Many people thought there would be protests following Donald Trump’s landslide Election Day victory. Never happened. Now so-called resistance leaders are concerned they won’t get the masses to protest in D.C. on January 18, two days before the second inauguration.

Some reasons there’s resistance to the resistance:

On November 15, Michael Schaffer at left-leaning Politico wrote an article “The Resistance is Not Coming to Save You. It’s Tuning Out.” The subheading was:

“The first Trump administration sparked waves of public activism and aggressive media coverage. This time, not so much.”

Last week, Vermont Independent/Socialist Bernie Sanders posted a favorable X comment re DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency):

"Elon Musk is right. The Pentagon, with a budget of $886 billion, just failed its 7th audit in a row. It's lost track of billions. Last year, only 13 senators voted against the Military Industrial Complex and a defense budget full of waste and fraud. That must change."

Also that week, California Democrat Representative Ro Khanna tweeted: “When it comes to cutting waste, fraud, and abuse and opening the 5 primes to more competition, there are Democrats on HASC [the House Armed Services Committee] who will work with @elonmusk and @DOGE."

Republican Representatives Pete Sessions (Texas) and Aaron Bean (Florida) launched the Congressional DOGE Caucus, which is open to all members. Florida Representative Jared Moskowitz became the first Democrat to join. His statement included:

“Today, I will join the Congressional DOGE Caucus, because I believe that streamlining government processes and reducing ineffective government spending should not be a partisan issue.”

MSNBC anti-Trump Morning Joe hosts Mike Brezinski and husband Joe Scarborough sought and had a Mar-a-Lago meeting with Trump.

Leftist Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, whose META company adheres to censorship, had dinner with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago. (Yes, Zuckerberg sees which way the wind blows, but he was kissing Trump’s ring all the same.)

The liars on The View are now regularly corrected with legal notes. (And don’t they look so happy reading them?)

Left-leaning newspapers want more conservative voices on their opinion page. The Los Angeles Times just added CNN’s lone conservative voice Scott Jennings. (Jennings is the only reason to watch CNN. He does a masterful job challenging liberal insanity.)

New York Representative (and socialist) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (aka AOC) dropped her social media pronouns following the election. AOC claims her pronouns were dropped for space reasons. We are sure she could have found room for them. AOC’s new pronouns are:

We/Lost.
