Patriot Neighbors: Saving "Our" Democracy

“The left is waging lawfare with the implicit message to political opponents: Either keep quiet or suffer the consequences.” —Victor Davis Hanson

By Robin Itzler

Commentaries and insights selected from Robin's weekly newsletter Patriot Neighbors. Cartoons may  be added by me.  I often triage her newsletter to fit my blog, so if you wish to get the full edition,   E-mail her at PatriotNeighbors@yahoo.com to get on her list, it's free.   Let's start here:

STATE OF THE UNION: It’s a mess

Anyone who regularly follows the news knows that the United States of America is in a mess with Joe Biden sitting in the White House. His mental acuity issues (dementia?) are seen on an almost daily basis. But for big events, such as the State of the Union, it’s claimed that the “Big Guy” is given multiple drugs to help him get through reading a teleprompter for one hour. Others question if it was even him at the podium screaming like a raving maniac.

As soon as Biden went off the teleprompter, he messed up. Rather than say Laken Riley, the name of the Georgia college student who was murdered by an ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADER, Biden said, “Lincoln Riley,” a football coach. On the positive side, Biden didn’t need help getting off the stage.

BIDEN: Rapists, murderers & terrorists are “newcomers”

When Biden entered the Oval Office following the fraudulent 2020 presidential election (81 MILLION votes … ROFL) he and his puppeteers immediately undid everything that was put in place by President Donald Trump to secure our southern border. At the time, many Americans were dumbfounded. Doesn’t Biden and his puppeteers know what will happen if the border is left wide open? The answer is that destroying the United States was ALWAYS their plan and having 10 MILLION (and growing) illegal alien invaders is the easiest way to destroy America.

The Uniparty is thrilled. For Democrats, illegal aliens are future Democrat voters while RINO Republicans see the invaders as cheap labor.

The results of this invasion—and that’s what it is—are now coming to blue cities and their residents. Infinite rampant crime that is destroying lives and businesses. Perps arrested by dedicated law enforcement officers but then George Soros district attorneys put them back out on the street within hours to commit more crime.

Now, blue cities are giving American citizens the middle finger. In New York City, they emptied a school to house the aliens. In Chicago, they want to use community centers in poor neighborhoods. In Denver, Colorado they are laying off employees to find the money to pay for all the illegal alien invaders. Oops, we mean “newcomers.” From Denver Channel 9 News:

The City of Denver is trying to avoid the word “layoffs” when it comes to impending budget cuts. So instead, they’re telling some hourly on-call employees they may have their hours reduced to zero.

"The reduction in hours of operation and programs will affect the number of hours worked by many on-call, some to the point where they may not receive any hours," a statement from Denver Parks and Recreation Director Jolon Clark read in-part. "The final decisions on hours for any individual position have not been made yet."

The department is working to cut $4.3 million to help the city pay for the migrant crisis. Mayor Mike Johnston said Monday it hasn’t been decided which jobs will have their hours cut and by how much.

"We have not made any final decisions on cuts other than the ones that we announced already," Johnston said. "All of our departments, all of our agencies, we’re going to have to find a way to prioritize."

So, why are Democrats destroying the United States by allowing MILLIONS of unvetted ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS into our country? On March 7, Elon tweeted the answer on X/Twitter:

“Most Americans are still unaware that the census counts ALL people, including illegal immigrants, for deciding how many House seats each state gets! This results in Dem states getting roughly 20 more House seats, which is another strong incentive for them not to deport illegals.”

When will Republican leadership call for a day of national peaceful rallies to protest the destruction of our great nation?

SUPREME COURT RULING: What others said

For the last few months, radical Democrat socialists have been screaming, “MAGA SCOTUS” as if to imply the conservative justices will do what Donald Trump wants and the liberal justices will say no. But on March 4 the Supreme Court issued a UNANIMOUS ruling. Conservatives and liberals on the United States Supreme Court spoke as one voice in a 9-0 decision ruling that states cannot remove a presidential candidate based on the 14th Amendment. Only Congress can do that.

As a quick review of progressive insanity:

  • Colorado’s seven-member Supreme Court justices are all Democrat. Four agreed to remove Donald Trump from the ballot.
  • Maine’s appointed – not elected – secretary of state removed Donald Trump from the ballot.
  • A TRAFFIC JUDGE in Illinois removed Donald Trump from the ballot.

On March 4, the Supreme Court of the United States of America voted 9-0 against state’s having the right to remove Donald Trump (or any presidential candidate) from their state’s ballot. The US Constitution has three requirements to be president:

  • Be a natural-born citizen of the United States.
  • Be at least 35 years old.
  • Have been a resident of the United States for 14 years.

What did others say following the Supreme Court’s ruling?

DONALD TRUMP, 45th President of the United States; presidential candidate:

Truth Social and speech to the nation: “BIG WIN FOR AMERICA!” “I think it is a very big day for America. It’s a very big day for liberty. It’s just a great day for this country. Again, I hope it is unifying like I think. It is a big step toward unification.”

JENA GRISWOLD, Colorado Secretary of State – X/Twitter

“My larger reaction is disappointment. I do believe that states should be able under our constitution to bar oath breaking insurrectionists. Ultimately, this decision leaves open or leaves open the door for Congress to act to pass authorizing legislation, but we know that Congress is a nearly non functioning body. So ultimately, it will be up to the American voters to save our democracy in November."

JONATHAN TURLEY, Constitutional Law Attorney and Georgetown University Law Professor (and Democrat) – Excerpts from his op-ed column on the Supreme Court’s ruling.

“The problem for many on the left is that the unanimous decision shattered the narrative repeated for months that Colorado would be reversed because the conservative justices would robotically protect Trump (despite the fact that they have repeatedly ruled against Trump and his policies). Now, by Rep. Raskin's measure, Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor are no longer acting as "real Supreme Court justices."

“The fact is that the Supreme Court justices have proved, again, that they are precisely the "real Supreme Court justices" that the Founding Fathers envisioned. The court was created to be able to transcend our divisions and politics. On Monday, a court sharply divided along ideological grounds showed the nation that it could speak with one voice. In doing so, it spoke to the things that bind us to each other, including an article of faith in our Constitution that defines us all.

DONNA F. EDWARDS, former Democrat Congresswoman – MSNBC

"Well, I think this Court is exactly where it doesn't want to be in doesn't need to be and that is right in the middle of an election. Not since Bush v. Gore, when we see a court just have this many opportunities to interfere in the election going forward."

BYRON DONALDS, Republican Florida Representative – American Agenda on Newsmax

"This is a monumental decision. The right decision by the Supreme Court. The tragic thing is that it didn't need to even be this way."

JAMIE RASKIN, Democrat Maryland Representative – CNN

"I am working with a number of my colleagues, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Eric Swalwell to revive legislation that we had to set up a process by which we could determine that someone who committed insurrection is disqualified by Section 3 of the 14th Amendment."

ANDREW NAPOLITANO, former New Jersey Superior Court Judge – Newsmax

"I am delighted that it was a unanimous decision, and I'm thrilled that it was an apolitical decision, a decision that Clarence Thomas and Ketanji Brown Jackson and everybody in between can agree with."

We will close with some humor:

NIKKI HALEY, former South Carolina governor; presidential candidate – Houston, Texas campaign stop prior to Super Tuesday:

“Look I’ll defeat Donald Trump fair and square, but I want him on that ballot.”

BIDENOMICS SUCCESS STORIES

AGAIN, the federal government revised its past reports and they are all negative to the Biden administration. How convenient that this was announced the day after the state of the union.

  • Of the February 275,000 jobs, HALF are government jobs OR government related (i.e., health care, social services, etc.). This is not how a free capitalist society succeeds.
  • December and January jobs were revised DOWN from the 353,000 that made headlines to 229,000.
  • Ten of the last 12 months jobs reports were revised DOWN. So, that’ll likely happen to the February jobs reports. However, the revision down doesn’t get the same media attention. Do you think this is all done on purpose?
  • After inflation is factored in, real wages FELL for 25 straight months.
  • In the past year, the United States has created 921,000 PART-TIME jobs and LOST 284,000 FULL-TIME jobs.

In February, there were 15,000 layoffs in at least 74 major tech companies. According to Challenger, Gray and Christmas, in January U.S. companies announced 82,307 job cuts, which is more than double the number in December 2023. (But still down 20 percent from a year ago.) Let’s look at a sampling of Bidenomics success stories:

  • American Airlines (air travel) – Will lay off 656 employees in its customer support department (335 in Phoenix and 321 in Dallas-Forth Worth).
  • Apple (electric vehicles) – Their unreleased electric car will never make it to market. Approximately 2,000 employees could be affected by closing this division.
  • Bloomin’ Brands (restaurants) – The company revealed in a recent earnings call that it closed 41 “underperforming locations” across the brands it owns, including Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s.
  • Bell Media (media & entertainment) – Has decided to end multiple television newscast following its parent company layoff announcement (re the sale of 45 of its 103 regional radio stations). Thus, the parent company will lay off about 5,000 employees with 10 percent at Bell Media.
  • Bumble (dating app) – Is saying goodbye to 350 positions or about 30 percent of its workforce.
  • Disney (entertainment) – The animation until will reportedly lay off as many as 1,300 employees, or 20 percents of its staff. Profitability continues to lag, and Disney box office results are struggling. (Can someone say, “Woke!”)
  • Expedia (online travel) – Will cut approximately 1,500 positions, mostly in the company’s Product & Technology division. Northrop Grumman (aerospace and defense) – Is cutting as many as 1,000 jobs at Space Park in Redondo Beach.
  • Sony (interactive entertainment) – Announced in late February that it will cut 900 employees of its Playstation gaming division (about 8 percent of its workforce) across several company locations.
  • United Parcel Service (UPS) (logistics and supply chain) – Managers and contractors will help make up the 12,000 job cuts as the company seeks to save $1 billion in costs.
  • Warner Music Group (entertainment) – Although WMG reported record fourth quarter 2023 earnings results, they will be laying off 600 employees, about 10 percent of its staff.

SURGE PRICING COULD BE COMING

As most people who grocery shop know, price jumps are usually not a few pennies. But eating IN still remains cheaper than eating OUT. For example, in southern California an El Pollo Loco coupon that expired on February 21 was replaced with a new coupon that expires in May. But look – the discounted $8 chicken tostada in February is now discounted to $10 through May. That’s a 25 percent increase for the same item! ¡Eso no es bueno!

Many restaurants that cater to lower– and middle-income patrons have diligently kept their meals as low as possible while increasing the cost of hot and cold beverages, alcoholic drinks, and dessert. They’ve also added surcharges to cover increased costs, but we wonder if patrons reduce their tips accordingly.

What is coming next, especially for fast-food restaurants, is surge pricing! There will be digital menus with prices changing based on the time of day. A hamburger at 10 AM, when a restaurant is between the breakfast and lunch crowds, will cost less than the same hamburger purchased at noon.

Fast-food chain Wendy’s CEO Kirk Tanner announced during a February 15 call with investors and shareholders that the company plans to spend $20 million to install digital menus and have them in use by 2025 to have surge pricing.

HOWEVER, after this went public, Wendy’s got a lot of pushback on its plan that was seen as price gouging. The company quickly retreated, announcing that Tanner’s statements were “misconstrued.” We believe that surge pricing is on the horizon for all types of restaurants, but Wendy’s doesn’t want to go it alone.

Surge pricing is already here:

  • Restaurants offer early-bird dinner specials or weekday lunch specials.
  • Hotels offer cheaper rates during the week or off-season.
  •  Airlines flights are cheaper when there’s inconvenient arrival or departure times.

Eventually full-service restaurants will get rid of physical menus and only have digital boards, making it easier and less noticeable to increase prices. Now, isn’t Bidenomics wonderful?! A recent US Foods surveys finds Americans spend an average of $166 per month dining out.

QUESTION: What do these nations have in common?

You might think these four nations have little in common, but they do!

  • Singapore
  • Switzerland
  • Ireland
  • Taiwan

What do they have in common?

ANSWER: These nations have freest economy

According to the 2024 Index of Economic Freedom Singapore, Switzerland, Ireland, and Taiwan (in that order) have the freest economies in the world. The study found that the United States continues to decline in economic freedom. Its score plunged to 70.1, its lowest level in the index’s 30-year history. Another important reason we need Donald Trump back in the White House.

BYE NIKKI: A RINO finally leaves the campaign

On the REPUBLICAN side, Nikki Haley’s audition for an MSNBC hosting job ended the day after Super Tuesday. Had all the early Republican primaries been just for Republicans (as it was in California), she might have left sooner. Instead, Haley received Democrat votes and kept imagining those voters would stick with her in November. (Input laughing emoji here.)

On the INDEPENDENT side, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. made a FIFTH request for Secret Service protection. Homeland Security Director Alejandro Mayorkas has repeatedly denied the request. (Mayorkas seems to like Americans dying at the hands of illegal alien invaders, so why would he care about a presidential candidate?)

Also, Kennedy’s campaign has said it has secured enough signatures to be on the Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, South Carolina and Utah ballots. Forbes cited several polls that show Kennedy hurts Biden more than Trump. Adding Cornel West and Green Party Jill Stein along with Kennedy still shows they would draw more votes from Biden than Trump.

On the DEMOCRAT side, there are many who had hoped the March 7 State of the Union speech would be a reset for Joe Biden insofar as the questions about his mental acuity. Biden was off the radar prior to the speech (including ANOTHER vacation, this time at Camp David). We can only guess that Biden was given meds to get through the speech. Was it a successful reset outside of core radical socialist Democrats who think the Big Guy is doing a great job? That would be like asking if Custer’s last stand was a success.

In a recent opinion column, New York Post columnist Michael Goodwin, explains why Republicans lose:

“...Dems play by the cutthroat rules formerly ascribed to leaders of the Soviet Union: What’s mine is mine, what’s yours is negotiable.”

One of Goodwin’s examples:

“… despite a historically-narrow House margin and internal splits, Republicans took the rare step of expelling one of their own, George Santos, after he was indicted on federal charges.

A Democrat, Tom Suozzi, recently won the special election for the New York seat. By comparison, Dems control the razor-tight Senate, but there was no push to expel one of their own, New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez, who was indicted on more serious charges, which included being a foreign agent.”

CALIFORNIA SENATE PRIMARY

What others wrote about California’s primary for U.S. Senate, Joe Cunningham, columnist at Red State:

“The bad news is that we will have to deal with Schiff being a smug and overconfident little man in the Senate, but he won't have the power he had in the House. There, he was protected and elevated by Pelosi. Chuck Schumer has his own agenda and his own allies, and with the Senate map looking like it does, Schiff could very well end up in the minority party by the time we get to 2025.”

Various reporters analyzing Super Tuesday - Politico

Down the ballot, gamesmanship seemed to pay off for Adam Schiff as he coasted through the state’s top-two primary alongside a Republican who he is all but certain to beat.

Ken Tran and Rachel Barber – USA Today

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and former baseball star and Republican Steve Garvey will face off in November after securing the most votes in the California Senate race on Super Tuesday − turning what was a bitter and hotly contested Senate race into an uncompetitive election. Garvey advancing to the general election all but secures the race for Schiff. In liberal California, no Republican has won a California Senate election since 1988 when incumbent Pete Wilson won re-election for a second term.

A Democratic-on-Democratic general election (Adam Schiff vs Katie Porter) risked taking up valuable campaign resources that could instead go to more competitive states that will be critical in determining the Senate majority such as Montana, Ohio, and Arizona. With Schiff as the remaining Democrat going into the general election, Democrats will have slightly better odds of holding on to the Senate majority.

Many GOP PACs say Garvey can’t win where Dems outnumber Reps 2:1. They will spend their money in more competitive races in other states. Do you disagree? Then donate!

ARE WE NOW A RADICAL SOCIALIST NATION?

Some recent events that make us wonder if the republic can be saved.

TEXAS—Most of the Lone Star state remains solid red, but a lot of its recent population growth is coming in blue areas (see letter to editor below). Remember, in 2018, Senator Ted Cruz won re-election against the hapless “Beto” O’Rourke by only three points—just three points! Remember also that California and Colorado were once deep red states. It happened in California and Colorado; it can happen in Texas.

Austin is deep blue. So, it was no surprise that the Austin City Council voted in 2020 to defund the police department. As crime grows due to fewer police officers on staff, wait times for police increases. Finally, some citizens are connecting the dots. Recently, the shortages had a portion of the city without any police officers for several hours. This is what the left wants: crime, fear, and anarchy. Austin Police Association President Michael Bullock on Fox News Digital:

"Previous councils and leadership have actively worked against our officers and department, which has now put us in a free-falling staffing crisis. Twice now we’ve had our contract voted down or it has been allowed to expire. Each year since 2017, we’ve lost more officers than we’ve hired. We had to gut our specialized units and force detectives to work backfill on patrol just to try and respond to 911 calls."

INTERNATIONAL:

BRITISH EMPIRE—We use the term “British Empire” loosely these days. Does England even exist the way most Americans think of the once global leader? If you visit London, you’re likely to see more pro-Hamas flags than Union Jack flags. Now there is a movement in Great Britain and other crown nations/former colonies to replace BC and AD so timelines do not reference Jesus Christ. The BBC has already implemented, and some educational institutions have followed:

  • “BC,” which stands for “Before Christ,” has been replaced with “BCE,” which means Before Common Era.
  • “AD,” which is short for anno Domino or “In the Year of Our Lord,” has been replaced with “CE,” which stands for “Common Era.”
  • “Will America Survive Multiculturalism and Diversity?” by Frosty Woodbridge.

IS THE TIDE TURNING TO FREEDOM?

With our prayers and involvement, we must have hope of saving our republic. Let’s look at some recent wins that show the tide might be turning in the direction of Conservative Judeo-Christian values. However, we need Republican LEADERSHIP, which seems to be in short supply.

FLORIDA—The University of Florida has FIRED all its diversity, equity, and inclusion employees, per a new Florida law. The law bans Florida colleges and universities from spending money on DEI initiatives. To thank Gov. DeSantis for signing the legislation:

SAN FRANCISCO—Bob Melvin, the new manager of the San Francisco Giants, issued a policy that every person in the Giants’ dugout must stand when The Star-Spangled Banner is played. Not just the nine players who will take the field. EVERYONE! From the bat boy to the coaches and all Giants personnel, too. This also includes those in the bullpen. To thank Manager Melvin:

INTERNATIONAL—

EL SALVADOR: If in 2019, someone had told you that El Salvador would be safer than Democrat-run cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Baltimore, and New York, you would have thought the person was deranged. But that appears to be the case as the government of President Nayib Bukele (who spoke at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference aka CPAC) can proudly claim. Once known as the murder capital of the world, the Bukele government understands that leftists’ policies are the foundation for a society’s destruction.

El Salvador’s Education Minister José Mauricio Pineda posted on social media:

“We have removed every use or trace of gender ideology from public schools. ...Given the misinformation that is circulating in the videos published by this account, we want clarify that all this content has been expelled from guides, books and other educational materials that were made and disseminated previously.”

Patriot Neighbors welcomes sharing readers’ opinions.  This op-ed is in response to Robin Itzler’s American Thinker column, “Shameful Jews Care More About Hamas Than Israel”

AMERICAN JEWS MUST WAKE UP!

by Robert R. — Washington  Excellent, excellent article.

I have been screaming about this for several years especially to my old Jewish friends and roommates from my days at UCLA back in the 1980s. It just boggles my mind that so many American Jews are Democrats. Especially after Biden and Obama have enabled and embolden Iran, the arch enemy of Israel, and it is not far off that Tel Aviv will turn and burn into glass from an Iranian nuclear weapon incinerating millions of Jews…again. Why must we see history repeat itself with another holocaust because of an inability to grasp the common sense decisions that face us again today as did earlier generations faced before us?

It is not a matter of “if” anymore after the multiple Biden-Obama hard cash giveaways to Iran and a hands-off foreign policy allowing Iran to have one nuclear weapon at least most assuredly by now. It is only a matter of “when” as both Biden and Obama have allowed this certainty to manifest as well as the tens of thousands of Jewish-Americans who have cast their votes for this disastrous foreign policy to be maintained and expanded.

American Jews are driving nails into the future coffins of millions of Jews and they just either do not seem to care, are too stupid to see things as they truly are, or a mixture of both. Either way Jews are headed for another holocaust and American Jews had better wake up before it is too late if it is not already.

Thank you for authoring this article, Robin. It still astounds my mind how many Jews in America are so stupid and ignorant to continue to support the Biden-Obama regime, two of the worst presidents in U.S. history and two of the worst alleged leaders in all of world history. Excellent article again thank you.

I would also like to thank Dr. Stephen Spiegel of UCLA who taught the Arab Israeli conflict at UCLA for many years and gave me the knowledge to discuss these issues with a non-biased point of view also known as “common sense.”

Keep up the good work, but I fear this battle is not about good vs evil anymore, but sheer stupidity vs common sense AKA what is right vs awfully wrong.

I support Israel in the elimination of every Hamas member on the planet now. I do not care how long it takes, and bulldoze that place called Gaza into the sea once and for all if that is what is required. Israel’s been far too kind to the refugees a.k.a. terrorists for way too many years.

They gave Arafat a Nobel peace prize…that murderer of women and children in 1994. It still astonishes my mind that event even occurred, and he was nothing more than a common murderer and garden variety terrorist…there is no negotiating with these savages. Bring nothing but death and destruction to Hamas, Hezbollah, and any other Iranian proxy. And by God, save Israel. Anything less is unacceptable for the survival of the Jewish State of Israel.

DORITOS GOES BUD LIGHT

We are guessing that Doritos chips did internal polling and discovered that a majority of its customers are men who like to dress as women. Why else did the European Doritos Spain branch have trans Samantha Hudson as its brand ambassador? This was unveiled in s 50-second promo called "Crunch Talks." PepsiCo Spain is the parent company. According to Newsweek: The Spanish artist, who has a YouTube channel sharing fashion and beauty tips, has been slammed online after old sexualized tweets that she allegedly wrote about children resurfaced.

UPDATE: The outrage resulted in Mr. Hudson being removed from the Doritos promotion. You still might want to share your thoughts with FritoLay CEO Steven Williams:

FAITH, FAMILY AND COUNTRY No matter how depressing the news is, we must never give up our belief in faith, family, and country. As we welcome the autumn season pray for our country, President Trump and J6 prisoners! “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

COMMENTS FROM OUR READERS

We learn so much from our wonderful Patriot Neighbors readers. We will start with letters about Robin’s American Thinker article on pro-Hamas Jews:

KITTY B.—TEXAS

I just read your article and found it to be very interesting. I am not Jewish, but I have often wondered why so many Jews are Democrats. It just seems so counter-intuitive. I have read many books and watched many movies about WWII and the Holocaust and cannot fathom that any human being can be anti-Semitic. After October 7th I bought a necklace, and have worn it ever since, that has a cross in the middle with a star of David around it to show my support, as a Christian, for Israel and Jewish people around the world. I hope Israel understands that there are many Americans that are supporting and praying for them.

Thank you, Kitty! At a September Israel event, I received a red, white and blue Star of David. Recently, a friend gave me a red, white and blue cross. I made them into one pin. Christians and Jews of faith must stand together.

Al R.—CALIFORNIA

Hi Robin, I read your American Thinker column “Shameful Jews Care More About Hamas Than Israel” based on your attending the “Stand with Israel” luncheon. I was at that luncheon and would have introduced myself, but because you aren't a narcissist, you don't put your picture into your newsletter so I didn't know who you were until today. When I read your piece, I googled your face, and next time I'll say hello. I think you left out the best part of the story. After you quoted the man's ridiculous question, you should have put in Oren's one-word answer: "Yes!"

I'm enjoying your weekly blast, especially the jokes. Thanks!

Thank you, Al.

I hope we meet at a future pro-Israel event.

GENE D.—TEXAS

As a follow-up to your humorous California vs Texas language translation, Texas is turning blue in each of the urban centers: - Austin - Houston - San Antonio - Dallas-Fort Worth Lots of problems in each city/region. Same story. Sanctuary cities.

Thank you, Gene.  My husband and I will stay and fight to save California. Hope you can save Texas.

RONNI REDMOND—CALIFORNIA

This is the letter to the editor that I sent to the Santa Cruz Sentinel:

I appreciate and understand a liberal newspaper in a liberal community with predominately liberal readers, endorsing a liberal candidate for any position, and especially for the U. S. Senate. However, the reasoning for your choice seems a bit flawed. I quote, "Adam Schiff (D). His prosecutor-like insistence on holding Donald Trump responsible for his actions is enough reason to elect him......"

I believe it's irresponsible that you choose to not mention the House Censure of Adam Schiff, a censure which was in part for the very reason you're praising him. He was censured in June, 2023 for lying to Congress and to the American people and that shouldn't be taken lightly, let alone ignored. "He can't take that back" in the words of his opponent. And neither can you, the day before a national election. Liberals and conservatives both deserve better.

Thank you, Ronni. I hope they published your letter.

ELISHA G.—ARIZONA

Thank you for your newsletter. I read it all. People do not realize how bad things are right now in America. Vladimir Putin sentenced Alexi Navalny to 19 years in prison (before killing him). Joe Biden’s DOJ sentenced J6er Enrique Tarrio to 22 years.

Thank you, Elisha. The FBI continues to go after anyone who was in DC on January 6, 2021.

MARY LOU J.—CALIFORNIA

I am so proud of my daughter Jennifer. She is the coordinator and lead team member who worked tirelessly for several months to create the California High Patrol funded (along with several donations) film, Every Fifteen Minutes. This film was made with the hope of saving our most precious children from being the tragic results of drunk driving. The entire City of Norco worked together to make this film possible. You can view this video on the CHiP website or on YouTube. Warning: it is graphic as it’s meant to portray the actual events of a crash involving teenagers who have been drinking.

Mary Lou, you should be very proud of Jennifer! Link below to “Every Fifteen Minutes.”

LAUGH, CRY OR SAY AMEN: Laughter helps us to get through this Democrat mess we are in.  ("My Picks, RK)

  1. I no longer identify as a “conspiracy theorist.” You may now refer to me as “that bitch that was right the entire time.
  2. If anyone wants to experience a third-world nation, Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco are nice this time of the year.
  3. Medicine across the globe: United States: “This surgery is going to cost you $62,000.” Great Britain: “I can operate on you in 42 months.” Canada: “Kill yourself.”
  4. Somewhere, somebody is thinking of you and the tremendous impact you made on their life. It’s not me. I think you’re an idiot.
  5. For Sale: My White Privilege Card Over 50 years old, but in mint condition. Never been used. Reason for selling: It hasn’t done anything for me! No free college, no free food, no free housing, no free medical, no free anything. I’ve had to go to work every day for all those things while paying a boatload of taxes to carry those who chose not to work. If interested, I prefer cash, but am willing to trade for a Victim Card which is widely accepted and comes with countless benefits.
  6. Conservative: What offends you now? Liberal: They haven’t told me yet.
  7. If guns kill people, then pencils misspell words, cars drive drunk, and spoons make people fat.
  8. An older couple is finishing dinner in the restaurant: Server: And now what may I bring you for dessert? Husband: Nothing for me, I’m stuffed. Wife: I couldn’t eat another bite. Server: Dessert is included with the meal. Husband: Double fudge brownie! Wife: Cherry cheesecake!
  9. Coffee comes from plants. So, technically I’ve had five salads today
