Prior to the House Judiciary Committee vote to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt of Congress on Wednesday, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) delivered a scorching speech in which he told Democrats the unvarnished truth. They want to silence Barr before he exposes the whole conspiracy. Jordan said:
Bill Barr is following the law. What’s his reward? Democrats are going to hold him in contempt. I don’t think today is about getting information. I don’t think it’s about getting the unredacted Mueller Report…I think it’s all about trying to destroy Bill Barr because Democrats are nervous he’s going to get to the bottom of everything.
