epiphany, the realization that neither political party gives a damn about the American people.  Their own personal power, their re-election, the wealth they accrue by being in Congress is the goal.  They vote, again and again, to spend wildly more money than actually exists.  And only eight Republicans had the fortitude to vote against them.   Again, those eight Republicans are brave heroes.  They will surely be punished for their courage but they should give us hope for the future.  Slim hope, to be sure.  Eight out of 435 is a sad commentary on the state of our nation.

What exactly was Gaetz demanding that McCarthy failed to do, and so outraged those 45 RINO's?

  • He demanded that elected representatives of the people keep their promises to the electorate.
  • He demanded that Congress control tax dollars.
  • He demanded a detailed budget for the federal government.
  • He demanded an end to blank checks written to the Administrative State in the form of Omnibus Bills.
  • He demanded rogue agencies that used the Judicial system to punish political opponents be funded no more.
  • He demanded the IRS be downsized in accordance with its mission.
  • He demanded the termination of plans to expand the IRS as a compliance apparatus to shake down political opponents.
  • He demanded accountability for the Billions of taxpayer dollars to fund a far-off and covert Ukrainian war.
  • He presented our demands as an elected representative of the American People.

None of that is out of sync with the views of real conservatives, all of which McCarthy, and the RINO's in both houses have failed to do.

That brings us to the crux of the matter!  Who will be the new Speaker of the House, and let's not forget Matt Gaetz isn't putting himself forward.  And didn't for two reasons.  One, most of the House doesn't like him, so he's even less popular than McCarthy was when it took 15 votes to get him elected.  And two, if he did so it would have thwarted what needed to be done.  And that was getting rid of McCarthy!  So, no matter what's being said about Gaetz, it was clear none of this was about him, it was the mission that counted.

Currently there are two viable candidates,  Jim Jordan, and Steve Scalise, which I really find enjoyable since that nitwit, Rep. Austin Scott claimed the next House Speaker won’t be anybody as conservative as Rep. McCarthy! Guess what Scott, you have a screw loose.

While Congressman Troy Nehls wanted to nominate Donald Trump for Speaker, and the Constitution doesn't require the Speaker to be a member of Congress, so that was possible, albeit stupid, but Trump has endorsed Jim Jordan.

Now, if you really want confidence that Jordan is the go to guy, take the comments from these two misfits,  Liz Cheney, who claims Jordan would overturn the Constitution, and Adam Kinzinger who claims Jordan is "very dangerous for the nation", because he's a Christian, and a nationalist.

A Christian, Oh No!!! Oh, wait, wasn't it Christians who were the writers of the Constitution?  And wasn't it New England religious leaders who inspired the Bill of Rights?  Are those the kind of people he's talking about?  If those two pus filled pimples are against him, that should fill every conservative in the nation with confidence for him as Speaker.

McCarthy is Done and Now, the Real Story Begins, Part II

Definition leads to clarity, clarity leads to understanding, understanding leads to good decision making.

By Rich Kozlovich

Good decision making is a serious problem for Republicans.  There's a reason they're called the "stupid party", they earned it. I posted this piece, McCarthy is Done and Now, the Real Story Begins, saying:

Before this vote to dump McCarthy everyone was laughing at Gaetz, and now, ....and now...., this is going to change things as never before.  First, everyone said his efforts were going nowhere.  Then it was said the ethics committee was investigating  him, and by all accounts at the behest of McCarthy, and could cost his is seat in the Congress.  He knows whether or not he's guilty and I doubt he would be pursuing this if he was, and we already know some charges brought against him were lies the media ran with.

And I got kickback on this which surprised me, from conservatives.

Here's what the conservative base of the Republican party is concerned about, and what McCarthy and his fellow CINO's (Conservative in Name Only) in the Republican caucus failed to do anything about by continuing to fund everything the Democrats and Biden demanded of them.

  1. Over eight million illegal immigrants have invaded America, and this administration, and the Democrats, along with some Republicans in Congress are complicit in that criminality, and yet their public stand is the "border is secure".  Which almost no one believes.
  2. Biden wants the Congress to authorize borrowing another six to seven trillion dollars, money we can't pay back under the current system.
  3. Biden wants home mortgage interest rates to be raised to 7%.
  4. Inflation has caused basic essentials to cost between 25 and 30% more since he was fraudulently elected to office.
  5. His foreign policy decisions have been disastrous starting with Afghanistan leaving billions of dollars of American military equipment to the Taliban, and now wants to fund Ukraine to billions of dollars we don't have - all unaccountable billions of dollars - and is depleting America's arsenal in support of Ukraine.
  6. His pandemic polices, along with the racist DEI demands he's imposed on America's military have devastated a once stable military into a crumbing mess right before our very eyes. These DEI generals and admirals, misfits all, can't fix the jet fighters, or the nation's submarines, but they fixed the gender and white supremacist issues that "plagued" the military.
  7. He's destroyed the nation's energy independence inherited from Trump,  drained the energy reserve to lower gas prices, and now America has to buy oil from the Middle East, and even of all places, Venezuela, with their heavily contaminated oil.
  8. Crime is skyrocketing in all of America's Democrat controlled major cities.  The result:
    • Destroyed lives
    • Bankrupted businesses.
    • Forcing out the stable productive citizens, leaving these Democrat run sewers.
    • Turning these cities over to the thugs, murderers, drug addicts, bums, along with the poor and elderly who can't afford to leave, putting them at the mercy of monsters.
    • These leftist misfits refuse to prosecute criminals.
    • They've stripped the police, at least those who are left, of the power to deal with them, and the nitwits in the Democrat party and their catspaws in the media applaud all that.

Can the left wing journalists and activists, and even Democratic politicians, who all supported defunding the police, who have been refusing to prosecute criminals escape the consequences of the resulting crime wave, street violence, and the murderous predators they've turning loose on society.   They think so! How?  Because they claim there's no crime, it's all conservative propaganda being used to divide the party, and anyone who claims otherwise is nothing but an out and out Nazi racist.

But does reality really trump fantasy?  Maybe, and maybe not!  Allegedly 47% of America approves of Biden, and presumably his polices and the Democrat party.  Is it possible that many people in America are that stupid?  Maybe, and that's frightening.  But what's really frightening is how many "conservatives" supported a seriously failed Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, who never saw an expenditure he didn't love or a debt ceiling he couldn't break through.  And they're concerned about preventing a government shutdown?  Ya gotta be kidden me.

McCarthy is Done and Now, the Real Story Begins

By Rich Kozlovich

Before this vote to dump McCarthy everyone was laughing at Gaetz, and now, ....and now...., this is going to change things as never before.  First, everyone said his efforts were going nowhere.  Then it was said the ethics committee was investigating  him, and by all accounts at the behest of McCarthy, and could cost his is seat in the Congress.  He knows whether or not he's guilty and I doubt he would be pursuing this if he was, and we already know some charges brought against him were lies the media ran with.

This is a man who claims he won't run again because he won't sell his soul to the Democrats, and that all this was due to nothing more than personal animus against him by Gaetz. While the animus between them is palpable, and it's clear that's part of the story, that's not really the issue is it?

Did he abandon all conservative positions on spending and other issues or didn't he?  Did he fail to honor his agreements with the conservative wing?  Yes, he did, and that's the real issue isn't it.

As Rep. Nancy Mace noted:

"[McCarthy] has not lived up to his word on how the House would operate.” ............I came here to take difficult votes and do the right thing, regardless of the pressure and regardless of the threats (bc there’s been plenty of both). Today I’m voting against 95 percent of my party in the hopes of fixing how Congress operates,.............With the current Speaker, this chaos will continue. We need a fresh start so we can get back to the people’s business free of these distractions. I’ll work with anyone willing to do that and look forward to voting for a Speaker who shares this vision for changing Congress and getting us back on a path to delivering results for the people.”

The vote was a bit of a shock since only eight Republicans voted to oust him, which I think is truly telling of where the Republican party stands on all the spending and insanity of the Democrats.  It also shows what I think is an important point.  McCarthy's chumminess with the Democrats meant nothing when he needed them, and historically, Democrats will abandon everyone, anyone, or anything if it gives them a boost, even if its temporary.  That's history, and that should have been recognized by the most casual observer.  This piece about Pelosi's promises exemplifies that.

The House won't pick a new Speaker until next week, and while there's no Speaker, legislation is at a standstill, and the nation's safe for at least a week anyway.  What kind of speaker will be picked?  This really gets rich.  Rep. Austin Scott claims the next House Speaker won’t be anybody as conservative as Rep. McCarthy! Why, is the House going to pick Nancy Pelosi?

McCarthy's view of things are what you would expect claiming compromise is necessary and claimed:

"Doing the right thing isn't always easy, but it is necessary,"  [and he was] "proud of what we accomplished........."

So practically groveling to the left is "compromise" and raising the debt ceiling and spending like drunken sailors is doing the right thing and made him proud?  Is there any doubt he's not the answer, he's the problem, and he's just the tip of the iceberg.  All this to avoid a government shut down.  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

Now the Democrats are crowing and preening themselves over what is clearly a problem for Congressional Republicans, in both houses, claiming .....laughably claiming..... they voted against McCarthy because “We're going to vote with Matt Gaetz because we are anti-MAGA".    But they "could hardly contain their joy at the dysfunction on the other side", because here's the real reason they voted against McCarthy.  They're trying to show Republicans are undisciplined and incapable of governing.

So, that's how this story is playing out today?  There's a lot of anger being expressed by Republicans over McCarthy being ousted, including the Interim Speaker Patrick McHenry.

But J. D. Rucker defines this properly calling the GOP feckless, and wondering where was all this angry emotion over illegal aliens pouring across our borders, the debt deals that rose our debt to 33 trillion dollars, how the FBI has been politicized and is rounding up Trump supporters and throwing them into prison, or that the Justice department is clearly performing illegal acts involving election interference.

Why is it all that's meaningless but kicking their RINO buddy, actually their CINO buddy, Conservative in name only, is outrageous, and that really makes them angry.

Not the inflation their legislation generates, or the damage from the false pandemic narrative and mandates, not the blatantly criminal activity of the Biden Crime family, or the corrupt practices of Department heads of the Deep State. No, they're angry at Gaetz for making McCarthy accountable for his actions, all of which they supported.

That's today, but remember, tomorrow is only a day away, and in Washington, tomorrow can become an era! Gaetz response to all the hand wringing and outrage against him:

"It's to the benefit of this country that we have a better Speaker of the House than Kevin McCarthy!.........We are breaking the fever now, and we should elect a speaker who's better”

But what this all really shows is the Congress is out of control and is driving the nation to ruin.  Now that's what I call chaos, and a good, and long shut down, would be a good thing, starting with laying off 80% of all the bureaucrats in the federal government, and start looking at eliminating them permanently.

Man Travels From Portland to Kill Matt Gaetz, DOJ Yawns

By Kevin Downey Jr. Oct 21, 2021

How many FBI agents does it take to arrest the man who threatened to kill Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz?

Zero, you silly goose, because Gaetz is a Republican.

If Gaetz were a Democrat, the alleged hitman would likely have been arrested and detained without bail, like the 71-year-old Pennsylvania man who was stopped while driving to D.C. with plans to kill various Democrats in February 2021. He is looking at a maximum ten-year sentence.........To Read More...

Matt Gaetz Needs an Apology From the Media

Did the big-box outlets already know he was innocent as they gnawed on his bones?

Like hyenas at the broken-leg buffet on the Serengeti, the media gorged for months on the delicious, salacious story of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL). But now that the truth is out, will a mea culpa follow – and did the big-box outlets already know he was innocent as they gnawed on his bones? The Department of Justice recently indicted 62-year-old Stephen Alford as the mastermind behind an evil extortion plot to make millions off the young congressman’s family. Alford, believing $25 million would be easily pocketed to protect Gaetz’s reputation, misjudged the lawmaker. As the DOJ states in the pesky paperwork:

“Stephen M. Alford did knowingly and willfully devise, and intent to devise, a scheme to defraud and for obtaining money and property by means of material false and fraudulent pretenses, representations, and promises, and for the promise of executing such scheme, did cause, and attempt to cause, a wire communication to be transmitted in interstate commerce.”

It would seem to have been prudent to listen to the rising star in Republican politics when he told media outlets his dad had been wearing a wire, and that “No part of the allegations against me are true, and the people pushing these lies are targets of the ongoing extortion investigation.”

Well, Oops, What a Racket

Rep. Gaetz has been adamant in stating his innocence since the first un-credited report surfaced. He continually denied and decried accusations of sex trafficking, lewd and lurid sexual exploits with consenting women and underage girls, and a slew of unseemly and illegal activities unbecoming of a rising political star. Finally, under intense scrutiny by activist pundits, the media was rewarded with a response from Gaetz last spring on Twitter:

“Over the past several weeks, my family and I have been victims of organized criminal extortion involving a former DOJ official seeking $25 million while threatening to smear my name. We have been cooperating with federal authorities in this matter.”

Alford is not one to leave unattended with your wallet. The Fort Walton man was previously convicted of defrauding the United States Air Force over a land swap, grand theft of $100,000, and was released on ten years’ probation in 2019.

Apparently, his biggest mistake to date was attempting to extort the Gaetz family. If convicted, Alford could be eating bologna sandwiches, wearing prison moccasins, looking over his shoulder in the shower, and dreaming about getting out in 25 years or so. A relieved Gaetz stated on Twitter: “Those he was working with to extort me on a pile of lies should be next.”  But maybe there is yet another group of folks complicit with political goal-oriented reporting.

Wipe Off the Egg and Report the Truth Now

Hard-left and mainstream outlets gushed while repeating anonymous allegations that any normal person would find disturbing and disgusting. They filled themselves on rumors, innuendos, and whisper campaigns, not caring whether Gaetz was telling the truth and was, in fact, a victim of a political and criminal hit. Perhaps now the activist media will give Mr. Gaetz a line or two of facts, not fiction, and demand sources and citations for questionable and potentially combustible, career-ending stories. But don’t hold your breath for an en masse media mea culpa – you may turn bluer than them.
