Are We Shocked at What We Learn From a Stalled Russian Army?

| Mar 24, 2022 |

Is Russia really the Superpower they think they are? By the sloppy conduct of their invasion of Ukraine, it could be argued that they are not. Putin, who thought four days would do it put false trust in his Generals. It has been four weeks and counting. Watching from afar, a surprised China is giving pause about their intentions to seize Taiwan simply because world reaction and Ukrainian push back, being so demonstrably successful, might inspire the Taiwanese to emulate them. The Chinese have no concerns anymore about Biden’s response. They know what it will be because they own him. But so do the Ukrainians.

Eastern European countries, also liberated, were going their own ways, and Western Europe got soft; Tourism flourished, and America, uninterested in anything but a stable Russia, deferred to the quiet on the Eastern front while turning our attention to the growing threat of Islamic terrorism. All but ignored was a growing post-Mao China seeing its future in trade and commerce as the best weapons to undermine and subvert the West, especially America.
