Spare Me the Polls, Show Me Crowds!

By Rich Kozlovich

On September 2, 2019 By Dave Ball entitled, Trump in a Landslide: Here's Why, saying:
How does one know what the voting public thinks?
He goes on to say:
Once upon a time, long, long ago, public opinion polls may have reflected, however faintly, some generalization of public opinion. For a multitude of reasons, that is no longer true. To demonstrate that point, compare the August 29 Rasmussen poll showing President Trump’s approval rating of 47 percent with the Quinnipiac reported approval rating of 38 percent. Even more irrational are the Quinnipiac poll result that whatever is left of Joe Biden would beat Trump 54 percent to 38 percent in a general election and the Economist poll number that asserts that 55 percent of the public thinks the country is headed in the wrong direction. It is a near certainty that none of those numbers reflects reality.
After my 2016 visit to the fair, I reported that Trump was going to win Washington County big. Why? Enthusiasm was enormous. Trump hats were everywhere. People were wearing Trump shirts and Trump pins. These were not all registered Republicans, either.
There was a large booth selling Trump merchandise and doing a land office business. There was no similar Clinton enterprise. The parking lot really told the story. Literally thousands of pickup trucks, gun racks behind the seats, many with Trump stickers and campaign messages on bumpers and tailgates. Mixed in were Mercedes and Lexus, many with similar stickers. If Mercedes and Lexus made gun racks, they would have had those, too.
I was at my Old Man's Breakfast Klatch the other day when an irregular visitor came in and said Trump is going to lose big time. We laughed and I said he wasn't going to lose.  He was going to win with a landslide. He looked shocked. I said I don't care what these polls are saying when they claim almost all of the front running Democrat candidates could beat Trump. I haven't believed in polls for 25 years. What do I believe in? Crowds!

On one occasion people lined up for days to see Trump. Name one candidate on the left that's demonstrated that kind of excitement and enthusiasm! Let's face it. The Democrat party has an old white bumbling dummy as the front runner. Then there is a stupid old white insane communist and an old white stupid fake indian running a close second. These are the Democrat Party's offerings to the American public.

However, the Democrat party base is made up of young insane stupid leftists, racist blacks, Hispanics who hate America, Muslims who really hate America, left wing Jews and Asians, college students, and violent radicals who are trying to impose a fascist society on America by force.

Who appeals to them? Bernie!  But he's not the front runner. The rest of the party prefers a lying Pocahontas, who may be even dumber and more insane than Bernie, but the biggest portion is going to the dumblumbling Biden, since dumb and bumbling is better than dumb and insane.

However, it's my view the radicals will not vote for anyone that isn't as radical as are they.  So, it's my view they will do what the conservatives did in 2008 and 2012. Stay home on election day! Conservatives absolutely recognized who McCain and Romney really were, and absolutely refused to vote for them.  It seems to me this radical party base will refuse to vote for anyone that isn't a hate America and the Constitution far left radical.

The moderate Democrats (If such a thing actually exists any longer) may vote, but will they vote for a Democrat?  The really moderate Democrats, if they exist, will vote for Trump, and this time I expect to see a lot of Jews, and Italian Catholic Democrats, vote for Trump.  Furthermore, I believe he will carry the party to a majority in the House and expand the seats in the Senate.

Happy Labor Day!
