As I watch the world spinning I marvel at how the left has managed to make insanity the cultural norm for so many uninformed, misinformed, and ignorant people.  Yet this was exactly what George Orwell, the Socialist, Predicted Today’s Ruthless American Socialism, as the author notes their only real adversity is reality.  

Trump Calls for Senate Parliamentarian to Be Fired After She Nixes Ballroom Funding Plan ....

"the Senate Parliamentarian is a nonpartisan, appointed staff member and not a constitutional officer. [1, 2] Here are a few quick facts about the position: 

Role: The parliamentarian acts as an expert advisor to the presiding officer (usually the Vice President or the President pro tempore) on Senate rules, precedents, and procedures. 

Creation: The office was created in 1935 by the Senate to handle the increasingly complex legislative process. Appointment: The parliamentarian is hired by the Secretary of the Senate and serves at the pleasure of the Senate Majority Leader. 

Power: Their advice is strictly advisory. The presiding officer or the Senate as a whole can choose to overrule or ignore the parliamentarian's guidance, though this is relatively rare. Because the U.S. Constitution (in Article I, Section 5) simply states that "Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings," the rules and officials—like the parliamentarian—are entirely the creation of the Senate itself, rather than mandated by the Constitution."
