Learning from China's Record

By Daniel Jia October 20, 2022

At the annual National Day ceremony on October 10, Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen pledged to maintain peace across the Taiwan Strait, called on Beijing to not resort to war to achieve its goal of “reunification with Taiwan,” and reiterated the Taiwanese people’s unwavering stance on defending its democracy.........For China, seizing Taiwan is the ultimate goal. If the planned reunification can be done peacefully, it’s merely the icing on the cake. And a war with a appropriately timed could be even better, because a nationalistic zeal ignited by a war against Taiwan would make the people in China forget their misery and resentment against the cruelties inflicted upon them by the Chinese governmen.........

Before rising to power in 1949, the CCP twice (1924-1927, and 1937-1945) made peace with the ruling Nationalist Party (KMT) in the form of collaboration. In both initiatives, the CCP’s objectives were to utilize the KMT’s resources to nourish its own political organization and armed forces, which were in their infancy. And both peace pacts ended ugly when the CCP and its armed forces grew strong enough to undermine and sabotage KMT’s implementation of its blueprint for the nation. The second breakup led directly to the three-year Civil War and the subsequent ouster of the KMT from the mainland.

The CCP has continued practicing the same old “bait-exploitation” trick to this day.........The United States, which led the capitalist world in pulling China out of the economic ruin left by Mao Zedong and helped China grow into the world second largest economy, became the latest victim of Communist China’s time-tested exploitative practice. It turned out that the CCP has always regarded the U.S. as its biggest enemy, even during the U.S.-Sino’s “honeymoon” years in the 1980s-1990s...............To Read More.....

My Take - First off, nothing is ever as it seems with China, and everything that comes from their government is a lie of commission or a lie of omission, and that includes all this claptrap about their economy, which I've been saying it's all been smoke and mirrors for years, much to the amusement of detractors.  Now, it's being stated by many geopolitical analysts.  They finally caught up to the bug man, imagine that.

There's been so much talk about China being an economic tiger that's false, and one of the themes is China's economic policies were responsible for eliminating poverty in the outback.  Actually, the Chinese people can thank Richard Nixon because his policy of  bringing China into the international market, a disgraceful capitulation to the left and the America business community that is more than willing to sell the nation down the river for a good quarterly return is what caused that.  He prevented the Chinese Communist Party's downfall.

Mao deliberately starved over 30 million Chinese to death because he sold the food they needed in order to finance a military build up, and stated that may only be the beginning.  So let's not get confused with all this claptrap about concern about the poverty in the back country.

It's my contention Mao was on the verge of totally destroying their economy and the Chinese Communist Party control of China.  Nixon saved the CCP.  When Kissinger went to China sitting with Mao and Chou En-lie, who Kissinger claimed was one of the most brilliant men he'd ever met,  further demonstrating to me Kissinger's intelligence was highly overrated, Kissinger said to Mao "The nice thing about this meeting was neither of us want anything from each other".  Another demonstration of Kissinger's intelligence and insight.  Mao said back to him  "If I didn't want something from you I wouldn't have invited you, and if you didn't want something from me you shouldn't have come".   And people still listen to Kissinger.

Nixon saved China from bankruptcy, and China has been doing everything they can to destroy America with the goal of being the controlling power in the world replacing the United States, and America is funding that effort.

China must be bankrupted, just as Reagan did with the Soviet Union by ending their access to American dollars, we need to end their access to the America market.  Otherwise, China will continue being the plague on humanity it is.  China is incapable of being appeased as there will always be a "there’s something wrong with you" whine from them demanding changes to accommodate them, and the world's leftists, and their myrmidons in the media, will support any accommodation that supports their goal of global domination.

There's only one fix for China.  Bankruptcy!  Then we walk away and let them stew in their own juices, broken and bankrupt, and then we can negotiate, to our advantage.
