Question: What’s the closest thing to Hell freezing over? Answer: a black pastor praising western civilization for “bringing Africa out of the darkness” in front of a Catholic congregation in Berkeley, California. Even more amazing, this was no ordinary congregation. It was the Newman Center; the church that is the official designated home of the U.C. Berkeley Catholic community, and one where a former Chancellor of the entire 10 campus U.C. system was in the audience along with a substantial contingent of faculty, administrators and alumni. In short, a representative sampling of the people who made and make ‘Berkeley’ synonymous with the far left, and ones who are very much used to living – whether at church or on campus -- in a very comfortable echo chamber.............To Read More....
My Take - America's black community has been oppressed all right, but that oppression is being perpetrated by those who profess to be the leaders of America's blacks. We're a nation that has come to a fork in the road over race relations, and there are a lot of blacks who don't like the direction the Obamanators are taking America, and are not afraid to speak out about it.
Will they succeed? One can only hope!
It's been said in the past all politics in black America starts in the churches. How true is that now? I truthfully don't know, but if it is then that's a lesson for all of America, in all segments of American society, to overcome the insanity sweeping the nation.
The Christian and Jewish religious leaders are going to have to take strong stands supporting traditional Judaic/Christian principles and ethics. Why? Because accepted universal cultural foundations are what create a society. Not from the top down, from the bottom up. It's worrisome if that's going to happen, as it appears both Christian and Jewish religious movements have become infested with leadership that's corrupted with secular thinking that's clearly opposed to God and what's always been viewed as traditional values. Values that created the most successful culture the world has ever known.
How does that happen? Ask how in ancient Israel they turned from God and actually had pagan idols in the Temple at one point. Satan keeps changing himself into an angel of light, and so too do these blatantly heretical, and I think foundationally atheistic religious leaders, who are nothing short of con artists and grifters in it for the money.
I'm not optimistic this all can be fixed, in America or the rest of the world, without massive levels of violence and bloodshed, and what's occurring in France right now is an example of what I believe is to coming to the world over. I might add all of this was a predictable as night follows day, and if the bugman could have foreseen this how is it possible the world's leaders didn't?
