Nadler To Lewandowski: Don't Tempt Me. We'll Hold You In Contempt Of Congress

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) threatened to hold former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski in contempt of Congress because of his "refusal to answer questions" relating to the Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report.

"Mr. Lewandowski, your behavior in this hearing room has been completely unacceptable. It is part of a pattern of a White House desperate for the American people not to hear the truth," Nadler said.  “I’ve been asked several times today whether the Committee will hold you in contempt. My Take - Here's what I wish Lewandowski, or someone, would say to Nadler.  "Go ahead and find me in contempt.  That at least is a fact!  I, like most of the people of this nation do hold you in contempt.  You can hardly walk around Washington without tripping over that contemp.  You don't even need to look for it."  The Obama administration demonstrated just how valueless these contempt citations are.  It still takes the Justice Deparment to enforce them, and they can choose to not do it. And Obama's Justice Department chose not to  when the Republicans were running these committees.
