Russo/Ukrainian War: Part One, President Joe Biden

By Rich Kozlovich

Supposedly there is an old Turkish proverb that says:

"When a clown enters a castle, he does not become a king; rather the castle becomes a circus".

Well, whether that really is a Turkish proverb or not doesn't change the truth of it, and this administration is filled with clowns.  Here's how I define this administration:

The Biden Administration is full of people suffering from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris. Universally deluged with big egos, bad attitudes, uncontrolled pettiness, unparalleled incompetence, unbounded arrogance, ignorance without parameters, intrepid stupidity beyond measure.

On March 15, 2022 Donald J. Boudreaux published this piece, The CEO, which satirically defines who Biden is and what he stands for (make sure to read the article to understand the quote) saying:

“With such bizarre beliefs being so widespread, it’s no wonder that millions of Americans can listen to the likes of Joe Biden and think ‘Yeah! Our national government is in the hands of a competent CEO!’”

Patricia McCarthy published this piece, Biden's America: The inmates are running the asylum saying:

How does one sanely describe what has happened to the United States since Joe Biden was inaugurated?  The nation has been effectively ruined by the policies of Biden's band of incompetents; every Cabinet member is a disaster, promoted for his previous record of failure.  Not one of them is qualified for the jobs they've been given.  They were each chosen for precisely the wrong reason: their race, sex, or leftist/green activism.

In short, we now have a Kakistocracy: "A government run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens. A form of government in which the worst persons are in power."

This Russo/Ukrainian War has shown just how bad Biden and his band of misfits really are.  So let's start with the event leading up to this mess and who really are responsible, and that blame is wider than Biden, but it starts with him.

Political Cartoons by Tom Stiglich

First and foremost, let's state this as clearly as possible.   Biden's energy polices laid the foundation that gave Putin's the confidence to invade.  As Dennis Prager notes: This Invasion Is Brought to You by...Western Environmentalists saying:

For more than 40 years, the environmentalist movement has been warning that global warming is the result of mankind's burning of fossil fuels and poses an "existential threat" to human and other biological life. It should now be obvious that the "Greens," the environmentalist movement -- not global warming -- poses an existential threat to humanity. .........Were it not for the green movement, Putin would not have been confident that he could get away with invading Ukraine.

During Trump's presidency, and due to his policies, the United States became independent of foreign oil for the first time. Within months of assuming power, the Democratic Party, an extension of the environmentalist movement, forced America to revert to dependence on foreign oil, including Russian oil. Beholden to the environmentalists, candidate Joe Biden made promise after promise to curtail oil and gas production: no new fracking on government land, no drilling in the Alaskan Arctic, and shutting down the Keystone pipeline.

Putin got the message........not only is America once again dependent on foreign oil, Germany is dependent on Russian oil..............Environmentalists are, intentionally or not, in collusion with Putin to undermine America and the West.

When it comes to being wrong, environmentalists, and their leftist allies, almost have a monopoly on "being wrong"  Everything they've predicted has failed to materialize They just don't stop, despite not having facts on their side.
And let's try and get this....just once!  This effort to destroy America's energy production and use is a deliberate and direct attack on the American identity, the American culture, the American economy and the U.S. Constitutional. Once that's understood everything else falls into place.
Putin didn’t just one day have an epiphany giving him a new and amazing enlightenment that it was necessary for the defense of Russia to invade Ukraine.  This has been a goal forever with him, which I will address in Part Two.  But now, Biden's sanctions made that impossible. Biden's lifting the Nord Stream 2 sanctions was Putin's green light. This is the same President who vowed to destroy the "fossil" fuel industry of America and stopped the Keystone XL pipeline.  And he has bounced back and forth on this issue like a ping pong ball.

Pandra Selivanov's article, On Russia, we say one thing and pay another notes:

Biden extolled the courage of the Ukrainian people, saying their fight against Russia "inspires the world."  [Yet], at a time when Russia's economy is reeling from international sanctions, the United States is buying 650,000 barrels of oil a day.

Then the shift. Biden Bans Russian Oil, Insists His Climate Agenda is the Way Forward.

This bodes well the question: Is Joe Biden the worst President to ever sit in the White House?  Biden has done more than trip up the stairs of Air Force One, he's been an intellectual stumble bum for all of his life.  Tripping from one failure to another, except for one thing.  Corruption.

Biden's long Senate career was based on being the credit card companies' man in Washington.  While crowing endlessly about the working class being "his people," Biden sponsored bills allowing bank issuers to charge egregious interest rates and to make it harder for working men to escape the credit trap through bankruptcy.

He's also been an icon of contempt as when "he turned the confirmation of Clarence Thomas (who I consider one of the truly great SCOTUS jurists) into a political smear campaign.  He's been caught lying over and over again and has blatantly plagiarized the works of others. The man never had an original thought in his head his whole life.

When Barack Obama took him off the primary trash heap to make him vice president, Biden first made a hash out of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, wasting hundreds of billions on boondoggles and giveaways to Democrat cronies.  Little of the recovery billions was spent on anything useful to America.  Biden went on to manage our relations with China and Ukraine, pocketing untold millions for himself and his family by selling out America's security interests.

Biden has vacillated on every aspect of this mess, but here's what Putin sees.  A man who, like himself, loves being surrounded yes men, sycophants and flunkies.  A man sitting in the most powerful office in the world who is confused about what's going on around him, slow witted, slow moving, self absorbed, vague and prone to temper tantrums when challenged and spews out incomprehensible answers to simple questions, often angrily.

A man who has been appointing people to important positions who hold views that are absolutely  hostile to the American way of life and the Constitution.  The man who stole the most powerful job in the world is now going through a second childhood.  Does that give everyone a bit of concern?  We're still suffering from the policies and actions of the Carter administration, what will be the long term negative consequences of this administration.

Make no mistake: Putin saw this as his window of opportunity, and knows it's now or never.   All of this mess falls on Joe Biden, and the world's leaders know it.   This is a perfect example of the axiom, Be careful for what you wish for.

Update:  I realize now I will have to expand these Cast of Characters parts, as in Part One, (a), (b), (c), etc.  These updates will be the foundation for those additions.
