“And if you like your insurance plan, you will keep it. No one will be able to take that away from you. It hasn’t happened yet. It won’t happen in the future,” Obama said on April 1, 2010. In 2013, NBC News reported “that the Obama administration knew ‘millions’ could not keep their health insurance.”

Obamacare (aka Affordable Care Act) will expire at the end of the year if it is not extended. It was a scam from the beginning, starting with the company that designed the program, CGI Federal.

CGI is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company, and Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton classmate of Michelle Obama, is a senior vice president. Her company was awarded a “no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website.”

It was a disaster from the first day, October 1, 2013, when only six people were able to enroll. Obama tried to enroll but was unable because there was a problem with his social security number.

Another $150 million was pumped in to try to fix the problems and the government finally shut the company down four months later. Despite that fiasco, CGI was later awarded billions of dollars in other government contracts, including “an ongoing indefinite-quantity contract for the Department of Homeland Security and the Coast Guard.”

It is alleged that CGI donated $47 million to Obama’s reelection campaign in 2011.

Illegals compose the largest number of uninsured individuals, with estimates between 45% to 71%. The law does not allow illegal aliens to be covered by Obamacare, but the Democrats use workarounds to beat the system with state-funded programs, emergency Medicaid, federally funded health centers, and off-exchange private plans.

“The number of undocumented immigrants receiving some form of healthcare or insurance is constantly changing, and there is no definitive total. However, reports from organizations like the Kaiser Family Foundation show that uninsured rates are significantly higher among undocumented immigrants compared to lawfully present immigrants and U.S. citizens.”

Other taxpayer benefits illegals get for free are SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Emergency Medicaid and Full-Scope Medicaid (whatever that is).

“The cost of ‘Obamacare’ to the US is complex, but as of 2023, the federal government spent $1.6 trillion net on healthcare subsidies and programs under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and other initiatives.”

The plan was “substandard” from the start and forced people to accept it or pay a tax. The federal tax imposed on those who refused to join existed from 2013 until 2019; they were penalized at $695 for each adult and $347,50 for each child.

Democrats are demanding that Republicans extend the ACA as part of the threat to shut down the government. The subsidies have been extended twice, but now the Republicans are in charge, and many will gladly let them expire on September 30.

Let’s see which RINOs give in.

Palatine Hill?  What's the significance of that?   Of the Seven Hills of Rome, the Palatine Hill, was the center most, and is considered to be the most ancient parts of Rome.  It's also where the wealthy, privileged, and powerful built their palaces, surrounded by six hills filled with the lesser classes.

 

Think of Washington DC as America's Palatine Hill, and the center of America's administrative state, filled with the ideological "palaces" of the elite, powerful, and privileged, surrounded by lesser mortals whose views are dismissed .... arrogantly. 

On December 2014 Thomas Sowell published one of his many outstanding, "Random Thoughts on the Passing Scene", saying:

If anyone in the mainstream media is at a loss for what New Year's resolution to make, try this: Stop "spinning" or censoring stories about race, and try telling the plain truth, if only for the novelty of it.....

 

There are few modest talents so richly rewarded -- especially in politics and the media -- as the ability to portray parasites as victims, and portray demands for preferential treatment as struggles for equal rights........ 

 

Has anyone asked the question, "How could so many people across the country spend so much time at night marching, rioting and looting, if they had to get up and go to work the next morning?"........ 

 

Republicans complain when Democrats call them racists. But when have you ever heard a Republican counterattack? You don't win by protesting your innocence or whining about the unfairness of the charge. Yet when have you heard a Republican reply by saying, "You're a lying demagogue without a speck of evidence. Put up or shut up!"...

That was ten years ago, and things have changed.  For the left, all things are either racist, or Islamophobic, but this administration, conservatives, and the alternate media aren't letting that slide.  They're attacking!  What must really be driving the left crazy, especially the media, is that conservatives don't care what they think or what they're saying.  They're either attacking the left and humiliating them, or worse yet, laughingly at them with a "no one cares what you say attitude" because you're certifiably nuts.   

After 2008 the track was cleared for total big government tyranny with the election of Obama. The Democrats were always able to hide who they really were with the support of the Pravda media, and get elected via voter fraud, but it was clear where Obama was taking the nation, and if Hillary had been elected, it might have even been worse. After Biden it was impossible to claim otherwise, and they’re not even trying to hide the tyranny they wish to impose on the nation…. not to mention bankruptcy.

Here’s where I’m going with this. They have no bench. Not one of those who could be the nominee in 2028 can ever portray themselves as anything but far left tyrants who would destroy the Constitution, including former VP candidate Tim Walz, who unlike the rest of them is incapable of hiding the fact he's nuts.  Josh Shapiro was their best bet, but, now there’s a murder case in his state in which he may be implicated. A case where a woman was stabbed 20 times, once in the back, and it was called suicide. And he was their best bet?

As for the 2026 midterms, if the administration goes after all the states for their voter fraud issues, I’m convinced the House Democrats will lose massively, and it’s possible the Republicans can get 60 seats in the Senate. But the nationwide criminal network for voter fraud must be crushed, and as many as possible end up in jail for it…. a massive RICO investigation is warranted, and things are changing at the grass roots, and seemingly among a significant number of young people who are moving to the right.  This last election drove home how the Democrats made a "hot mess" of just about everything, and are clinging to their "hot mess" because to change would mean telling the world they're wrong on everything they support, and become conservatives.  They would have to become the kind of people they hate and despise beyond reason.  They won't change because they can't change, they can only be crushed.  These are the hills the Democrats will die on.

After reading what I've listed here I think it's incumbent on everyone to ask, and answer, two questions, especially after Trump's address to Congress.  Do these people sound and act sane, and if not, does treason qualify as a mental disorder?  As for sane, here's one of their heroes who thinks Trump is actively trying to destroy the nation because he hates America.  I think that answers the sanity part at any rate.

Hollywood Hates Jews - “I’ve had someone say to me, ‘Let’s not forget what Hollywood is made up of. Be careful,’”  Guy Pearce told a Jewish writer at Vanity Fair in response to a question about his attacks on Israel.  In an industry where talent has been cancelled for the most minor perceived offenses against political correctness, Pearce’s remarks went unnoticed and he was rewarded with an Oscar nomination for playing an antisemite on screen in The Brutalist and in real life. Contrast that with the backlash against ‘Karla Sofia’ Gascon, starring in Emilia Perez, the Oscar frontrunner, over old Spanish-language tweets speaking out against Black Lives Matter and Islam, which he has already apologized for several times..........

Current Mayor Brandon Johnson’s approval has now sunk even lower, to only 6.6% in the latest poll, as issues such as rising crime concern residents of the Windy City. In the latest poll from M3 Strategies, which surveyed 696 likely Chicago voters Feb. 20-21, 67% said that crime was one of the top three issues facing Chicago, followed by high taxes at 54% and inflation at 41%.  Who knew that voters concerned about crime, high taxes, and inflation would say "thumbs down" when talking about their mayor?.............

Auchincloss said, “Checks and balances, the separation of powers is going to be the dominant theme of this first year of Donald Trump’s presidency — the presidency. Article 2 is in a boxing match with Congress. Article 1 and the court’s Article 3 over our ability to prevent an imperial presidency. The Supreme Court has, at least here, held its own in round one. Round two is going to be Congress and the presidency boxing over appropriations. Congress has claim on the power of the purse. Speaker Mike Johnson is definitely not a prize fighter. And so Democrats are going to have to step up and insist that to fund the government this spring the president needs to respect the fact that one, he cannot use emergency powers to spend money that we did not appropriate. And number two, he  has to appropriate the funds that we have called for. That is the power of the purse. That is not up for debate.”........

 

Is DOGE negativity being overhyped by the Dems? - AMAC Newsline columnist Andrew Shirley pointed out an interesting bit of forgotten history about Bill Clinton’s reduction of the federal workforce.  It seems Bill Clinton made even more extreme cuts to the federal workforce during his second term in office than has the Trump/Musk DOGE team.  This history has apparently been conveniently forgotten, or purposely buried, by the mainstream media so they can continually b...last anyone and everyone connected with DOGE like it’s causing an end of the world disaster.

 

Hakeem Jeffries Was Asked to Provide Evidence of GOP Cuts to Medicaid and His Answer Was a Train Wreck - House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries has the same problem many a Democrat has right now: he can deliver the talking points, but when pressed, he collapses into a mumbling mess. It was a marvel to witness. The New York Democrat was doing his part, trying to gin up fear about the budget reconciliation process, which cleared its first big hurdle this week. Speaker Mike Johnson got all but one of the defecting Republicans back on board, which was enough to pass the resolution with a 217-213 vote. We still have a ways to go, but this was a huge win. Yet, Democrats insist that Medicaid will be cut. ......

Axios knows, or should know, that lower tax  rates, as instituted by Trump 45, George Bush, Ronald Reagan, and John F. Kennedy increased (not decreased) federal revenues.   Lower tax  rates  stimulate investment and growth (GDP).   Revenue is the result of Rates x Investment x Growth.  .......

The radical left is boycotting companies abandoning leftist insanity - Today might be a great day to go shopping. If you’ve already been to Walmart, Target, or other major retailers, you might have noticed that the people there looked...well, normal. No blue hair. No nose rings. No giant holes in their earlobes. Harris Faulkner Asks Democrat Contributor What Ideas Democrats Have to “Improve the Economy” -  Fox News host Harris Faulkner suggested to Democratic contributor Leslie Marshall on Tuesday that the Democrats had not offered any ideas to make the economy better, even as they criticized President Donald Trump.  Some congressional Democrats have plans to bring egg cartons highlighting the increased price of eggs, noisemakers or signs opposing the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to Trump’s Tuesday night address to a joint session of Congress. After Faulkner asked Marshall about the reported antics, she then brought up whether Democrats had any proposals to address the economy.

Quizzed later, they characterize such confrontations as “frank and productive exchanges.” Riiiight. This has been so partly to support the idea that politicians are uniformly wise and benevolent statesmen, people whose only concern is the welfare of their constituents. They’re beings of superior intellect and morality, above the failings of lesser beings, perfect in form, style, function and intention..............

 

A majority of Democrats believe there are more than two sexes -poll - A survey by Quinnipiac, taken Feb. 13-17, revealed that 96% of Republicans agree with President Trump’s executive order affirming that there are only two sexes, while an astounding and depressing 77% of Democrats oppose the order, apparently believing there to be God-knows-how-many different sexes. Only 14% of Democrats support the order. 59% of independents support the order.

Environmentalists Killed Logging to Protect Owls. Now They Want to Kill the Owls.

Thirty-five years after “save a logger, eat an owl” could be seen across the Pacific Northwest, the government environmentalists at US Fish and Wildlife want to kill half a million owls…to save the owls.

In a world of transgender surgeries, terrorist cryptocurrencies, and senile presidents, the Owl Wars that entered the 1990 presidential election seem implausible. But they cost tens of thousands of jobs, wiped out sizable amounts of the logging industry in the Pacific Northwest, and helped solidify Oregon and Washington as hipster strongholds no Republican could win.

It all started with listing the spotted owls as an endangered species. The northern spotted owls (which to non-owl fanciers look like most other owls except smaller) were listed as endangered by that noted scientist, Judge William L. Dwyer, who apart from destroying logging also helped create the Seattle Mariners which placed two crimes against humanity on his checkered soul.

But Dwyer was doing the bidding of the anti-industrial Sierra Club and decided to block timber sales in national forests to save the owls.

“The timber industry no longer drives the Pacific Northwest’s economy,” Judge Dwyer, whose own job as a government appointee was protected by the mandatory confiscation used to pay his ill-gotten salary, wrote. “Job losses in the wood-products industry will continue regardless of whether the northern spotted owl is protected.”

Over 1,500 loggers and family members staged a protest around Hood River, of the kind that has since become familiar in Europe, against the shutdown of their industry.

President George H.W. Bush in his usual squishy manner tried to split the difference. “All across the country, we have a spotted owl problem. And yes, we want to see that little furry, feathery guy protected and all of that. But I don’t want to see 40,000 loggers thrown out of work.”

Bill Clinton, who did want to see 40,000 loggers thrown out of work, won and held an owl summit in Portland on April Fool’s Day featuring Al Gore and a protest rally led by Neil Young. The result of the summit was that the millionaire hipsters and environmentalists who had funded the Clintons won and the loggers who were just trying to feed their families came out the losers.

Clinton cut 80% of logging. Timber prices rose 70% in the first years of the Clinton administration. Housing construction costs rose with it further hurting the middle class. Seattle and Portland became safe spaces for fans of Neil Young and bad music. Republicans, conservatives, and the working class were squeezed out to make way for the owls.

But a funny thing happened on the way to owl nirvana, the owls kept dying.

Logging on federal lands fell by 90% but spotted owl populations also fell by as much as 80%. The number of “furry, feathery guys” today is down 75% since Bill Clinton, Judge Dwyer, and the Sierra Club wiped out loggers to protect them. And owl numbers are falling 2.9% every year.

Environmentalists railed that the Trump administration’s expansion of forest areas where loggers could work was “heartbreaking”, “callous” and “offensive” to an “endangered species”.

But the real threat to the spotted owls wasn’t the loggers, but other owls. Environmentalists had known and lied about the fact that barred owls were expanding their territory and driving out the spotted owls. But the spotted owls provided a convenient excuse for a government power grab.

And now if the spotted owls disappear so does the excuse for government abuses of power.

That’s why US Fish and Wildlife has discussed killing the owls to save the owls. The proposal would use “trained shooters” to kill 470,000 barred owls. (And if enough of the barred owls are killed by the government, maybe they can be listed as an endangered species and protected.)

The Endangered Species Act was supposed to be used to protect species threatened by human behavior, but now the environmentalists are protecting owls from other owls by killing the owls. The same government environmentalists who bemoan the hunters who wiped out the passenger pigeon are now proposing to do the same thing to take sides in the owl wars.

But which owls live or die is not up to us. Nature has its own free market economy. And no amount of shooting barred owls will save the spotted owls. The trouble is that the spotted owls are interbreeding with barred owls. And unless the environmentalists can convince spotted owls to avoid owl miscegenation, the outcome will be some sort of mixed spotted barred owl.

The Biden administration has proposed killing the mixed spotted barred owl because owl miscegenation can only be solved with total owl genocide. The government has already decided which owls belong in Oregon and the Creator, nature, and biology don’t get a say in it. Why can’t nature listen to the “experts”, “scientists” and government instead of doing its own thing?

The Owl Wars have been going on for over three decades now. Since Neil Young and Kenny Loggins were warbling about owls in Portland, the pro-logger Bush administration was replaced by the pro-owl Clinton administration, and then by the pro-logger Bush administration, then the pro-owl Obama administration, the pro-logger Trump administration, and now the pro-owl and anti-owl Biden administration which will save the owls and kill the owls at the same time.

The number of loggers and owls has been declining so the only winners are the government and the barred owls which paid no attention to the judges, presidentists, and environmentalists.

After claiming to love the animals, environmentalists are turning to violence to fight nature. But violence has always been at the root of environmental and other forms of leftist activism.

The Biden administration appointed Tracy Stone-Manning, a former spokeswoman for the eco-terrorist group EarthFirst, to head the Bureau of Land Management. Manning had sent a threatening letter in 1989 warning that the eco-terrorist group had rigged trees with traps. “You bastards go in there anyway and a lot of people could get hurt.”

Tree spikes planted by EarthFirst had wounded a number of loggers and mill workers.

But Tracy and the other government ecoterrorists may find that it’s easier to stop loggers than it is to stop the course of nature no matter how many people or animals they try to kill.

It is difficult to say which is the more invasive species: the barred owls or the government. The coming showdown between the barred owls and the “trained shooters” of US Fish and Wildlife will also determine who decides the fate of the owl population: environmentalists or the owls.

G-d in His infinite wisdom made all the many varieties of owls, but only human beings could be stupid enough to create government, the Sierra Club, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. In a contest between the works of G-d and the idiot works of man, the government has no chance.

After wiping out logging to save the owls, the government now wants to kill the owls.

My money is on the owls.

What’s Eating Joe?

Ahead of a meeting between Prime Minister James Marape of Papua New Guinea and Chinese Communist Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Joe decided to accuse Papua of eating his uncle.

After a visit to Scranton Veterans Memorial Park, Joe Biden claimed that his uncle Ambrose J. Finnegan “flew single-engine planes, reconnaissance flights over New Guinea. He had volunteered because someone couldn’t make it. He got shot down in an area where there were a lot of cannibals in New Guinea at the time.”

Amazingly, even for a Joe Biden tall tale, almost no part of that story is true. Ambrose, a 2nd lieutenant, was a passenger on an administrative flight when the plane’s engines failed and it went down in the water. He wasn’t a heroic volunteer, he was a passenger, and he wasn’t shot down, but died in an accident, and he wasn’t eaten by anybody except maybe a shark.

While Biden has made up a lot of family tragedies and war stories, this is the first one to offend an entire nation and alienate it just in time for the People’s Republic of China to swoop in.

“President Biden’s remarks may have been a slip of the tongue; however, my country does not deserve to be labeled as such,” Prime Minister James Marape objected.

There was cannibalism, Michael Kabuni, a lecturer in political science at the University of Papua New Guinea, admitted, but “taking it out of context, and implying that your [uncle] jumps out of the plane and somehow we think it’s a good meal is unacceptable.”

“They wouldn’t just eat any white men that fell from the sky.”

First, Biden claims that Papuans ate his uncle and a Papuan political science professor responds by implying that Joe’s uncle wasn’t worth eating. Cannibalism in the area was a rare ritual because a diet heavy in Biden family members would be hard to come by and unhealthy.

Eating people is one of the least healthy diets around which is why even few animals outside of the government prey on us full time. Cannibal tribes would eat great leaders or the mentally ill (or both) which might qualify Joe Biden to be eaten by cannibals, but not his uncle ‘Bosey’.

But what’s really eating Joe is a stolen valor problem. And a Kennedy problem.

Joe Biden repeatedly and falsely claims that his son Beau Biden died in Iraq when he actually died of cancer in America. The ‘Uncle Bosey’ story is part of a pattern of fake war stories.

“The superhighway of terror between Pakistan and Afghanistan where my helicopter was forced down. John McCain wants to know where bin Laden and the gates of Hell are? I can tell him where. That’s where Al Qaida is. That’s where bin Laden is,” Biden claimed in the 2008 campaign.

The chopper carrying Sen. Biden, Sen. John Kerry and Sen. Chuck Hagel landed in safe territory during a snowstorm. It remained there under heavy military protection before the Arizona National Guard’s 1st Battalion who traveled through the “bitter winds, freezing rain and snow for more than 15 hours” to escort him to Bagram Air Base. Which he would later abandon.

During the 2020 election bid, Biden once again falsely claimed that he risked his life traveling to Afghanistan. “I’ve been in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan 30 times. I’ve pinned medals, Silver Stars, on soldiers up in the Upper Konar Valley, in the middle of a firestorm.”

“They’re behind, it’s called a FOB, a forward operating base, behind these great big barriers on top of a mountain in a little cove in a godforsaken country,” Biden claimed. “A four-star general asked me, would I go up into the FOB. Everybody got concerned. A vice president going up in the middle of this. But we can lose a vice president. We can’t lose many more of these kids. Not a joke.”

Biden’s story of heroically traveling to pin a medal into a firestorm to pit a medal on a soldier was also false.

The actual story comes from the same trip at the helicopter “forced down” in the “superhighway of terror“ when Biden, along with Kerry and Hagel, visited a base and watched a medal ceremony for an actual hero. No general asked Biden to risk his life to pin a medal on a wounded soldier. Nor did Biden pin the medal on him. The base, known as Naray or Bostick, did not come under fire when Biden was there. Nor was traveling there in 2008 a serious risk.

In February 2008, when Biden visited Afghanistan, only one American soldier had been killed that entire month.

Biden visited Afghanistan at a time when he knew it was safe and used the trip to invent war stories for the election.

And then there was “Uncle Frank”.

According to Joe Biden at yet another event, this one at the Major Joseph R. “Beau” Biden III National Guard/Reserve Center, celebrating the military service of his son as a JAG in Iraq for 7 months, claimed that his father told him that “Uncle Frank fought in the Battle of the Bulge” and “won the Purple Heart”, but “never received it”. So Joe Biden came over with his dad to bring Uncle Frank a Purple Heart. Not only did the story never happen, because Frank was dead by then, but there had never been any record of a Purple Heart awarded to a Frank Biden.

Nor was there a Purple Heart awarded Ambrose Finnegan because he wasn’t shot down or captured, he was not on a combat flight, but traveling on an administrative flight.

When Joe Biden falsely claimed that he awarded a Purple Heart to his Uncle Frank, it reflected a real grudge that the military hadn’t provided him with some war heroes in the family.

Joe Biden makes up all sorts of stories, but there is a pattern to a lot of those stories.

Like a lot of Democrats with presidential aspirations, he wanted to be JFK. To do that, he built up claims of being Irish (the late Uncle Bosey was not only used to prop up the Bidens as war heroes but as Irish), of being a talented lawyer, a football player and a man who from an early age had met with world leaders. That’s not Joe Biden’s biography, but it is JFK’s biography.

Like the Kennedy family, Biden framed his family as a tragic clan. Beau became his Joe Patrick Jr, the promising golden child who could have changed the world had he not died in a war, whose death inspired him to run for office. Meanwhile, Joe Biden supplemented the narrative with other family war stories that never happened.to live out his fantasy of being JFK. How infuriating it must be for a man who believes he is JFK to be challenged by an actual Kennedy.

What’s eating Joe aren’t the cannibals of New Guinea, but that he isn’t a Kennedy.

“The Kennedys were, as a group, the people he patterned his life after,” Ted Kaufman, Biden’s former chief of staff, said. “Not just his political life, but his life.”

In Biden’s stories, he’s not an old man with a failing mind, he is JFK, flying into danger, inspired to change the country by the death of a loved one, burdened by tragedy, but rising to the occasion to inspire a nation. In New Guinea, they might not eat just any white men that fell from the sky. They might not eat a Biden, but even cannibals would have the taste to eat a Kennedy.

Joe Biden isn’t living his life, he’s cannibalizing the already eaten up Kennedy family legacy.
