Over the years I've commented on many articles, and as I've re-read them I thought... hey.... that's not bad, and used some of them as the basis for articles.  Here is a commentary based on some of my observations as listed in Disquis, that I kinda liked.  

There was a report that Elon Musk takes his son to a lot of events exposing him to the public, which I think is nuts given that puts him in harms way for kidnapping.  However, you have to ask, what kind a lunatic names his child X Æ A-Xii? Along with three (error alert, actually four.  RK) others named,  Nevada, Saxon, and get these two names, Exa Dark Sideræl, Techno Mechanicus. If there was ever any evidence of interstellar aliens on the planet, he's it. And would clearly qualify as their ambassador. There's something seriously wrong with this guy. As for the women who've married and/or bared his children; they must have a screw loose.

I often wonder at the insane desire to climb Mt. Everest. It's been done.  There's nothing there!  Really, there's nothing there, other than a lot of dead bodies of those who didn't make in and are frozen in place, most of which have never been found.  I can at least understand the desire to be the first to explore the impossible, after that, who cares?

In this piece one of the early climbers who failed wrote his last letter to his wife, proclaiming his love and devotion.  Well, I've never understood this foolish risk of life, but at least in those days, this kind of spirit is what it meant to be British. Those type of men were the bone and fiber of the Empire, and now, the idea, "", is a delusion of past glories, as England morphs into Englanistan, right along with the rest of Europe.

This article I think really highlights the difference between truth and reality versus leftist delusion and propaganda.  These Pregnancy Rules Could Upend the Workplace, which is fertile ground for a bit of snark, since they're making separate rules for women, pregnant women.  But none for pregnant men? Wow!   How's that fair?   Does that now mean those who insisted that men and women are the same, were wrong, and they really aren't the same? 

I just had a thought. Does that mean trans sexuals who profess to be women, aren't real women, and shouldn't be competing with "real" women in athletics? I don't know, it sounds a bit heretical to leftist dogma to me. Can that open up a can of heretical worms.  Just a thought! 

I've always liked Bill Belichick, and I felt Art Model did him a disservice firing him from the Browns, but his career has been amazing.  But I have to ask, when is  enough...enough?  He's probably going down in NFL history as the greatest professional coach ever, and he's still hustling for a job.   I'm soon to be 78, and retired. I used to say if you can get someone to pay you to do something you'd do for free, it's not a job. After I retired I realized anything that "required" me to do something ...anything.... it was a job.

We work in order to survive and provide food, clothing, and shelter for our families. Hopefully we will have at some point earned enough to not have to work and get a paycheck. When that happens, and we're getting old, it's time to hang it up and start expanding our horizons, do other things that are enjoyable, enjoy time with the family, especially the grand children.  

"We live our lives between the eternities, from the sweet grass to the slaughter house", and time is short, as we get older, time goes by faster, so don't waste it on a job, no matter how much you enjoy that job, it's still a job, and takes you away from the really important stuff in life.  Waddayathink?

Hollywood is filled with overpaid under smart people who just happen to be able to sing, dance, act better than most, and somehow think they need to share with the world all their views.  Which they acquired through experience in life when they were waiting tables, parking cars, and pumping gas, before they were "discovered".  It turns out Cher is miffed at the Hall of Fame because she's not in it.   Now, isn't that just special, and....who really cares?   The problem with modern athletes and entertainers is they actually think they're important, and their views are important. They're not, they're just overpaid.

Then there's Robert De Niro, who claims Trump supporters have ‘already turned their backs’ on ‘democracy’ .  There is really something seriously wrong with this man's mind, starting with being dumb as dirt.  Then he's a great actor, just ask him, he'll tell ya.

Hollywood is a mess, and is in for a big shock, and it's called AI.  They went on strike, and it wasn't as easy as they thought.  Remember, not many are stars making all those obscene amounts of dollars.  All because they were good at memorizing lines someone else wrote, saying them at the direction of other people in order to sound really smart, and all along pretending to be people who never existed.  The rest are just working stiffs, and apparently some of them were facing evictions, and living in their cars.  Well, reality really bites doesn't it. But hey, at least they're all woke.  Right!  Isn't that sufficient?

Oh, wait, I just had a thought.  Since it's the actors at the low end of the totem pole who are going broke, along with the technicians and writers, why aren't the woke multimillionaire stars and producers giving them money?  They've been lecturing America about this for decades, so, I naturally thought they reveled in the Marxist concept of equity, you know, "From each according to his ability and to each according to his needs".

Wow! Oh, wait, I just had a thought. Is it possible they really don't believe in that when it's their money? Is it possible these ultra rich celebrities are hypocrites? Could be!  Of course there is one solution. These low level actors could go out and get a job waiting tables, pumping gas, and parking cars, you know, where they stated before they believed it was their responsibility to lecture the "deplorables", who have jobs, on how how life should be lived.

Adam Driver, for reasons I find unfathomable, is one of the big rising stars, and he's upset the big guys won't buckle under to the strikers.  Imagine that, and the big guys should care what he thinks why?   The writers and actors are delusional if they think they can negotiate to prevent AI from taking their jobs. Advancements in technology ended a lot of manufacturing jobs, and advancements in computer technology are going to end a lot of Hollywood jobs. Schadenfreude!

But let's not delude ourselves, there are real dangerous social issues involving this technology, and we're going to see a massive effort to curtail some of the things they will be able to do.

Cindy McCain says Trump lacks character and we need to restore character to politics.  Just like her husband who as fast friends with crime family boss Joe Biden and was one of the Keating Five, and who many considered the most culpable in that vast corrupt scandal.  That was while he was a Senator using his position to protect a corrupt banker. Convenient memory there,  but then again, no McCain has any credibility when it comes to integrity, or intelligence.

Then there's  Jimmy Carter, nearly 99, and I can't believe some of the comments here. Carter's failure to support the Shah of Iran was a major foundational factor for all this Islamic terrorism were seeing today. And passage of the Community Reinvestment Act was the foundation for the housing crash of 2008. The man was a terrible President.  

Unlike leftists who wish every vileness on conservatives who are dying, or have died, I don't wish bad things on the Carters. I hope when he passes it will be painless and peaceful, surrounded by his loved ones. And unlike leftists who grandly laugh and celebrate the deaths of conservatives, I will not find his passing humorous, nor will I celebrate it, but I will not bemoan it, and I will not gloss over his Presidency either.   The only reason why Jimmy Carter isn't listed as the dumbest President in modern history is because he's now been surpassed by Obama, and Joe Biden, who has surged way passed both of them, so Carter is only the third dumbest and most incompetent.  

Pope Francis is a man with some serious issues, and it seems to me, heresy is among them, "appealing for more changes in Catholic teaching, lamenting the “backwardism” of conservative Catholics in the United States.......I would like to remind those people that ‘backwardism’ is useless and we need to understand that there is an appropriate evolution in the understanding of matters of faith and morals.”.....“Instead of living by doctrine, by the true doctrine that always develops and bears fruit, they live by ideologies.”  

Have you ever seen such gobbledygook?  He claims doctrine must continually evolve, but If doctrine is continually "evolving" how can there ever be a "true" doctrine?

Amazing, who picked this guy?  Why don't we hear him expressing the same outrage over Nicaragua where they're confiscating church property, attacking the clergy and the laity, and the Jesuits, who just like him are leftist loons, and were big supporters of Ortega?  He's a big pusher for all these misanthropic climate initiatives, and yet the real goal behind them is to reduce the world's human population, hence all these movements support abortion on demand. Is there any leftist misanthropic anti-Christian atheistic narrative he can't find a spot for in the Catholic Church?  It seems not!  There's something seriously wrong with this man.

This article appeared on October 9, 2023, Time to Close Harvard?, and time has demonstrated it's time to bring the big stick down on all of America's academic institutions.  Shutting down Harvard is a nice start, but what really needs to be done is end all funding to all these universities, tax their endowment funds, and force them to become "for profit" institutions with the same rules that are imposed on all businesses.

Let them then teach any insanity they choose to teach, but not on the taxpayers dime. Then let them advertise their views to the world and compete in an open market place. And if they lie in their advertisements, they need to be sued by those taken in, and prosecuted for false advertising.  The answer is in the money.

One more thing in response to the person claiming this article is an inaccurate depiction of academia. Here's an old piece I published in May 2023,  Blasts From the Past: Latest Academic Hoax Is A Doozy.   The fact is academia in America would make Trofim Denisovich Lysenko proud, and Eric Blair, AKA, George Orwell, would have been impressed.  And that's just the tip of the iceberg of my files on the corruption of academia.

I find myself amazed at the failure of so many "conservative" writers when it comes to economics.  This article by John Hinderaker is a classic example, Smoot-Hawley II regarding Trump, tariffs and/or trade restrictions, and using Smoot-Hawley as an example.  Smoot-Hawley was passed by Hoover to encourage (force) Americans to buy American.  Well it backfired and triggered a world wide tariff war, unemployment went from 8% to 15% almost over night.  Hinderaker at times amazes me with some of the things he says. Citing the Washington Post is stupid, as they're just as stupid about this as they are about everything else they say and promote.

This isn't 1930 and the world's economy isn't a 1930 economy. WWII changed that forever. The fact is the world needs the U.S, the U.S. doesn't need the world. There are five foundational things that immunizes America against a trade war. We can feed ourselves, fuel ourselves, arm ourselves, defend ourselves and create our own internal economy. The rest of the advanced nations of the world are incapable of performing all five of those foundational tasks on their own, and all five are required.

There will be no trade war because if they can't sell products to America, they'll go broke. We may suffer a bit economically, but if the right administration is in power that will end quickly and the world will end any trade war.

Neither Russia, China, or the EU can perform all of those five foundational tasks. Sometime between 2025 and 2030 I'm expecting a massive worldwide economic downturn and the only advanced nation in the world capable of surviving it intact is America. If the right people are in power.  Also, I'm pleased so many commenters saw this correctly.  People like John need to wake up, and read a history book, or maybe even two.

I've never understood this idea of buying expensive booze, wine, etc, at these showoff auctions.   Why would anyone spend a million dollars on a bottle of hooch. But once that's done, then, there are three options.

1. Never open it as an investment, but if you can afford to spend a million bucks on hooch, the investment argument seems weak to me.
2. Use it to show off. They need a bottle of hooch to make them seem like they're something special?
3. Drink it. But I don't understand how any hooch, no matter the taste, an be worth a million bucks.

Conclusion. They're nuts!   But then again, when you're worth millions and millions of dollars, you're not nuts, you're just eccentric, and Sotheby's thanks you. 

Talking about nuts, try this.  

Immigration into Europe is turning Europe into a violent third world crap hole of savagery. Stuttgart had an Eritrean ‘Cultural Festival’.  An Eritrean cultural festival in Germany? Ya just gotta be kidden me! 

I'm betting you have no idea where Eritrea is?  It's a small East Africa Muslim dominated nation bordering the Red Sea and suffers from instability and violence, just like all Muslim nations.  Well, culture is king, and they brought their culture with them and rioted as testimony to their culture.  And as you can imagine, a lot of people, including the police ended up being hurt.  I posted this comment:  

Amazing. We're shocked when savages are invited to a party and they act savagely. Imagine that. 

Guess what?  Breitbart "removed" it.  I guess calling savages, savages, violates their community standards. Imagine that, apparently even Breitbart has trouble with the truth.  

What in the world was a "67-year-old Minnesota native — and her 66-year-old husband" doing in Israel in the first place and "advocating for the rights of Palestinians". Well, they're dead, and guess who killed them? Hamas!  Right along with 1300 people, all innocent noncombatants who had their rights seriously challenged.   If you're a moral person perhaps you can be saddened at their demise. If you're a rational person you realize they were foolish in their views and paid a price for that folly, as many in Israel are now finding out. Usually only others pay the price for the folly and stupidity of these nitwits.   Now, their views will no longer be a problem, ergo, problem solved. 

You just can't make this stuff up.  We have crime skyrocketing all over the nation, illegal immigrants transporting illegal drugs across the border, rape, murder, and rioting all over, and in Mississippi, a 10 year old boy was arrested for peeing behind a car.  And the judge sentenced him to "3 months in probation, plus a book report".  The asininity doesn't end there. A "special prosecutor" was assigned to this case.....can you imagine?  A special prosecutor!  And he threatened the family "to upgrade the charge of "child in need of supervision" to a more serious charge of disorderly conduct if the boy's family took the case to trial."  

A ten year old boy pees and is arrested? That's insane.  Well, this judge, the prosecutor, and the police should have sentenced to probation, and a book report on stupidity.  The police have discipline their officers, but the fact remains this kid still has to report to his probation officer for three months.  Now that's nuts, and in this case the claim of racism just might justified.
