Another short list today with three commentaries, one by me, and while many of my readers and friends won't like it, I think my article properly defines this Russo/Ukrainian War, and definition is what leads to clarity, understanding and good decision making. Hyperbole, misdirection, misinformation and ideology lead to foggy decision making. Foggy decision making leads to bad outcomes.
There's only two links today, and the theme for today is much the same as most days. Big government and bad information leads to corruption of thought and a failure in definition, which the cartoon highlights.
Over the years as a result of my articles I've managed to offend an awful lot of people, some claiming I say unkind things. And in fact, I've gotten so good at it I've just about a poster boy for that ability. But truth isn't anything but the truth, and truth and time are on the same side, and usually, on my side. Seeing patterns more quickly than others is a bit of a curse, because most aren't ready to hear the conclusion of those insights, and those insights, even when factual, can be offensive to the preconceived notions of society in general. But nothing is ever as it appears.....ever! We must be willing to look behind the curtain.
Here's what it comes down to, following the facts no matter where they lead, and a solid foundation of the history behind every issue lends itself to clarity. When it comes to human actions and activity, the patterns of life repeat over and over again. There really isn't anything new under that sun, and truth isn't unkind, it's just the truth.
Enjoy!
