A happy group of free men and women enjoying the beach on a hot summer day in Iran before the 1979 revolution

A day at beach in Iran, 1970s. Before the Islamic Revolution ...

Almost overnight, the Islamic Revolution sent the modern, westernized Iran back to the dark ages, where it remains today. The Ayatollah Khomeini deposed the Shah of Iran and at the same time deposed all the advancements of modern society, especially for women. Women were tossed out of colleges, jobs, and government; they basically became slaves hidden in burqas. The photos show how women dressed in Iran before the revolution and how they were forced afterwards.

One reason for the revolution was that the Shah (who was not perfect by any means), moved Iran too fast into the modern world during his reign. From 1953 to 1979, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi (known as “the Shah”) governed as a secular and authoritarian leader. During this time, Iran maintained good relations with both the United States and Israel.

The key word is “overnight.” By history’s standards, overnight can be years. It simply denotes events happened quickly. When historians look back at Joe Biden’s destruction of America (now in its fourth year) they will surmise that it happened “overnight.” But let’s not put all the blame on Marxist Democrats.

There are many RINOs assisting the Biden administration, who are leaving the House before their term expires, increasing chances that it could flip to the Democrats before the next election. Remember, RINOs are the Uniparty who hate America First Patriots. They gladly join radical socialist Democrats efforts to stop Donald Trump from being re-elected.

If the House and Senate are both Democrat controlled, there’s a possibility they could pass a law keeping Trump off the ballot. The Supreme Court of the United States made this clear in their March 4 ruling (9-0) that put Trump back on the Colorado ballot. From the SCOTUS decision:

“The Constitution empowers Congress to prescribe how those determinations should be made. The relevant provision is Section 5, which enables Congress, subject of course to judicial review, to pass “appropriate legislation” to “enforce” the Fourteenth Amendment.”

Should Democrats be successful in removing the Republican party nominee, the consequences would be devastating to our constitutional republic. This is why it is critical that we know the if “R” after a candidate’s name stands for RINO.
