The Democrats Have Crossed the Rubicon. There's No Going Back!

By Rich Kozlovich

Crime in America's cities is going off the charts, and the Democrat party owns that.  Let's start with Alvin Bragg, an incompetent not very bright and corrupt prosecutor for New York City.  While he's been busy trying to prosecute Donald Trump for crimes that didn't occur, and using laws that don't exist, he's allowed the city of New York to become a criminal cesspool, and law enforcement in that city now carries a disgusting stench of political corruption not seen since Boss Tweed and the Tammany Hall days.

Once again it's been made clear to New Yorkers the only people who should be allowed to kill other people and get away with it are criminals.  Now, understand, in New York City if the victim has the nerve to actually try and save their life, and in the process the criminal is killed, they will be charged with murder.

Last July in Manhattan, a video captured a thug brutally stabbing Jose Alba, a Manhattan bodega clerk. Alba, defending himself, proved to be the more effective fighter, leaving the thug dead. It was a textbook case of self-defense, so Alvin Bragg and his team charged Alba with murder and sent him to Rikers Island. Only a public outcry saved Alba from the maw of Braggs’ criminal injustice system.

Now it appears this is going to be a repeat story in New York City:

......this time against Moussa Diarra, a 57-year-old parking attendant who, according to current news reports, successfully defended himself against an attempted murderer: A New York City parking garage attendant was hit with an attempted murder charge after confronting an armed thief and wrestling the gun away before opening fire on the suspect.....

In this Alvin Bragg Bizzaro world Diarra is being charged with murder.   As J.D. Rucker notes:

Under normal circumstances, I would assume the charges would be dropped since Diarra was clearly doing his job and acted in self-defense. But this is Alvin Bragg’s Manhattan, so we can’t know for sure. The Soros-backed District Attorney has demonstrated a penchant for releasing criminals and charging the innocent.

While it's claimed Bragg is a Soros supported prosecutor, Soros claims he's never talked to Bragg, doesn't know him and never donated any money to his campaign.  He knows that's not absolutely accurate as he's donated $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, according to Open Secrets. During the same period, the Color of Change PAC endorsed and spent money backing Bragg’s campaign.  That's an old ploy. Donate money to groups like the Tides Foundation who will funnel money without any direct connection to the donor. That's an old, old game, and one that's been played for decades.  Does anyone believe Soros doesn't know that game?  Does anyone believe he's not playing it?

While police are catching criminals on New York City's unsavory streets, Soros-tied Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has caught a chronic case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). ...........The soft-on-crime DA has downgraded felonies to misdemeanors in a majority of his cases, handing get-out-of-jail-free cards to hordes of hardened criminals with little regard for the victims of these violent crimes in his own jurisdiction..........Bragg's double standard on taking down whom he deems "the bad guys" has left the crime-infested Big Apple to rot.

Stunning statistics compiled by the NYPD:

.........obtained first by The Post, show that the city’s alleged “worst of the worst” repeat offenders have been busted a total of 485 times since bail reform went into effect in 2020. Two of the defendants are actually accused of embarking on lives of crime in the wake of bail reform, with one busted 33 times since 2020 and the other busted 22 times, all this year, the data shows.

It's been said you can get a Grand Jury to indict a ham sandwich, and in New York City, you can get a jury to convict a ham sandwich, all of which is now a blatant a system of Stalinist justice.  Stalin's chief monster was Lavrentiy Beria who stated: Show me the man, and I will show you the crime".

Alvin Bragg, and the entire Democrat party is now the intellectual, moral, and philosophical progeny of Stalin and Beria.  Baria was a monster, a rapist, a child molester, and a murderer.  Stalin wouldn't even allow his daughter to be alone with him.  And just like Baria, who deserved to be prosecuted for crimes, legitimate crimes, these misfits are the ones who should be prosecuted.   Have no doubt the world is watching, and have no doubt this is tyrannical banana republic stuff, and the banana republics are hving a field day.

This isn't going well for Bragg.  He's being attacked from all angles, and even the House of Representatives is wanting to question him, possibly under oath.  He claimed the House of Representatives has no business investigating his actions as this is a violation of states rights.  But he's got a problem with that.  It appears federal funds were used to investigate Trump, and now the worm turns.  Jim Jordan says, ‘Everything’s on the Table’ Regarding Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.  This has been the tactic of the left forever where federal money is involved.  And now it's going to be used against the left.  Jordan sees this farther, deeper and wider than most.  He believes:

"this is bigger....[and] involves all of us........I mean, that is the scary thing.........Think about this. They paid a foreigner to put together a fake dossier to spy on President Trump’s campaign. The FTC sends letters to Twitter demanding, who are the journalists you’re talking to? And then, of course, when Matt Taibbi is testifying, the IRS is knocking on his door. And now an indictment of a former president, the guy who happens to be leading in every single poll......... This is about going after anyone who opposes the left’s agenda, the establishment’s agenda. And that’s maybe the most scary thing of all.”

Apparently he didn't get the memo.  There's no such thing as a conspiracy, and those who've never read  a history book heartily agree, unless like Hillary, they believe in vast right wing conspiracies. That's different.

Actually, this isn't a surprise for me, and it shouldn't be a surprise for the Republicans.  While indicting a former President is a new twist on the politicization of law enforcement by Democrat prosecutors, it isn't a new concept.  Just like the fraudulent election of JFK was a precursor to the fraudulent election of Joe Biden, this political prosecutorial misconduct has been going on for decades.

The Senator Ted Stevens case is an example.  The end result of the political prosecution of Ted Stevens cost him the election in 2008.  His conviction was overturned.

The political prosecution of Tom DeLay is another.  They not only destroyed his reputation, they wanted him jailed.  His conviction was overturned.

Among the most outrageous was the long, long Wisconsin John Doe case witch hunt where out of control "Democrats did, in fact, launch a massive, multi-county “John Doe” investigation of the state’s conservatives, featuring extraordinarily broad subpoenas and coordinated “paramilitary” raids of private homes; the “crimes” that provided the investigation’s pretext were not crimes at all, but First Amendment-protected speech; and the legal theory underpinning the investigation was bunk, “unsupported in either reason or law,” as the court put it."

These prosecutorial persecutions, were all clearly immoral, if not illegal, and while failing on the surface, they worked to do what they really wanted.   Destroy those they went after, and the Republicans did nothing.   Just like the fraudulent election of JFK laid the foundation in the Democrat party to fraudulently elect Joe Biden, those outrageous prosecutions were the training ground and intellectual foundation for this political prosecution of Donald Trump.

Townhall does a great job summing this up the best in this piece, There's No Coming Back From This, saying:

Corrupt Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has decided to abuse the nation's justice and legal system to persecute the Democrats' top political opponent. This corrupt, Soros-backed DA, who was hell-bent on indicting President Trump over some made-up "charges," used their usual strategy...pick a target, then find a "crime."Is America officially a banana republic?Americans are seeing the weaponization of the legal system before their very eyes. This is what happens in third-world countries, not here.

The party in power, for the first time in the nation's history, has indicted a former president of the opposition party who is actively campaigning to take back the White House. This is unprecedented and despicable.

There's no coming back from this.If the leftist radicals can come for Donald Trump, they can come for you – and those like us who want to bring you the truth. We're sick of the double standard "justice" system. You don't need to look any further than how Trump is treated vs. how the Bidens are treated, especially Hunter Biden.

The Democrats have crossed the Rubicon.  They've now given every justification for any local prosecutor looking for notoriety to indict any national leader for anything they wish, and in the case of Biden, he's indictable because he's guilty of criminal activity, and so too is his family.  Then there's the Clintons, the Pelosi's and more. How much effort would it take to look into why so many professional politicians became so rich, and how much effort would it take to prove corruption?   As Jonathan Turley says, Bragg has made it sure Trump 'will not be the last' president indicted

The one thing they've really done is in total opposition to their goals.  They've now firmed up Republican support of Donald Trump, including the RINO's, as they won't dare go along with this as even as stupid as McConnell and Mitt Romney may be, they see how real the danger of all this is, and now the Republican base has totally become rock ribbed in their support of Trump.
