For more years than I can recount California was called the "land of fruits and nuts" and for reasons no one had to explain, since everyone knew and understood why.
That example will ruin us all. Once called the “land of fruits and
nuts,” California has now risen to become the “prototype for all social
and environmental experiments in the United States.” If the news is to be believed, California proudly leads the country
in its dictatorial, invasive, unfair policies aimed at its citizens.
These are almost too numerous to mention and have been addressed in
depth by those covering the exodus of Californians to other freer
states.
Well, California has now declared they're not going to allow any cars to be sold in California after 2035 unless they're electric cars. And exactly how are they going to power them? With "green electricity" of course!
What happens when the battery has to be replaced in these cars, that take forever to recharge, and has limited distances for travel?
An American EV owner who takes road trips between Cheyenne and Casper in Wyoming recently revealed that his first trip of 178 miles took a staggering 15 hours to complete in his electric Nissan Leaf.
Well, at some point these electric car owners will be going to go into culture shock, finding the replacement cost of a new battery is a paltry $20,000. At some point that will cost more than the car is worth, and what do they do with an electric car with a battery that can no longer be charged? Dump it. Now, that's really good economic and environmental thinking! Right?
Let's get real, "green electricity" is an illusion, as Europe is now learning, so what are European nations doing? Watch out now......here it comes........they're returning to coal! And watch out now, here it come again... Europe is turning back to nuclear energy, and Greta Thunberg approves. Imagine that! You have to wonder if perhaps, just perhaps, they're now thinking that maybe, just maybe, it wasn't such a good idea to base their economy on the tantrums of a scientifically illiterate, ignorant spoiled teenage Swedish brat with emotional problems?
Well, it appears California has adults also suffering from The Thunberg Syndrome, which is going to create some serious problem for California, and Governor Newsom, just like Greta, both of whom are big on rhetoric and short on answers, doesn't have the answers to the very real questions about the cost of energy in California and the loss of revenue of his policies. And idiot car makers are going along with this implying the rest of the nation will have to follow.
So, Ronald Stein asks this question: Does America Have to Follow California Down the Dead-End Road of Failing Energy? where he states what should be obvious to the most casual observer:
California’s energy policies are leading us down the road to an economic disaster. But it’ll be more than just Californians who pay. Unfortunately, California’s policies may drag other countries — the auto industry as a whole — down with it. In the end, modern society cannot sustain itself without the thousands of products made using fossil fuels. And even if it could, slave labor is used to manufacture the green sources of electricity used globally. And no one mentions the destructive environmental impact that renewables have.
This is a state where it costs one point seven million dollars to build one, just one, public toilet, and the rest of the nation is expected to think California is the future of America? And Governor Newsome will lead the way as the next, or at the very least some time President of the United States.
