Today's P&D is a short list with four commentaries, two by me with another offering by me called:
Which starts with John Fetterman, who the left stream media, and some Democrats, think did just fine in debate with Oz, and was a credit to his party, and America. Then there are others who think it's possible, just possible, he's not the brightest pebble in the brook, and maybe, just maybe, he didn't do so well.
Imagine that.
It's Friday, and I'm done until Monday, and I still have a couple of outside projects to finish, including some painting which has to be done while the temperature is still high enough. After that, I expect to have a lot of time on my hands. I really like retirement. Before I had a job that seriously interfered with my life.
Now that winter is approaching I will have a lot of time on my hands, and will be reading more books and following the commentaries on the geopolitical sites to which I've subscribed. One of the things I've discovered is there's an awful lot of stuff going on out there in the world, and much of it is disastrous. Two billion people in the world suffer from food shortages, one billion have issues with safe drinking water and another two billion live is squalor. Unfortunately, I just couldn't work all of that into what I've been doing. Ergo, I'm thinking of an evening edition, or an occasional evening edition dealing strictly geopolitics. Short commentaries on what's being discussed on these sites. But, we'll see, as I don't want to turn this into .....gasp......a job!
Best wishes and enjoy!
