My Take - So, Avery Mills is going to be a Muslim and "take her own path"? What planet is she from?
Once she marries a Muslim, she will take whatever path he tells her to take, even if she lives in America. If she moves to Syria, she will be what all Muslim women are who are living in Sharia inforced nations. A slave, to be used as her husband sees fit!
And when she realizes what a fool she was - then she'll do what a lot of stupid Western women did in the past - plead for America or their country of origin to get them out. They and their children.
Generally, that's an effort in futility, especially for getting the children out.
