Americans may soon know a lot more about the baby body parts trade run by Planned Parenthood and other abortionists because of depositions issued to many industry executives. The trade was spotlighted in a series of videos released in 2015 by the Center for Medical Progress, which sent founder David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt into abortion-industry meetings with a hidden camera.
Planned Parenthood executives were caught on camera discussing how they adjust abortion procedures to save body parts valued by researchers. One executive famously said she sought higher profits because she wanted to buy a Lamborghini.The video series led to congressional inquiries and formal referrals to law enforcement agencies for investigation. At least two companies that acted as middle-men were fined and put out of business.
