Let's start with something that's not being discussed or addressed by anyone, the national debt, which currently is about to hit 39 trillion dollars representing "124% of the U.S. economy's gross domestic product".  Here's what it was in 2008.  The nation went from a debt of 10 trillion dollars to 39 trillion dollars in 18 years and there's no political leader taking the lead to fix that, including Trump.
