Allow me to once again harp on my number one pet peeve .... the national debt.  This inflation article outlines what all this spending has wrought.  This article, The Fed Wanted to Declare Victory — Inflation Had Other Plans,  outlines the consequences of all these economic manipulations:

 The uncomfortable truth is that America’s economy has become addicted to artificially cheap money. The stock market wants cuts. Washington wants cuts because the national debt is more expensive to finance at higher rates. Borrowers want cuts because they are drowning in interest. But prices are telling a different story. Inflation is not dead. It is waiting for the next excuse to surge.

The facts indicate no one has any intention of cutting sending or reducing our national debt.  What's the interest on our national debt?  Daily Interest Payments:

• "Daily Interest: The Treasury pays over $2.8 billion to $3 billion per day in interest."
• "Total Annual Interest: Projected to reach $1 trillion in FY2026, and projected to hit $2.1 trillion by 2036."  

Insanity!  The federal government at all levels act like pigs at the trough with their spending.  Feeding the Government Pig - "Read the entire Pig Book report at CAGW.org and weep if you have any sense of personal responsibility and accountability." 

Regarding Trump's trip to China....I'm not confident Trump will do what needs to be done.  He's always been the negotiator, and his claim he's friends with Xi is troublesome, and I fear he will embrace a trade agreement that will merely continue funding China's efforts to destroy America.

 

Given the many issues involving China and it's goals, this will be the most important foreign policy issue Trump deals with, and a harbinger of things to come.  Make sure to read Ben Shapiro's article in the China section.  He gets it, China is our enemy by choice.
