P&D Today

By Rich Kozlovich

Before Putin attacked I thought he was smart enough not to.  Therefore, this surprised me!  The long term negative consequences were obvious to me and many others I read, I believed they would be to Putin also.  When he did attack I thought he would cut right through Ukraine, he didn't.

However, even with the initial difficulties I thought he would still win.  I'm not so sure anymore, and even if he does, it will cost him dearly, and to be clear, we now know his military is overrated and there's no way he could march down the North European Plain and take Europe if America abandoned NATO and went home.

In fact, I doubt he would get past Poland now. I will have more on this.
