Democrat Party Lawfare

By Terry Payne

Editor's Note:  This is one of the commentaries selected from Robin's weekly newsletter Patriot Neighbors. Any cartoons appearing will have been added by me.  If you wish to get the full edition, E-mail her at PatriotNeighbors@yahoo.com to get on her list, it's free. RK

A recent opinion piece in my local newspaper listed symptoms from the Republican writer’s Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) affliction. The accusations serve to highlight how the GOP Idiot Savants (GIS) wing of the Republican Party is impervious to middle-class voters’ concerns about Democrat Party lawfare against Mr. Trump utilizing Democrat prosecutors, judges, juries, and George Soros funded Marxist district attorneys. GIS membership is characterized by a low political acumen (i.e., IQ 70) in every policy area except one – hypocrisy IQ 140.

Anti-Trumper Liz Cheney is President of GIS. Her legendary skills include destroying evidence that exonerated President Trump of insurrection charges investigated by the US House Select Committee Investigating the January 6th attack. GIS Vice President is anti-Trumper Adam Kinzinger who is skilled at emotional meltdowns and providing leftist commentary on the Clinton News Network (CNN).

The best antidote to TDS is to sample actions and policies of the Democrat Party and the Biden/Harris administration, that, our adversaries would have implemented had Harris/Walz won the election. As you read this list, say “Thank God Trump and Vance were elected!”

  • Opening the borders to millions of illegals who weren’t screened for their risks, dumping them into communities where they are overwhelming existing communities and the infrastructure.
  • Introducing economic policies and massively increase spending without regard to their impact on inflation and the consequences for low-income Americans and the increase in our deficit and national debt.
  • Withdrawing from Afghanistan, abandoning our local partners and the civilians who collaborated with us in an unprepared, overnight withdrawal that led to American casualties and destroyed the lives of Afghani women and girls for generations.
  • Introducing thousands of unnecessary regulations in addition to existing regulatory policies that interfere with our businesses’ ability to compete, restraining the development of desperately needed housing, infrastructure, and energy production.
  • Modifying the bail system so that violent criminals were released without bail. = Destroying our street retailers and communities and promoting lawlessness by making shoplifting (except above thresholds) no longer a criminal offense.
  • Limiting or banning fracking and LNG so that U.S. energy costs increased substantially and the U.S. loses its energy independence.
  • Promoting DEI ideologies that awarded jobs, awards, and university admissions on the basis of race, sexual orientation, and gender criteria, and teaching our students and citizens that the world is an unfair battle between oppressors and the oppressed.
  • Educating elementary children that gender is fluid, something to be chosen by a child, and promoting hormone blockers and gender reassignment surgeries to our youth without regard to the longer-term consequences to their mental and physical health.
  • Encouraging and celebrating massive protests and riots that led to the burning and destruction of local retail and business establishments while at the same time requiring schools to be closed because of the risk of Covid-19 spreading during gatherings.
  • Encouraging and celebrating anti-American and anti-Israel protests and flag burning on campuses around the country with no consequences for the protesters who violated laws or university codes and policies.
  • Allowing antisemitism to explode with no serious efforts from the administration to quell this hatred.
  • Mandating vaccines that have not been thoroughly tested nor have their risks been properly considered compared with the potential benefits adjusted for the age and health of the individual and censoring differing research of top scientists.
  • Litigating to make it illegal for states to require proof of citizenship, voter ID, and/or residence in order to vote when many Americans have lost confidence in the accuracy and trustworthiness of our voting system.

Dear GOP Idiot Savants and Democrat Marxists, this is a partial list of reasons many Americans avoided supporting Kamala Harris and instead voted for Donald Trump without reservation or apology.

Liz Cheney Almost Gets It: A GOP Realignment Is Inevitable

But the incessant never-Trumper still can’t grasp why she’s the one doing the leaving.

Liz Cheney Almost Gets It: A GOP Realignment Is Inevitable
Former US Representative and notable Never-Trumper Liz Cheney continued her bashing of former president and current Republican Party nominee Donald Trump and declared the GOP to be a dying entity due to its association with him. But along with her usual prattle, Cheney did speak an undeniable truth: A major political realignment is coming, and there is likely no way to avoid it now.

“There is certainly going to be a big shift, I think, in how our politics work – I don’t know exactly what that will look like,” Cheney told The New York Times’ White House correspondent Peter Baker at the 2024 Cap Times Idea Fest, an annual event hosted by Madison, Wisconsin, newspaper The Capital Times. “I think far too much has happened that’s too damaging,” she continued, dismissing the notion that the GOP establishment can simply return to business as usual after Trump finally exits the scene, whether that be in 2024 or January 2029.

This Is Not Her Father’s GOP

What happened, of course, is that a number of politicians comfortably aligned with the political status quo in Washington, DC, lost the influence it had on the Republican Party for close to 30 years with the Trump tsunami of 2016. Then, to its horror, it had to watch Trump become even more popular among the GOP grassroots after he was toppled from office in 2020.

What Cheney is perhaps finally coming to terms with is the fact that the ideas and beliefs represented by Trump have taken solid root among Republican voters. That it is not merely a cult of personality destined to evaporate as soon as the leading man leaves the stage.

The stark divide between Trump’s America First supporters and the pre-2016 Republican brand has only continued to grow during the tumultuous four years of the Biden administration. The plight of Springfield, Ohio, residents besieged by Haitian migrants who have poured into the town due to the so-called humanitarian parole immigration policies under Biden’s auspices speaks volumes.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine embodies pre-Trump, old-school GOP “conservatism.” The former longtime US House member and senator has unabashedly defended importing some 20,000 Haitians into a city of 59,000 because it is a boon for big business interests. Like Cheney, DeWine was happy to rely on a particular big-box media goliath to help give him a platform.

The Conservative Case for Cheap Foreign Labor

“Springfield is having a resurgence in manufacturing and job creation. Some of that is thanks to the dramatic influx of Haitian migrants who have arrived in the city over the past three years to fill jobs,” DeWine wrote in a September 20 op-ed for The New York Times. “They are there legally. They are there to work.”

That DeWine would shrug off the manipulation of immigration law inherent in Biden’s Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan (CHNV) migration program as perfectly lawful and emphasize top-down economic factors over cultural, social, and community well-being is another example of the enormous gulf separating the divided party.

Not to be outdone, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on September 24 slammed another America First tenet championed by Trump: tariffs. “I’m not a fan of tariffs. They raise the prices for American consumers. I’m more of a free-trade kind of Republican that remembers how many jobs are created by the exports that we engage in,” McConnell declared in response to Trump vowing to slap a 200% tariff on US farm equipment manufacturing icon John Deere if it moves production to Mexico.

Thus, in a matter of days, two veteran GOP establishment figures, one a sitting governor and the other the party leader in the upper chamber of Congress, came out in support of what many Trump backers regard as fundamentally unacceptable policy positions. DeWine steadfastly defended bringing in masses of foreigners to fill jobs inside the US while McConnell championed the right of corporations to outsource American jobs abroad.

This is the heart of the irreconcilable split that has Cheney correctly diagnosing political realignment as inevitable, even if she still refuses to understand why her style of politics is being harried out of the GOP.

The same drama is quietly playing out on the other side of the aisle, but with one major difference. Among Democrats, the forces of the establishment hold sway. While America First Republicans have successfully amassed power within the GOP, insurgent progressives have failed to do the same in the blue ranks. An unwanted Joe Biden was foisted upon them in 2020, and they could do nothing to stop it. Biden was then pushed through again in 2024, and when it became apparent he was physically not up to the task, his establishment-tethered vice president was handed the nomination without so much as a single vote being cast by the electorate.

It seems there are three major political blocs coalescing in the US today: America First, an ideologically motivated progressive left, and an insider establishment populated by both Democrats and Republicans. The realignment Cheney refers to is taking place of its own accord.

Benedict Arnold by Any Other Name, is Still a Traitor

By Rich Kozlovich

This piece is predicated on two American thinker articles that appeared today.  First, and I love the verbiage in this piece calling Kamala, "Willie Brown’s fourth-favorite mistress", a "low-I.Q. globalist puppet", " Tipsy Harris", and more.  A lot of chuckles in this J.B. Shurk piece, Dick Cheney Loves KamaLOL!!, saying:

Mainstream news propagandists are busy touting Dick Cheney’s endorsement of KamaLOL Harris and Tim the Walrus as proof that their brand of communism appeals to Americans across party lines.  I don’t know what’s funnier — that Democrats have become Cheney superfans or that they think his opinion holds any sway with conservative voters.  Ol’ Dick is about as popular among regular Republicans as Hillary Clinton is — which is to say, his endorsement is the kiss of death for any candidate unlucky enough to receive it. .....

He goes on to list, and to describe,  all these "Republican/RINO/faux conservatives/Democrats in disguise, as ...... Simps.  I really liked that word, short, sweet, and to the point, and goes on to show the corruption they're supporting, and and that includes Bush.  His analysis of Bush and Chaney doesn't paint a pretty picture.

It turns out Liz Cheney is really upset at the Republican party,  calling for a third party to replace the Republicans.... well... sort of....kinda.....maybe.  Let's look at this.

Liz  just can't see how anyone can vote for Republican candidates, because the Republicans support so much that's damaging, like defending the nation's borders, and needs to be reconstituted, as a third party ....maybe....  if someone would just do that for her.  Remarkable.

“Whether it’s organizing a new party — look, it’s hard for me to see how the Republican Party, given what it has done, can make the argument convincingly or credibly that people ought to vote for Republican candidates until it really recognizes what it’s done,” Ms. Cheney said at the Cap Times Idea Fest in Madison, Wis.

“There is certainly going to be a big shift, I think, in how our politics work,” she continued. “I don’t know exactly what that will look like. I don’t think it will just simply be, well, the Republican Party is going to put up a new slate of candidates and off to the races. I think far too much has happened that’s too damaging.”

A big shift?  A whole new slate of "Republican" candidates?  Well, there already is such a slate. They're called Democrats. So, Liz, good luck with that since it once again confirms you're not the brightest pebble in the brook.

She failed to realize to form a political party it takes a lot supporters, a lot of donations, and most importantly, a ton of voters, and there just aren't enough Kinzinger, Romney, and Kasich faux conservative nitwit, "RINO, uni-party globalist wing of neo-cons" to make that happen.  And there most certainly would not be enough Democrats who would jump on board to make it happen.

And while the Democrats have mastered the art of shutting down third parties, according to her, it's the Republicans who are anti-democratic.

The author goes on to show much of the hate directed at Trump, and Trump voters, is nothing more than a personal grudge by the Chaney cabal for winning support from the Republican base who just could no longer stand what the Republican leadership had become.

As you read this article it becomes even more clear there's something wrong with her mind, and that of her father.  The right despises the Chaney's, and the rest of the RINO nitwit brigade, and the left is laughing at all of them for the clownish useful idiots they are.   Totally and unbelievably clueless, and at the end of their lives they may die wealthy, but that's not what they take with them.

What they'll take with them is the same kind of contempt Benedict Arnold took with him to his grave, even the British officers looked down on him. He was probably the best general the Revolution had, but no one remembers that. They only thing everyone remembers is his treason, that's what they will leave behind for posterity.

P&D and The Week That Was

Truth is the Sublime Convergence of History and Reality

De Omnibus Dubitandum, (Everything is to be questioned!)

 By Rich Kozlovich

Well, the Road to Damascus is really filling up, as it looks like we have another convert.  Dershowitz has dropped out of the Democrat party for its blatant antisemitism.  Okay, I get that, but he just now noticed?  That's been going on for years with the Democrats.   The bugman saw that year ago, so if the bugman, who has no skin in that game could see that, how could Dershowitz, who has skin in that game, not see it?

What about all the other vile stuff they've been promoting for all of his life?   It must be assumed he supported all of their vile schemes and goals, or perhaps he just never noticed any of that also?  Amazing!  Well, this epiphany doesn't make up for all the damage he's supported for all these years, and at his age, he won't have to wait long to answer for it.

As I reported in last week's P&D, there's a sort of a reverse Road to Damascus epiphany for the Chaney's.  They're on board with voting for Kamala Harris because Trump is so dangerous to democracy he must not be allowed to get elected.  Okay, so, what's that conversion mean?

It means they now are in total support of federally mandated abortion on demand,  antisemitism, Islamic conversion of America, higher prices for all the essentials, higher energy costs, higher taxes, outrageous theft by the federal government on "unrealized capital gains", more regulations, more spending, more debt, more government bureaucracy, mass unrestricted illegal immigration, including paying for gender altering surgery for illegal aliens, the end of all restrictions on illegal drugs, including fentanyl, and less freedom.

But it's Trump, not Kamala, who is so dangerous to democracy he must be stopped at all costs according to the warped minds of the Chaney's!  They have no shame, and are a disgrace, they could care less the effect of their their ignorant/arrogant choice would do to America.  The right now despises them, the left is laughing at them, and the rest of the world could care less what they think.

These RINO's claim supporting Kamala will save the Republican party, as a "moderate" Democrat is better than Trump.  Kamala is a moderate?    What in the world passes for brains with these people?  They can't possibly believe that.  Amazing, it wasn't long ago they were calling her a radical left wing nitwit.  I have to believe they've been reaping financial rewards having the federal government structured as it is, and it's destroying America, but they don't want that faucet turned off and they fear that's what Trump will do, otherwise, that kind of thinking is insane.   Actually, it's not only insane, it's treasonous, because if the Obama cabal continues in power, there will be no America.

At the end of their lives they may be financially well off, but when you're despised by the descent people you betrayed, that's what you take to the grave with you, not the money.  Just like Benedict Arnold, probably the best and most successful general the Revolution had, but no one remembers that, nor do they care.  They only remember the betrayal.  Americans despised him, and the Brits we're ashamed of him.   That's what he took to his grave.

Today I'm offering ten commentaries of my own, and I worked for hours on the abortion article, so I hope it resonates, as that's an issue I'm most passionate about, and I think I've presented rational arguments against it based on a solid moral foundation and facts.  There are also twenty four commentaries by others I think you will find thought provoking, and the four permanent links.
