I belong to, and correspond with, an eclectic e-mail group that sends out a lot of stuff to the group daily. There are also others who send me a lot of stuff. I refer to them as correspondents, but view them all as friends, even though some I've never met. We exchange views on a host of issues facing the world today, and I decided to share the things they're finding interesting. A group of Iranian-backed extremists that Democrat President Joe Biden removed from the official Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) list reportedly launched attacks against Saudi Arabia over the weekend.
“The Saudi-led coalition said early on Sunday that the Iran-aligned Houthi group launched four attacks on the kingdom that damaged civilian cars and homes but caused no casualties,” Reuters reported. “Saudi state news agency (SPA) said one attack targeted a water desalination plant in the city of Al-Shaqeeq, an Aramco facility in Jizan, a power station in the southern Dhahran al Janub city, and a gas facility in Khamis Mushait.” ..............
Will the New York Times Apologize to Sen. Cotton? - Every recovery program starts with the mantra that the first step in dealing with a problem is to admit that you have a problem. That cathartic moment seems to have escaped the editors of the New
York Times in denouncing a cancel culture that they helped spread in the
media. Many of us were both bemused and bothered by the editorial in the New York Times
opposing cancel culture. The Times has not been some dedicated
antagonist of this culture but rather one of its most unabashed
ambassadors. Indeed, one of the most outrageous acts of cancellation by
the media was the treatment of Sen. Tom Cotton over his 2020 Times editorial.......

about the intel letter that 51 former, U.S. intelligence officials
signed trying to cast doubt on Hunter Biden’s laptop. In the letter, the
officials said they believed it was Russian disinformation. This was
despite also admitting they had no evidence to support the claim, and
they had no idea whether it was real or not. That should have told any
sentient being with one brain cell how much the letter was worth – that
they were willing to put out such a letter based on nothing......
Media lied about collusion and the laptop. Why believe them on Ukraine? - The images on TV from Ukraine are terrible. You
would have to have a heart of stone not to be moved by the media
images. And you would have to have a head of rock to fall for it again. The
media lied about Russian Collusion. The only collusion was between
Hillary and Obama's operatives and the Kremlin, where people seek
Putin's permission before they break wind.......

section of the Bronx, there once was a Public Intermediate School that,
sadly, was shut down because of poor performance. The school was
officially called I.S. 192, but it was also known as the
Piagentini-Jones School. That name was in honor of two NYPD patrolmen
who were gunned down in May 1971. Waverly Jones was 33; his partner, Joseph Piagentini, was 28. Each had been on the job for
five years. They were on foot patrol in a Harlem public housing
project when, at about 10 P.M., three assailants ambushed them. They
shot Jones in the back of the head, killing him instantly. He left
behind a wife and three children. They shot Piagentini 13 times. He died on the way to the hospital, leaving behind a wife and two children..........
A Kidnapping Case So Bizarre Police Thought It Was Hoax - In March 2015 - Aaron Quinn and Denise Huskins were at home when a man
broke in, drugged the couple and blindfolded them, before kidnapping
Huskins. When Quinn went to the police for help, he was accused of
making the story up and being responsible for Huskins’ disappearance,
possibly her murder. Years later, police would apologize for
assuming Quinn and Huskins had made the story up and arrested Matthew
Muller for the crime. On Friday, Muller was sentenced to 31 years in
state prison for the crime. .........
He Said Race Relations Have Improved Since The 1930s. Someone Reported Him To The School Bias Team. - By Ashe Schow - A professor at the State University of New York (SUNY)-Cortland was
reported after he told his class that race and gender relations had
improved since the 1930s.The professor, whose name has not been
reported, had apparently began his first class of the semester by saying
he was not “one of those America-is-evil academics,” according to a
student who filed a complaint against the professor afterward......
Comment -What
an utterly dismal state of affairs when a student can not only be so
incredibly ignorant, but actually report a professor for an "offense"
over something like this. And it sounds like there are tons of reports
from students, either along these lines, or for other utterly trivial
absurdities. And the insane administrators at the college actually thinks this sort of thing makes for a "diverse and inclusive community"!!!!
