Election 2024: What Do You Believe?

Definition leads to clarity!

By Rich Kozlovich

As the 2024 Election is only eight months away we're seeing more hyperbolic lies, obfuscation, misdirection, and quite frankly, irrational and blatantly insane rhetoric supporting insane positions than I've seen in my almost 78 years.  What really surprises me is how many seemingly normal people are confused about who they think will be the best candidate for President or even Congress.

In Ohio there were three Republican candidates running for the Senate against Sherrod Brown, Bernie Moreno, Matt Dolan and Secretary of State Frank LaRose.  The only legitimate America first conservative was Bernie Moreno, who won with 50.5% of the vote.  But Ohio’s Republican leadership, including Governor DeWine, came out in support of Dolan. He and the other candidate were exposed as Mitt Romney RINO clones, which I clearly outline in my two articles, The Ohio Senate Race, and Ohio Senate Race, Part II, and yet Dolan and LaRose garnered 49.5% combined.   If Trump and Senator JD Vance hadn't supported Moreno, he might have lost.  What were they thinking?

This is an irrational pattern I see playing out all over the nation, and truth be told, all over the western world.  What are are people thinking?  So, that makes me wonder what they believe, and maybe it's just that people are confused.  So, I've outlined a number of questions to eliminate confusion over this election asking 25 questions about what they believe.

Do You Believe:

  1. Government is the answer, not the problem.
  2. Unrestricted spending is good for the long term economic health of the nation.
  3. Unrestricted borrowing won't cause bankruptcy.
  4. Unrestricted taxation is good economics.
  5. The government should impose a minimum wage of $20.00 an hour.
  6. Unrestricted immigration is good for the nation.
  7. Illegal immigrants should have free rent, free food, free medical care, and job preferences over American citizens.
  8. The government should have unrestricted power to censor your speech if that speech is in opposition to government polices.
  9. The media is unbiased.
  10. Education in America is doing a fine job.
  11. Academia isn't corruptly promoting Marxism.
  12. Science can be trusted.
  13. Lawfare is about saving democracy in America.
  14. Civilian ownership of guns should be banned.
  15. Children should have an unrestricted right to gender transition, overturning parental rights.
  16. Abortion isn't murder of the innocent unborn.
  17. We should abandon fossil fuels in favor of alternative energy.
  18. That global warming is the world's greatest threat.
  19. The greatest threat to American democracy is white supremacy.
  20. Diversity, equity, and inclusion without accomplishment isn't incompetence without consequence.
  21. Black Americans should receive reparations.
  22. Israel should be forced to accept an semi-independent terrorist nation that's committed to their destruction as part of Israel.
  23. America should send unlimited, unrestricted, and untracked funding to Ukraine, with no time restrictions.
  24. Capitalism is bad and Marxism is good.
  25. Christianity is bad and Islam is good.

Well then, if you believe all those things, here's what we know.  You believe the Constitution is an impediment to human progress, Biden and all the Democrat party candidates will be your choice, you really are confused, and you're nuts.

See, definition really does lead to clarity!
