Deadly Incompetence

Incompetence destroys. Weakness kills. The disastrous debacle in Afghanistan signaled to Vladimir Putin that the time to strike is while Joe Biden is in charge.  Just yesterday, Biden blinked and declined Poland's offer of fighter jets, leaving Ukraine struggling to defend its skies as equipment runs short.

Biden continually tells Putin what America will not do. Mister President, it is not wise to inform the criminals that the police will not be coming. Particularly if it is likely they won't.  How can we expect a President to stand up to Putin if he lacks the courage to even stand up to the Green-Left and unleash America's energy might?  Look at this clueless tweet from the POTUS: 

 

"Tyrants like Putin" includes Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and the mad Mullahs in Iran. Yet it is they whom Biden is asking to step up energy production. Anyone who believes that purchasing gas and oil from tyrants rather than Americans will lower the temperature of the Globe does not understand energy, the climate, or freedom.  

Have you seen White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki's outrageous press briefings and her latest misinformation video? Psaki keeps citing unused energy leases as evidence that all is well on the American energy front.  This is nonsense.  We posted a very detailed point by point debunking of Psaki's energy leases political talking points by Kathleen Sgamma to CFACT.org.  Read it and arm yourself with energy facts.  As Sgamma clearly explains, the 9,000 leases figure is meaningless, "if permits aren't approved (4,500 outstanding) & with myriad other delays the administration puts in the way of American producers."

By the way, is Jen Psaki aware that the wind, solar and electric cars the Left so loves, are dependent on rare earths, metals and manufacturing from China and Russia?  The Greens, with China's and Russia's active funding and assistance, are blocking American mining as well!

Unleash American energy. We won't stop tyrants with daydreams of wind, solar and electric cars.

Kirchner was referencing a comment made by White House spokeweasel Jen Psaki, who blamed inflationary rises in meat prices on the "greed" of corporations rather the hard Economics 101 fact that inflation is a problem of too much money in the system (which can be brought on by monster government spending) chasing too few goods in the economy. Sunday Talks, Psaki Gives Away the Ukraine Game – Russia Is Needed As Fall Guy for Biden Energy Policy and Economic Damage

During an ABC interview today, White House Spokesperson Jennifer Psaki gave away the game for the Biden Administration’s intent on exploiting the Russia-Ukraine crisis.

Keep in mind, as the Biden team were getting pummeled for negative economic outcomes, massive inflation, skyrocketing energy costs and gas prices set to double, the White House worked to create an urgent defense by manufacturing the crisis.

While Joe Biden ate his pudding, the people behind the scenes told Zelenskyy and Putin that Ukraine was about to enter NATO {December 2021}.  The White House then seeded details through China knowing the intel would get back to Putin.  Russia took the bait and intervened.

The collective left (far more western leader beneficiaries on a global scale) now have a quick and strategic pivot point to go from COVID-19 as the excuse for all the economic ills, to Russia.   The Russia-Ukraine crisis transfers the cost of the Build Back Better climate change agenda from COVID-19 to Russia/Ukraine.  We can now watch COVID just disappear.

The BBB agenda, domestically known as the Green New Deal, intentionally makes energy costs skyrocket.  By creating the Ukraine crisis, gas prices specifically are no longer blamed on COVID-19 (the original fraudulent justification).  Gas prices are now rising because of Russia and the villainous Vladimir Putin.  Climate change policy outcomes are made palatable by blaming Putin......To Read More...

 

Afghanistan, Biden, Reality, and the Wonderful World of Imagination

On August 16, 2021 Monica Showalter published this piece, Biden administration turns into a dumpster fire of blame-evasion, saying:

 

Sheer cowardice has always been a Biden hallmark, so it might at first glance seem to be why Joe Biden is now in hiding as Afghanistan's collapse, the biggest foreign policy failure since Vietnam, engulfs the news.

But evidence is mounting that something different is going on: the Biden team is splintering into some kind of internal warfare and trying to conceal its disarray...... The Bidenites aren't stupid enough to believe their own propaganda about the Afghan horror.......... something that can be gone and forgotten if they can stay away from the cameras for a few days.  They know that this is a defeat of epic proportions. So we are indeed seeing signs of an administration in disarray.

So what does Biden do?  He goes into hiding, with Jill Biden saying he "could ‘project his leadership’ from anywhere".  Big eye rolling smirk and a chuckle, or even a guffaw, is called for here. So like Mrs. Edith Wilson preventing access to her incapacitated husband, Jill is calling the shots, and Old Joe is clueless.   For eight years I thought Obama as the dumbest President ever, even surpassing Jimmy Carter, surrounding himself with people who competed to see who would be dumb and who could be dumber. Obama is now number two and Carter is three.  The Biden administration make the dumbbells in both of those administrations look like Solons.

Then we have Jen Psaki on vacation.  Really? Now when Old Joe needs his number one fabricator, equivocator and prevaricator? His spinner of yarns and teller of tales is "on vacation" leaving the heavy lifting to underlings!  Imagine that!  However, while Afghanistan may not be a priority for Jen, she did have time to make this video, clearly establishing this administration's priorities and mentality.  Not to mention their degree of competence.

Then we have Kamala Harris who reportedly is really upset with Old Joe as she thinks they're trying to pin the blame for this fiasco on her.  So, what do we have thus far.  Joe went into hiding, Jen went on vacation, Jill is in charge and Kamala is outraged she's going to be blamed, which must mean her bragging about playing a "major role in Afghanistan pullout", was a lie?  Imagine that!

Remember how the media excoriated George Bush for being at his Texas ranch, with Cindy Sheehan protesting outside his ranch outraged he wasn't at the White House at all times during the Iraq War?  No particular crisis, just not at the White House.  How many times has the media ripped into Trump for going golfing?  Can you imagine what the media would be doing now if Trump was President and he went on "vacation" at a time like this?  

Whose kidding who?  

They're all in hiding because they've been sitting in a self congratulatory echo chamber full of head nodding economic, military and policy dullards and incompetents telling each other how brilliant they all are.  All living in a media supported wonderful world of imagination.  

But now they're confused and frightened, because they're now discovering reality isn't a wonderful world of imagination.  Reality is hard, it's often brutal and reality requires someone other than a cowardly dullard, his ambitious wife, and a band of equally dull, ignorant incompetents to do the heavy lifting.  Imagine that!

It's one thing to be ignorant.  That's fixable by learning!  But these people are arrogant, and arrogant people are never wrong and will revel in their ignorance.  As for Joe, after his totally lackluster career, where he attempted to monopolize being wrong for almost 50 years in government, Joe is the most ignorant, arrogant and incompetent of them all, and that was known long before this fraudulent election.  And who really knows Biden's real condition today. 

I never bought into anything saying there was harmony in this administration. Or anything that resembles harmony, and the reason why is because there's no one who is actually in charge setting the agenda and parameters of activity.  When that happens there are power struggles where major egos and major differences of view and differences in agenda come into play.  When that happens you get disaster, not harmony.

Finally, do I hear 25th Amendment anyone?  And Kamala just waiting in the wings.  Any bets on how that must really make Jill and her acolytes all warm and fuzzy?  Any bets on how that makes the Democrat party cringe?  What about the rest of the nation?  The sane in America cringe in horror and fear at the thought.  Only left wing lunatics are pleased, since Biden isn't far enough to the left. But no matter how left you may be, eventually it will not be far enough as there are no boundaries on the left. 

But no matter what, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, this administration and this Democrat Congress is a clear and present danger to America, and to the world.

Imagine that!

Jen Psaki Says It's Sexist To Be Called "Nice"

What absolute lunacy. Now being "nice" is sexist. Well, okay Psaki, you're a lying jerk. There, I wasn't sexist, I was honest, isn't that nice?

White House press secretary Jen Psaki told Vogue Magazine that it’s sexist when people describe her as “nice” in an interview published Monday.  Psaki likened being called “nice” to the sound of “nails on a chalkboard.”  “I was introduced to a foreign delegation in the hallway the other day as ‘This is Jen. You may have seen her do the briefings. She’s a really nice person.’ I’m like, really?” Psaki told the outlet. “You can’t think of a better description?”

Psaki continued, saying it’s “sexist and a little diminishing” to describe her as “nice.” “It’s also this desire to put people in a box,” she added. “Yes, sometimes I’m friendly and joyful, and sometimes I’m tough, and sometimes I’m straightforward.”..........To Read More....

Big Tech is Censoring Americans Using UN Law

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki warned that her administration was “flagging problematic posts for Facebook" and urged, "you shouldn't be banned from one platform and not others."

Psaki was not just advocating a theoretical approach, but discussing the shared infrastructure built by Big Tech monopolies, the United Nations and assorted governments for doing just that.

In his PJ Media article, Tyler O’Neil dug into the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT) which is funded by Google, Facebook, Microsoft and currently chaired by Twitter. Its advisory committee members include the United Nations, the European Union, and the British, French, and Canadian governments as well as the National Security Council in the U.S.

GIFCT had been set up by the industry in response to pressure from governments to remove Jihadist propaganda, but its Hash Sharing Consortium, a secret database of terrorism content to be immediately removed when its 13 dot com companies come across it, is secret, and so there's no way for anyone to know if they've been targeted and no appeal from the secret list.

The creation of a secret “No Fly List” for the internet by the biggest monopolies which control over 80% of social media content and much of the self-created video content on the internet would be troubling enough, but by 2019, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon had joined the Christchurch Call which advocates not just banning terrorist material, but fighting its root causes by strengthening "inclusiveness" and fighting "violent extremism".

To that end, the Dynamic Matrix of Extremisms and Terrorism (DMET) was deployed which goes through 4 different levels beginning with "partisanship" and ending with terrorism. DMET defines the initial levels of violent extremism as using "dehumanizing language" which can be described as nearly any criticism of a group.

Big Tech has built its own matrix. And we’re all in it.

As O'Neil documented the resulting “matrix” is a dangerous and bizarre list which classifies Sinn Fein and the Scottish National Party, alongside NARAL and "Anti-Vaxxers" as partisans on the first level of DMET. It's unclear what a top pro-abortion group, the ruling leftist party of Scotland, the political face for the IRA, and opponents of vaccination have in common, but out of such confusingly disparate material, Big Tech has built its censorship matrix.

At the second level, alongside Neo-Nazi groups like Combat 18, the Bundy Family (a family, not an organization) and the Animal Liberation Front, which actually is a terrorist organization, is Jihad Watch.

The respected counterterrorism blog by historian and researcher Robert Spencer and his associates (I have been among them) has been an invaluable resource for chronicling Islamic terrorism and colonialism and represents the opposite of violent extremism.

As Robert Spencer wrote on Jihad Watch, "This is pure libel. We have never advocated or approved of any violence or any illegal activity of any kind."

The DMET is just a more sophisticated pseudoscientific database of the kind that the Southern Poverty Law Center, whose materials have contributed to it, has deployed over the years.

One such database listed my blog, Sultan Knish, as a hate group, alongside a brand of gun oil, and a bar sign in Pennsylvania. These databases may have a Kafkaesque absurdity, but the consequences to lives, livelihoods, and careers are all too real with my blog showing up on the Color of Change list pressuring Big Tech monopolies to cut off funding and access to my site, as well as Jihad Watch, the David Horowitz Freedom Center, and many other conservative groups.

Big Tech companies have begun building their own databases in coordination with governments. And these secret databases determine who has access to the public square of the internet, who can earn a living, and who ends up being deplatformed and unpersoned.

“If we are ‘extremist,’ so is the U.S. Constitution, for we are trying to defend the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and the equality of rights of all people before the law,” Robert Spencer wrote. But DMET, GFICT, and other interfaces between governments and tech monopolies aren’t using the Constitution. They’re censoring based on United Nations law.

When Facebook’s Oversight Board issued its verdict on censoring President Trump, it did not list a single item of United States law, including the First Amendment, but cited the Rabat Plan of Action, and articles of the UN's International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).

GFICT’s DMET matrix cites the Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court to declare that preventing "dehumanization" is an "imperative under international law". Like Facebook’s decision to censor the former president, there’s no mention of the Constitution, but international law is repeatedly cited. Most disturbingly, a GFICT attempt to define terrorism collates a variety of definitions including attacks "against social cohesion" which the UN itself has noted is used to censor speech and political opponents as well as efforts to suppress Mohammed cartoons.

Tier 4 of the Content Taxonomy for what gets censored by Big Tech includes only one example targeting a group: “fear of Muslims is rational" thereby essentially banning most counterrorism, advocacy against unlimited immigration as well the Trump political campaign.

While Americans slept, Big Tech adopted UN standards to eliminate the Constitution.

Big Tech monopolies are no longer just enforcing local laws, moderating content in America or in the European Union based on the different standards in each country, instead all speech on the major platforms is being policed in line with the United Nations and its “international law”.

No black helicopters or blue helmets were needed. United Nations law came to the United States through the Big Tech monopolies that we turned over our speech and economy too.

Facebook now censors a former president in line with UN regulations. And censors all of us too.

GFICT is another example of UN regulations controlling our speech. We’re all drones living in the UN’s “Matrix” now as companies more powerful than governments impose international law.

Big Tech’s censorship matrix targets Robert Spencer and critics of Islam because censorship of dissenting religious views has been a longtime project of Islamic groups within the UN.

“They have all the power, and they mean to shut down dissent, and that means our days here are numbered,” Robert Spencer wrote. How long will it be until Did Muhammad Exist? Did An Inquiry into Islam's Obscure Origins, the newly revised and expanded version of Spencer's classic work, is censored the way that Amazon, which dominates the ebook market, suppressed Ryan T. Anderson’s When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment.

Libertarians and some establishment conservatives keep protesting that private companies have the right to censor whom they please. But the UN is the opposite of a private company.

When massive monopolies act in concert with governments and multinational alliances, like the EU and the UN, to eliminate free speech in line with UN international law, that’s not private action. If we don’t have the courage to confront the ‘matrix’ of big governments and Big Tech, of Google and the UN, or Amazon and the EU, we will lose our rights, our identity, and our nation. We are all used to political spin and outright lies. We’re especially used to them when they come from the left. However, Jen Psaki’s recent statement to the press about “our southern border” is so unbelievable that there are only two possible explanations: 

(1) Psaki and the entire Biden administration are psychotically delusional, which is scary considering the power they wield or 

(2) they are clear-eyed about the power they wield and the control they have over the narrative, which means they’re making these laughable claims to taunt their political opponents, which is even scarier.

Biden versus Trump: the Effectiveness of Their Press Secretaries

  The contrast couldn't be more stark: The difference between Jen Psaki and Kayleigh McEnany reveals a great deal about the respective presidents who hired them. Jen Psaki is unaware of Joe Biden’s positions on a large number of issues, but then so is he. She often answers reporters by saying that she'll have to ‘circle back’ to that. By now, she must be quite dizzy. 

In contrast, Kayleigh McEnany upheld the position with aplomb. She appeared at each press conference with high energy. She walked with purpose, stepped on the podium, opened her notebook, and was ready for action.

My Take -  On March 12, 2021 I published this commentary, Transparency and the Press Secretary: Biden Versus Trump asking:

So then why does Psaki have to circle back so often?  Is she lazy? Is she incompetent?  Is she stupid? Is she surrounded with stupid and/or incompetent staff?  I don't think any of that is the real issue.  I think she has to circle back because she has no idea what her boss really thinks. 

Well, I still agree she has no idea what Biden's views really are since as this author point out, "neither does he".  However, I have to wonder if I was being too kind my evaluation of her and her staff.  Why?  Now that we're finding she's totally disorganized, so the question her work ethic becomes important.  Which of course brings her competence and her intelligence into question, not to mention the quality of the people she's surrounds herself with.

 On March 5th Charlie Kirk posted this piece, McEnany On Psaki 'Circling Back' To Reporters: 'I Always Knew Where My Boss Stood.

If Kayleigh McEnany or any of the Trump media people had done what Psaki has done it would have been 24/7 headlines of  how Trump was hiding and unwilling to be "transparent" to the American people, and the first thing that comes out of their mouths is - The American people have a right to know.  But that's  only true when it's a Republican or a conservative.  For leftists and Democrats that doesn't apply. 

McEnany was very gracious to Psaki wishing her the best and noting that being Press Secretary is:

 "a very hard job. But that being said, we took great pains in our administration to do hours and hours and hours of research beforehand, days sometimes, calling (former Secretary of Health and Human Services) Secretary (Alex) Azar sometimes, calling (former Department of Justice spokesperson) Kerri Kupec over at the Justice Department to get answers.”

So then why does Psaki have to circle back so often?  Is she lazy? Is she incompetent?  Is she stupid? Is she surrounded with stupid and/or incompetent staff?  I don't think any of that is the real issue.  I think she has to circle back because she has no idea what her boss really thinks.  This article, Psaki Claims The Border Is Not The WH's Problem, I think is instructive as to how clueless she is, and it isn't her fault.    I doubt she has easy access to Biden and worse yet, even if she did, for all practical purposes he's confused and just about drooling. 

As Kurt Schlichter notes in his piece, The Emperor Is Naked and Senile Too:

We now have an entire media blissfully watching Dictator Demento stagger about with a trail of spit stretching from his piehole.......You’d think they might mention that the guy is manifestly in decline, since we all see it. But they won’t. It’s bizarre. No, the emperor’s new clothes are fantastic. Look at that tailoring on his bib!

He goes on to note, and I think this is an important point in understanding what Psaki has to deal with:

But there are no people close to Joe Biden who care more about Joe Biden’s dignity than their own selfish interests, so they’ll all try to ride this elderly nag until he drops. Maybe literally. But to get them to act voluntarily, he’ll have to be in a coma – well, more of one than usual – before the refs call the 25th Amendment penalty and send Sleepy Joe back to Delaware and his friend Nutsy the Squirrel, who lives in the sycamore in the backyard and sometimes talks to him..............We all know Biden’s senile. The people who should have told us do too, but instead of telling us the truth they are lying to us, even though they know we know they are lying to us. Ask yourself what else they are lying about.  Wait, I’ll help you out – the answer is “Everything.”

What does all of that mean? It means Joe Biden's not making the decisions and nothing they say can be trusted.  Who are making the decisions?  Is it Kamala Harris, Susan Rice, or Jill Biden?  Who knows how many others surrounding Biden are making policy decisions while jockeying for power, possibly making policy decisions arbitrarily and not even bothering to tell Biden or the rest what they're doing. 

 

 How does a Press Secretary keep up under those circumstances? 

Whereas in McEnany's case, “I always knew where my boss stood.”  Furthermore, as Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade asked:

“Let’s talk about the job you used to have for a second. You had those big binders in front of you; I understand it. You had answers almost every single time. You knew roughly where they were gonna go."

 Her response:

“You can’t anticipate every question, but is that acceptable? You’re like a crossing guard.....“And the great thing about being in the Trump White House was I always knew where my boss stood,”... “Unlike other press secretaries that maybe didn’t have walk-in privileges to the Oval, I could walk in at any time. I always knew where he stood. Before every press conference, I would go in with a list of items that I thought the press would ask and go through one by one. I always knew where his head was at, so I didn’t have to do a ton of circling back because President Trump gave a lot of access to me.”

There's a huge difference between Biden and Trump.  McEnany notes:

He was always willing to take questions, always willing to go to the podium, always willing to stop on his way to the helicopter. Transparency is what he offered, and Joe Biden vowed transparency. Now he’s set a 100-year record for not going to the podium.”  That’s -what President Trump offered. He gave transparency.

When this first started being an issue over Psaki's "I'll circle back to you" comments, my first thought was: "Where did they find this loon?"   So let me circle back by saying:  Then you quickly dismiss that knowing how insane this administration really is and then realize it's doubtful she has much access to Biden, let alone the ready access McEnany had. However, even if she has that kind of access, Biden could say one thing to her and an hour later say something diametrically opposed, and believe both are correct. 

 

After coming to that conclusion this question has to come to mind: "Could anyone else do any better job at turning crap into ice cream"?   Answer?  No!  

 

I expect to see this Press Secretary job turn over faster than for any President in the last fifty years.

Delusional or deliberate? The great leftist disconnect from reality

America's Democrat party leftists are disconnected from reality. All leftists believe the fantasy that the government can manage the economy. However, America’s leftists also believe, to name three big examples, that sexes can magically switch places, that ending our criminal justice system reduces crime, and that a country can simultaneously sustain an open border and a welfare state. On a smaller delusional scale, Press Secretary Jen Psaki revealed her disconnect from small business concerns, and the New York Times was horrified by “unfettered conversations.”

Jen Psaki, who serves as Joe Biden’s Press Secretary, is an excellent choice in many ways. She’s comfortable appearing uninformed and unintelligent before the media. She knows that they won’t call her out and apparently doesn’t care what the American people think.
