My Thoughts On Ketanji Brown Jackson's Nomination

Most of what appears below is from this post with approximately 50 links tracking all the issues surrounding Judge Jackson. And I expect that number to grow substantially before this is all over.

By Rich Kozlovich

Update:  This appeared today on American Thinker, and should add more shock to this judge's rulings:   Who will vote to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson and why?

It amazes me at the people being chosen by Biden ...or whomever....since they're are so stunningly unqualified for any of the positions they're expected to fill, especially in the federal judiciary.  It's almost as if they have a conservative spy in their midst finding and trying to appoint the most distasteful people to important positions in order to expose who and what the left is, and what they want.

Now, this SCOTUS nominee,  Ketanji Brown Jackson, who Biden thinks is a "top flight legal mind", and who Paul Ryan is so thrilled about because she's so "obviously qualified"....... is all coming under scrutiny...... and she's not looking good.  Will she be confirmed?

As of right now, a substantial majority of Democrats support her nomination, a little over 20% of Independents support her, and there's a poll showing (I have no confidence in polls) 29% of Republicans say she should be confirmed. There's a reason the Republican party is called the Stupid Party.  But what I find interesting is 75% of Americans don't like the idea of Biden choosing someone simply because of their gender or race.

It all this is true, it makes you wonder at the cause of such cognitive dissonance in the American mind.

So, according to Chairman Durbin, Senator Hawley, who has presented indisputable evidence of "judicial activism" in her sentencing patterns dealing with child porn cases, lacks "credibility" while quoting Jackson's opinions.   Verbatim!

Now, how can anyone find fault with that kind of logic.  Right?  Or perhaps, just perhaps, logic isn't Dick Durbin's long suit?  Let's face it, facts, history, logic and consistency of thought isn't the strong suit for anyone on the left.  And it would appear not only are facts not his strong suit, he wants to make sure the Senate Committee doesn't get confused by having too many facts available.  Dick Durbin blocks documents showing Ketanji Brown Jackson's judicial record.  How much of her judicial record is he trying to hide?  Just a mere piddling 48,000 pages.  And I did say hide, so what are they hiding?

Hawley, Cruz and the rest are going to be attacked in every way possible, including being accused, even if not directly, of promoting violence against this nominee.  Yet it's the most radical groups who are demanding she be affirmed to the court.  Does anyone see anything wrong with all that horsepucky besides me?  Sen. This link is a "favorite" of mine - That’s Racist: The Morons On The View Hype Ketanji Brown Jackson -  and the reason why is because I'm baffled by the ratings garnered by The View.  I quote, "ABC's “The View” ranked No. 1 in Households and Total Viewers 1.7 rtg and 2.385 million, respectively".

I don't watch it because I think watching The View lowers the IQ, so I can only cite what others have written, and if a fraction of what's written about their views on reality is factual, that's got to be one of the worst sources of misinformation and downright stupidity in the world.  Which bodes well these questions:

  1. Are there really that many really dumb people in America?
  2. Do 2.385 million households really watch that swill?

Well, I've thought about this, and now, in an odd sort of way, I find that encouraging. Why? If there are, as claimed, 122.4 million TV households in America, that means 120 million households don't watch The View.  It gets better. As of 2019 there were 1.7 billion TV households worldwide. That means 1,697,615,000 households world wide not only don't watch The View, most of them never heard of The View.

Now that's encouraging. Don't you think?
