Soros, Funders of Domestic Terrorism, Form 'Coalition' Against Fed Investigations

The Soros clan, along with other family foundations of the liberal elite, Knight, MacArthur, Ford, Omidyar, and the Rockefellers, have announced that they’re teaming up to fight investigations by the Justice Department.

While Alex Soros, George’s son, bragged that he would not give in, “over my dead body”, the presidents of the MacArthur and McKnight Foundations have declared that everyone needs to dust off their “crisis plans” and put their “legal teams on speed dial” ahead of a crackdown.

What are they afraid of?

The Unite in Advance coalition was formed so quickly by the big liberal grant making groups funding radicalism to form a ‘united front’ that it didn’t even have the time to build a site.

While Unite in Advance’s joint letter mentions the Charlie Kirk assassination and subsequent investigations of Antifa and other radical groups, an initial version of this ‘unity’ push had come out back in April with over 700 leftist groups, led by the MacArthur Foundation and, despite the claims of ‘non-violence’ included signatories like the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation, where a key figure supported Hezbollah, the Soros network, which has provided money to extremist and terrorist front groups, and BLM funders like the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

The latest incarnation of what the radical leftist funders are billing as the ‘Freedom to Give’ complains that they are being portrayed as “contributing to those acts of violence” and accuses unnamed figures, seemingly conservatives and the Trump administration, of plotting to “silence speech, criminalize opposing viewpoints, and misrepresent and limit charitable giving.”

After decades of trying to censor, ‘debank’ and ban conservative groups, the funders of these efforts are suddenly hailing a “freedom to give” when the investigation risks turning their way.

It’s nice that the Knight Foundation, a major SPLC donor, and which also provided millions to fund ‘disinformation’ research which was used to deplatform and silence opposing groups, has suddenly come around to believing in the value of free speech. But only when it’s their speech.

But speech, on either side, isn’t a crime. Funding domestic terrorism however is.

The frantic calls for unity, the 700+ signatories of the April letter and the 200 plus and counting foundations that have signed on to the ‘Unite in Advance’ letter are rightly worried about their legal exposure to funding foreign and domestic terrorist groups, rioters and others engaged in criminal activities that, as Freedom Center Investigates has shown over the years, violates their nonprofit status.

Take the Climate Emergency Fund, a 501(c)(3), funding some of the environmental vandalism in America and around the world, which received a founding grant from the Aileen Getty Foundation. The Getty Foundation bragged about “Greta Thunberg and disruptive groups like Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion” which vandalized art masterpieces around the world.

Then there was the financial backing for the BLM movement from big nonprofit players like the Ford Foundation and W.K. Kellogg. And there’s the Soros backing for groups involved in the campus pro-Hamas riots and the more recent anti-ICE riots. Even the legal ‘non-violent’ No Kings protests can fall afoul of the tax-exempt nonprofit status of an organization depending on how they are being conducted.

Free speech is sacrosanct, but that doesn’t cover burning down neighborhoods, assaulting police officers, attacking Jewish students on campus or vandalizing art museums. Nor, for that matter, does it cover blocking roadways, shutting down Congress and other illegal activities that have been billed as ‘civil disobedience’ but that serve as grounds for loss of tax-exempt status.

The big lefty foundations assumed that they could not and would not be held accountable. Now they’re panicking because the Trump administration is moving to finally impose accountability.

The billionaire funders of leftist hate and violence have taken to pretending that they’re “charitable giving organizations” that contribute to “communities”, helping “new parents and elders, veterans and school children, hospitals and libraries.”

The reality is that the vast majority of their ‘giving’ is political.

You don’t go to George Soros if you’re hungry. The Open Society Foundations describe giving grants to “movements, coalitions, networks, collectives and even informal groups”.

Not soup kitchens.

The MacArthur Foundation lists categories such as ‘climate solutions’ and ‘criminal justice’. The first signatory to the Unite in Advance letter is the Action for Transformation Fund which announced that it’s “moving resources to trans-led organizing”.

Other signatories include the Foundation for Systemic Change that works to “highlight ongoing economic, political, social, racial, ethnic, and environmental inequities”, the Fund for Nonviolence, which ironically helped unleash a crime wave, and iF, A Foundation for Radical Possibility, which focuses on ‘systemic racism’.

None of this is charity, it’s leftist political organizing, and the refusal by the signatories to come out and say so, or to hide behind smaller local nonprofits, is dishonest and shameful.

If these big foundations had been funding soup kitchens, hospitals and libraries, rather than political organizing and radical violence, they wouldn’t need to preemptively form a ‘Unite in Advance’ front. And the heads of the MacArthur and McKnight foundations wouldn’t be urging foundations to “stand in solidarity”, organizing for mutual defense against “threats”.

They’re not afraid of being busted for feeding the poor, but for feeding violence and hate.

Now the groups that tried to shut down their political opponents are rallying to the Constitution and the First Amendment, things they never believed in and had worked to destroy, but suddenly rediscovered just in time to become born-again patriots and lovers of freedom.

But no one is buying it.

When these leftist groups had the chance, they tried to eliminate the political opposition. Now they’re terrified of having the actual laws, not imaginary laws about ‘disinformation’, but actual tax code regulations and domestic terrorism laws, being enforced against their activities.

And wouldn’t that be a shame.

For Biden and Democrats, Payback Is the Pits

How far will Kevin McCarthy and Republicans go to even the score?

For lo these many years, Democrats acted as if their reign of terror against the ever-dangerous Donald Trump and the rising MAGA movement would be free of consequence. They believed that the impunity and relentlessness with which they waged war against Trump from the moment he was elected president would exact no price. Joe Biden and company carried on as if their salad days of MAGA-bashing, reaching a pinnacle with the 2020 election, would know no end, and that they would never ultimately be held to account for their behavior. After all, Trump is just so easy to scandalize, and the Democrats all but control the media messaging that matters most. They still think they’re sitting pretty.

  Boy, are they in for a rude awakening. They will soon learn the same lesson most of us do at one time or another in life: Payback is the pits.

After controlling the narrative ever since the onset of the pandemic almost three years ago, allowing them to power-drive the final nail into Trump’s coffin, Democrats have now been stripped of their ability to sweep their actions under the rug. Sure, big media will do their best to shield this president from the political consequences of his metastasizing classified-documents scandal and the investigation cyclone Speaker Kevin McCarthy (D-CA) and House Republicans are unleashing as we speak. But even The New York Times will be forced to report in some way on probes into everything from Hunter Biden’s laptop to the scandalous collapse of the US southern border to left-wing censorship and the long-suspected but now-proven government collusion with social media.

Will Democrats Pay for Their Scorched-Earth Behavior?

Just days into his speakership, McCarthy has already established the new Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government to look deeply into federal agencies — from the FBI to the military —  engaging in prohibited political activity. He has seen articles of impeachment filed against DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and announced that the notorious trio of Trump-deranged Democrats – Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Eric Swalwell (D-CA), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) — will be removed from plum committee assignments.  And fittingly in these days of bitter partisan politics gone wild, there are even plans to form a committee to investigate a former committee — the Jan. 6 panel.

If McCarthy and his House caucus are looking to exact an eye for an eye and even the score for the Democrats’ full-strength, unending exploitation of their majority status, then they would answer yes to a number of questions: Would they impeach Biden over a phone call to a foreign leader they find unacceptable? Would they impeach him after he leaves office? Would they conspire with Elon Musk to censor left-wing content on Twitter? Would they assemble a one-sided Hollywood production to magnify the sins of Biden, as Democrats did to Trump with their Soviet-style J6 Committee? Would they support draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve for naked political advantage in the run-up to an election?

The overarching question is whether Republicans will criminalize political differences as leftists have done to a fault. Will McCarthy and Republicans act like Nancy Pelosi and Biden and declare left-wing Democrats a threat to democracy? Will they classify tens of millions of voters who pulled the lever for their opponents as extremists? Will they call for an FBI raid on Biden’s home to recover the classified documents we now know are stored there, as they were at Mar-a-Lago? Will they demand the release of Biden’s tax returns, after Pelosi broke with long-standing policy and did the dirty deed to Trump on her way out of the Speaker’s office? Will they raise the specter of applying the 25th Amendment to remove the cognitively challenged Biden from the presidency as the Dems did with Trump?

Of course, the answer to these questions is no. But the fact that the Democrats’ answer was yes when they controlled the entirety of the federal government is all you need to know about the lengths they were willing to go to kneecap Trump and his movement — and the overwhelming temptation for House Republicans to now respond in kind.

Trump to nominate Rep. John Ratcliffe to replace Dan Coats as Director of National Intelligence

The appointment of a former US Attorney, who is also a master of the details of the attempted plot to oust Trump, signals that the “investigate the investigators” phase of the biggest political scandal in history is moving into high gear.

Jonathan Swan of Axios published a scoop, now confirmed by presidential tweet, that Rep. John Ratcliffe will be nominated to replace Dan Coast as the Director of National Intelligence. This almost certainly means that the “investigate the investigators” phase of the biggest political scandal in American history is going to get very serious, with the intelligence community cooperating rather than stonewalling.

Ratcliffe has deeply impressed me with his questioning of witnesses and comments on television interviews. He is right up there with Devin Nunes in terms of his mastery of the details of the plot.

Italy, recall, is the nation that elected a Trump-like new government, following the deep state collaborations of the earlier government, and the new government has fired four Italian intelligence officials, apparently over a spygate bid to pin Russian collusion charges, falsely, on President Trump via planted emails, in a Machiavellian bid to get him thrown out of office.

The CIA Is Running Scared

Barr’s bloodhounds are sniffing up Langley’s skirts.

Last Wednesday the intelligence community launched its first attack on Attorney General William Barr’s investigation into its illegal acts and abuses of power during the 2016 election. In a New York Times article entitled “Justice Department Seeks to Question CIA in its Own Russia Investigation,” the IC makes clear its fear of the results of Barr’s investigation of their spy operation on candidate Trump in 2016 that continued through his early presidency.

The article, obviously written at the behest of its intelligence community sources — “current and former American officials” — is the first of many concerted attacks on Attorney General William Barr’s investigation of the joint CIA/FBI spy operation. Many other articles, based on carefully crafted leaks to the media and Congress, are sure to follow because current and former high-ranking officials of those agencies (and probably the NSA as well) have a lot to lose.

John Durham, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut, is running the investigation under Barr’s direction. From the Times report, we can easily deduce the fact that those who ran the spy op — including CIA Director Gina Haspel — are running scared from the Durham investigation. ............

That part of the Times story reveals the CIA’s attitude, which may be imputed to Haspel. Again, it says, “Senior agency officials have questioned why the CIA’s analytical work should be subjected to a federal prosecutor’s scrutiny.”

Prelude to Trump’s Take Down of Obama’s Henchmen and Spies

Once again, for those of you who follow me on America Out Loud, for the past two plus years I’ve been writing about the Russia Collusion scandal, the abuse and criminal use of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants, and the politicization and weaponization of intelligence – from General Flynn’s deceptive, frivolous, and fraudulent illegal charges against him, to the fabricated and unadulterated bullshit of the fake dossier against President Trump. This article begins the final prologue of the end of the Obama administration’s orchestrated plan to take down candidate, then President Donald J. Trump, well before he was the preeminent Republican candidate and nominee for the Presidency.

This article begins with the henchmen who devised, planned, and implemented the actual ‘silent coup d’état’ against candidate Trump, and now President Trump. You also need to remember and recall that I have been predicting what is currently happening, nearly exactly as it is going down, since most Americans became aware of it in late 2016.

With the forthcoming next set of shoes to drop; the Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Report, the full Mueller Report, and President Trump’s declassification and release of the FISA documents, comprised of the initial FISA applications and there justification, and the actual warrants – ominous dark clouds are moving in around Washington, DC. Trump Let the Dogs Out

Those responsible for the coup attempt against the president can run but they can no longer hide.

The Democrats, stumbling down the road to impeachment, were stunned by President Trump’s executive order on Thursday.

The order is in two parts. First, it directs the intelligence agencies to cooperate with Attorney General William Barr’s investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia counterintelligence investigation that was the vehicle used to spy on candidate Trump’s campaign and President Trump’s administration when it was new.

The second part of the order delegates to Barr the president’s authority to declassify — or reduce the level of classification of — anything that the intelligence agencies will give him ................

Predictably, the people who are at greatest risk of exposure and danger of indictment erupted at Trump’s order.

For example, Obama’s CIA chief, John Brennan, told an interviewer,“I see it as a very, very serious and outrageous move on the part of Mr. Trump, once again, trampling on the statutory authorities of the Director of National Intelligence and the heads of the independent intelligence agencies.”

Brennan continued: “And it’s unclear to me what Mr. Barr is actually going to do. Is he investigating a crime? Well, what’s the predication of that crime? Or he is just going to be looking for information… that Mr. Trump can just give to his defenders on the right and cherry-pick information that could be taken out of context?”...............To Read More.....

My Take - Does Brennan realize his argument is a clear demonstration of exactly what the Democrats in the House are actually doing versus what he claims the President and Barr may do?  As for the President "trampling on the statutory authorities of the Director of National Intelligence and the heads of the independent intelligence agencies”, that's a load of horsepucky. 

The President of the United States is the nations chief executive, and those people work for him.  Furthermore, the President of the United States has the authority to declassify anything he sees fit to declassify, and the hired help has no authority to override such a decision.  They will comply or be fired.  It's also clear these agencies are nothing more than cockroach nests of corruption.  These vermin are hiding in the cracks and crevices of these agencies in order to escape the light of day, and are in need some serious "pest control" to flush them out in the open.  

As for this investigation impacting the 2020 election - of course it will!  Why wouldn't exposing the corruption of the Obama cabal of traitors not impact the 2020 election?  The only real question is this?  Who's going to start screaming - "let's make a deal" first, and who's going jail.  As for Brennan, Comey, Clapper, Lynch, Rice, Hillary and Bill - I can't imagine how they're going to stay out of jail - unless of course they can squeal on Obama and throw him under the bus. 

Is it any wonder why society despises government.  

Leftists are Abusers, and Abusers are Fearful

Leftism is an abusive ideology. That’s why Democrats are generally so mean, nasty and brutal in their never-ending quest for power over others. At the root of it all, you will often find irrational fear. Kim Strassel of the Wall Street Journal nailed it when she wrote:

“But most of it is likely fear. Mr. Barr made real news in that Senate hearing, and while the press didn’t notice, Democrats did. The attorney general said he’d already assigned people at the Justice Department to assist his investigation of the origins of the Trump-Russia probe. He said his review would be far-reaching – that he was obtaining details from congressional investigations, from the ongoing probe by the department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, and even from Mr. Mueller’s work. Mr. Barr said the investigation wouldn’t focus only on the fall 2016 justifications for secret surveillance warrants against Trump team members but would go back months earlier.”

Charlie Daniels: When You Go Stomping In the Swamp, Slime Has a Habit of Splashing Both Ways

I watched part of the Senate hearing with Attorney General William Barr yesterday, and instead of hearing the informed questions of supposedly public servants who are sworn to serve the interests and security of this nation and the people who put them in office, I was bombarded with useless, showboat inquiries that everybody in the room already knew the answers to.

There were would-be presidential candidates preening and posing for the television cameras asking inane, convoluted, disjointed questions, accomplishing absolutely nothing except for wasting the time of all involved.

Senator Mazie Hirono from Hawaii indulged in downright character assassination, her remarks acerbic and insulting, having no effect but to paint her as a misandrist – just a bitter old woman with absolutely nothing constructive to add to the conversation...........The crux of the situation is this, when you go stomping around in the swamp, the slime has a habit of splashing both ways, and you never know what you’re going to find under the next dead log. Swamp snakes don’t care who they bite – very possibly the guy who turned over the log............The amount of “loyalty under duress” in Washington could probably be stored in a snuff box, and when plea bargains and CYA gets to a fever pitch, things could get hot and heavy, and some very swelled heads could roll...............To Read More...

My Take - Let's Make a Deal!!!!! That phrase is going to become common place as Barr starts his investigations into the big players on the left who started this whole thing.  I've said this before and it's clear just how true it was:  They didn't just want Hillary to win, they needed Hillary to win.  That way they could bury all the criminal activity going on among the Clinton's cabal and Obama's cabal of criminals.  But make no mistake about this.  The bottom of the rung criminals will start to sing, and sing loudly.  This is going to be fun to watch.

Lindsey Graham Just Issued a FISA Abuse, Clinton Ultimatum on the Release of Mueller's Special Counsel Report

On Thursday morning the Democrat controlled House of Representatives unanimously voted 420-0 on a resolution calling for the full release of Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation report.........Now that it's on the other side of Capitol Hill, Senator Lindsey Graham has a change to the resolution.........

As currently constructed, I cannot support the House-passed resolution calling for the release of the Mueller report...........However, I would agree to the resolution with a simple change –........-- it be amended to call for the appointment of a Special Counsel to:
* Investigate alleged misconduct around the handling of the Clinton email investigation.
* Investigate the abuse of the FISA warrant process against Mr. Carter Page...........I have been calling for a Special Counsel to investigate these matters for more than a year and one should have been appointed a long time ago..........I believe we owe it to the American people to look at ALL potential misconduct related to 2016 campaign investigation, not just some..............To Read More....

Former Trump attorney and ‘fixer’ Michael Cohen unwittingly made some of Trump’s case for him during last week’s testimony, stating for the nation to hear that, while he did not believe Trump colluded with the Russians - the entire basis upon which the Mueller investigation was founded - he was sure that Trump has, at some point in his life, committed “illegal acts.”..........

 

"Overcriminalization: The Limits of the Criminal Law," legal scholar Douglas Husak contends that even a citizen who desires to abide by law cannot possibly know what those laws are, much less how to follow them to the letter. 

 

“Husak cites estimates that more than 70 percent of American adults have committed a crime that could lead to imprisonment,” writes Stephen Carter of The Chicago Tribune. “He quotes the legal scholar William Stuntz to the effect that we are moving toward ‘a world in which the law on the books makes everyone a felon.’”

 

And in a world where everyone is a felon simply waiting to be caught, those who put themselves in the public eye are bound to be “caught” sooner or later … oftentimes by political enemies just waiting to a pretext to comb through their every past action to find the “crime.”

Dems Continue Their Assault on The Trump Administration By Launching Another Probe

Democrats are desperate to take down President Donald Trump. The Russia probe has proven to be ineffective and, quite frankly, a waste of time and taxpayer money. They didn't find what they wanted so now they're launching another probe.

During an interview with ABC's "This Week," House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said the Committee plans to request documents from more than 60 people at the White House and Trump Organization. The reason? They want to "protect the rule of law," USA Today reported.

"It’s our job to protect the rule of law. That’s our core function. And to do that we are going to initiate investigations into abuses of power, into corruption and into obstruction of justice," Nadler said.........To Read More.....

Stefan Halper is only the tip of the iceberg in Obama spy scandal

House Judiciary Asks for New Special Counsel for Clinton, Comey, and Lynch

Republicans of the House Judiciary Committee drafted a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein Thursday, asking them to appoint a second special counsel to investigate the 2016 elections. My Take - Well, so much for all the so-called confidence Congress has in Jeff Sessions.  His Senate buddies have come out in support, but one has to wonder just how broad that support is when the Lindsay Graham types are the most vocal in that support.  That's like running for public office telling the world your a absolute conservative - and then have John McCain come out strongly in your favor.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has invited (with the threat of subpoena) both Donald Trump, Jr. and Paul Manafort to testify this week. Presidential advisor Jared Kushner is also expected to appear. The senators are looking into the June 2016 meeting between Trump associates and the Russians who claimed to have damning evidence against then presumptive Democrat Nominee for President, Hillary Clinton. Donald, Jr. responded at the time to the prospect of a meeting with these foreign nationals saying, "I love it."

While the senate committee seeks violations of the Foreign Agent Registration Act, they are actually trying to punish a citizen for acting upon his moral obligation to hear and review any evidence of wrongdoing by an important political figure and prospective president.

In order to understand how this meeting wasn't a crime, but instead a service to the nation, we need to go back a year and review what was being asserted by independent investigators about the Clintons and their Foundation. At the time, Peter Schwiezer's bestseller Clinton Cash had been out for a year.

Intelligence Leaders say Trump “NEVER” Pressured Them

On Wednesday morning the directors of the FBI, CIA, and the NSA all appeared before the Senate Intelligence Committee to testify about the ongoing witch hunt into the Trump administration. Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Dan Coats was also in attendance.
